What features should I consider?

Look

Standard or Magnum Size?

Benefits: The larger body of a Magnum decoy can be spotted from further away, pulling ducks in over a wider area. Standard size decoys are a cheaper way to get a lot of decoys on your pond.

Wide Body

Benefits: Much like a magnum decoy, a wide body is more visible than a regular size decoy, but is a little more compact than a magnum.

Premium Paint Detail

Benefits: Brighter highlights, more realistic colours and added detail make premium decoys look even more realistic, increasing the chance of attracting passing birds
