In the "Dissolve Series" Bilge began to experiment with using a type of organic tree resin as an oil painting medium. His intention was to create a different textured effect. He conducted research and developed a special organic resin from the roots of trees. The consistency allows Bilge to dissolve oil paint into the resin in ways that achieve the desired effect.
