Safeguard and redevelopment of Cava Pontrelli in Altamura where, in 2001, about 30.000 dinosaurs footprints were discovered on the main surface of the limestone quarry. The project develop mainly within the quarry identifying a walking path through three main objects that surround and protect the footprints from the water flowing down the hill from the west hand side: a suspended stone block containing a little museum and a media centre that, almost floating, highlights the main entrance; a terraced square open theatre that covers a water collector hypostyle pool, and a spyral shaped promenade architecturelle caved into the highest rock face of the quarry. Outside, on the hill, a system of agricultural allotments, bordered by handmade local stone walls gives citizens the possibility to cultivate the soil with a shared sustainable approach.
