BRINGING A BACHELOR’S DEGREE WITHIN REACH

College Transfer and Co-Admission GTCC’s college transfer and co-admission programs allow students to access opportunities at four-year colleges and universities that line up with their academic and professional goals.

Students interested in pursuing a bachelor’s degree can start their journey at GTCC! Transfer pathways in a variety of majors are available and course credits apply to all 16 UNC System universities. Plus, many private colleges also accept credit from GTCC. Students complete their associate degree and enter the university as juniors, making it very affordable to earn a bachelor’s degree.

GTCC also offers two Co-Admission Programs in collaboration with local universities NC A&T and UNC Greensboro in a variety of majors. Qualifying students are admitted to both institutions at the same time, simultaneously enjoy benefits from both schools and save money on tuition making this a very economical option. Students pay lower community college tuition rates in the first two years of participation and then transition to NC A&T or UNCG to complete their junior and senior year. Additionally, students specifically interested in UNC Chapel Hill can apply to the Carolina Student Transfer Excellence Program (C-STEP) program at GTCC.
