Huntington Beach and global couch surfer Ryan Carlson’s personal shape. Ryan built his double winger swallow tail Ringer for high performance surfing, acceleration and control in all conditions on, inside or above the wave, from New York and HB to the North Shore.

Magically fast Horsepower shape: short, lower rocker, straighter rail line with a speedy thumb tail and a high performance nose for aggressive modern surfing and acceleration in small to medium waves. Grovelation!

This board features a concave bottom that transitions to vee in the tail. The wide outline makes for easy wave catching and down the line glide and stability. The concave bottom adds lift and increased rail curve, which allows radical top to bottom surfing. The straight rail line & vee in the tail keep the board moving forward and hold in during hard carving maneuvers.

Designed for unadulterated lateral speed in small surf, the PuddleFish is an extreme little speed machine. A fast fishy spin on the very popular Puddle Jumper. Distinctly shaped with an inverted swallow, set inside a wide square tail, and a speed bleeding, afterburner, release channel exiting the tail. The PuddleFish allows full force, small wave, rail surfing with confidence and none of the cumbersome drift usually associated with “alternative” fish shapes.

AARON WITHERELL’S SPEEDY, POPPY PRO SHAPE

Our own local ripper Aaron Witherell is currently leading the points race on the 2017 World Series of Wake Surfing tour.

Aaron built boards in our surf factory and we have been experimenting with modified surf boards for wake with him for a few years now. We are really excited to team up with him on his dream board design the Air’N. A wide poppy tail block, speedy flat rocker and mellow concave combined with dynamic “up rail” entry to hard edge exit rail design make the Air’N catch-free, precise and perfect for progression. “This board is unbelievable. I never lack speed or pop and I don’t bury the nose. The durability of these boards is better than anything else you can find. Heel dings, and having to worry about dinging the board on the boat are a thing of the past”

The Short Round bridges the gap between easy riding “cheater” boards and the HP shortboard. The speed comes from a low entry rocker and wide-ish nose, with a forward wide point and generous concave throughout. The performance comes from a moderate, but not flipped up, tail rocker, a double concave through the fins and the same sort of modern bump squash tail that you would find on a typical contest style, small wave HP shortboard. All combined, it doesn’t look like anything fancy and there are no gimmicks, but sometimes less is more, and there’s a lot packed into this little board.

The RNF REDUX hybrid features a very low overall centerline rocker, with modest single concave under the front foot, to keep the board planing at low speeds. The concave gradually reduces to flat up in the nose, allowing forgiving entry into waves and in and out of turns. The vee in the tail enables the board to retain its very low stringer-line rocker, while still being easy to turn, and gives the board so much control. The radical change from concave in the center, to vee in the tail creates an aggressive rail rocker that engages when the board is rolled onto an rail. It then feels like a board with much more overall rocker. Thus allowing tight radius turns on the face, and in the lip. Classic TwinFin influenced placement on the front fins. It can be ridden as a Twin/Quad or a 2+1or however you like it. Enjoy!

Fast and foiled for on rail surfing, but full and forgiving for sub-par and sloppy surf.

Refinements during the PRIME and WT comps have led us to this board that grovels well but is still a true high-performance board. It is fast becoming a go to fave for team riders looking for an edge in small wave contests, as well as the local crew around So-Cal, who are always ready for something new.
