This recognition is awarded to members of the National Association of REALTORS® under the age of 30 who have demonstrated exceptional skills in areas such as sales, marketing, entrepreneurship, technology, association leadership and community involvement.

Congratulations to our 2023 Director and 2024 Secretary, Quan Remmer, for receiving the Certified Multiple Listing Volunteer (CMLXv) Executive Designation. Certification holders are part of a prestige group who set a performance precedent.

The following items were acted upon at the April Meeting:

✓ A custom RAMCO Events Website Extension was approved for $485.

✓ Motion to merge the entire Leadership Guide into the GTR Policy Manual was adopted.

✓ Motion to change the CEO’s allowable emergency expenses from $2,500 to $25,000 was adopted.

✓ BOD voted and appointed the Stellar MLS positions.

The following items were acted upon at the May Meeting:

✓ Split $502,000 to higher money market treasuries and CDs was ratified.

✓ Up to $5,000 was approved for roof repairs on the 2918 W. Kennedy building.

✓ Motion was approved to request the TB Lightning to remove the Bolts banner from the GTR building.

✓ Up to $17,000 was approved to repair the roof, remove the carport, and repair the exterior door and threshold at 2906 W. Kennedy building.

✓ Up to $22,000 was approved for server replacement.

✓ Motion approved to request code amendment to Section 27-283.6 – “Methods of providing required parking and loading” to remedy developer loophole [city-wide].

✓ Up to $10,000 was approved to replace or repair the current phone system.

✓ Motion approved a $5,000 sponsorship for the Housing and Education Alliance Residential Triumph Awards.

The following items were acted upon at the June Meeting:

✓ Motion approved to engage Marilyn Wilson from the WAV Group and the BOD for 2024 strategic planning session.

✓ Motion approved to allocate the unused budgeted RealtorQuest funds to support Marlene Cambronero in her participation in the CILA Panama 2023.

✓ Motion approved to evaluate additional payment options for our members to improve member benefit and financial profit.

✓ Up to $35,000 was approved for the complete overhaul of the GTR security system.

✓ Up to $135,000 was approved to repair and replace the first level flooring of 2918 W. Kennedy Blvd. building.

✓ Motion approved for the CEO Jason Outman to open new credit cards through Bank of America.

✓ Motion approved for CEO Responsibilities to be added to the GTR Policy Manual.

✓ Jennie Restrepo was appointed to fill the vacated seat as a voting member of the board, and the board recommend that a new Affiliate Director be appointed to fill the vacant ex-officio seat for the rest of 2023.

✓ Motion approved to fill the remaining board vacancy by succession of most recent election results.

✓ The 2024 Officers were appointed.
