What types of decoys are there?
Floating Decoys
Benefits: Water is where game birds land, feed and sleep and its important to have waterproof floating decoys to give the impression that other birds have chosen your body of water as a great place to land
Standing Decoys
Benefits: As well as in water, gamebirds can be found in paddocks or on the waters edge. Large bodied standing decoys located in these places give confidence to passing birds that this is safe place to land.
Motion Decoys
Benefits: the natural movement of flapping wings, feeding or swimming decoys grab the attention of game birds. Decoys that move are one of the greatest ways to entice birds to land
Variety of Species
Benefits: Often there are more than one type of waterfowl in your area and having an assortment of birds can be great at drawing in other breeds and making area the place to be!
