About The GTCC Conference Center is a self-supported entity under the auspices of the Guilford Innovative Resource Corporation or G.I.R.C. Housed on the Cameron Campus, it falls administratively under the Corporate and Continuing Education Division of the College. The goal of the center is to support Business and Industry in the region by providing an attractive mid-sized venue for meetings and gatherings at an affordable cost. The Corporate and Continuing Education Division will also use the venue to provide customized training and selective course work desired by business and industry. In doing this, the Center also meets the intended outcome of supporting economic development within the region. Just shy of 100,000 square feet, the state-of-the-art facility is home to the North Carolina Center for Global Logistics as well as a two-year Associate Degree Program for students wanting to pursue careers in that field. In support of the academic program, the building houses a fully functional model warehouse outfitted with the latest in warehousing and distribution equipment, donated by Warehouse Design, Inc. There is approximately 5,000 square feet of flexible lab space that can be used for new and expanding industry when the need to train current and future employees on certain types of equipment arises, thus preventing the company from having to slow-down or close their operation by training on-site. Designed by international architectural firm Perkins Eastman, the building reflects the natural landscape of the surrounding area. The stone and glass exteriors and interiors, featuring ample natural lighting and large glass walls, provide a natural progression from the landscaped campus into the lobby, conference center, and classrooms. The Business and Industry facility is the flagship building of the Cameron Campus. It is also the first college building designed to meet the LEED gold specifications and its overall fit and finish set a new standard of excellence for GTCC.

Auditorium The GTCC Conference Center has ample space to suit all of your meeting needs. The 250-seat auditorium is an eye-appealing and spacious lay out with comfortable tiered seating and tables equipped with full connectivity for cell phones and laptops alike. With superior acoustic properties, this teaching auditorium is a technological dream when it comes to using the built-in presentation technology.
Pre-Function Rooms Each room can seat 12-16 people comfortably. However, this flexible space can form three rooms, one large room or be completely open to the hallway and can serve as a great space for vendors, networking, or additional training space. Each room is equipped with a projector and drop-down screen. Full-campus WiFi is available to all visitors. Room Numbers Capacity

Breakout Rooms Large Breakout Rooms Behind Auditorium Individually each room holds up to 40 people seated at six-feet round tables. When combined into one large room, this space is capable of seating up to 160 people. This space can be designed into one large seminar room, two classrooms or four business meeting style rooms. Each room is equipped with a screen, projector and can be equipped with a laptop, if needed. The entire building is equipped with full campus WiFi so your web-enabled devices can be used anywhere on campus. This space can also be combined to allow for large-scale presentations. Additional Breakout Rooms These rooms are set-up classroom style and can hold 30 -35 people individually. Rooms 130 and 131 can be combined for a capacity of up to 60 people comfortably. Room 132 is a stand-alone classroom. Each room individually is equipped with a desktop computer and a short-throw projector. Room 132 has a desktop computer and a dropdown screen. Meeting Packages Our meeting spaces are configured to maximize any group’s gathering needs. In addition to having the ability to accommodate up to 250 people in the auditorium, we can customize our spaces so that we can configure them into a more intimate setting for groups of 5 to 40. The GTCC Conference Center meeting packages are all inclusive and priced in such a way to take the guesswork out of planning your next meeting, conference or event. Pricing includes customized breakout rooms, vending and reception areas, fully stocked business center, designer ergonomic furnishings, superior audiovisual and internet/connective services. There will always be a courteous and knowledgeable staff member available during the time of your event. You should not have to worry about anything other than your attendees. The GTCC Conference Center event coordinator’s office will assist you with every element of your event and leave no detail to chance.
