The Internal Trim Batten system is completely integrated into the batten pocket and the battens can stay tensioned in the sail. The profiled end piece offers additional protection against abrasion.

A PVC braid, sewed on the bottom batten pocket, protects your sail from abrasion while uphauling and waterstarting.
All seams in the significantly stressed foot area are protected by Dacron coverings. A PVC edging from foot to the first batten protects the leech edge against your board’s nonslip coating.
The integrated triple pulley has large easy turning stainless brass rolls which greatly reduce the effort required for sail trimming. Also, if you prefer, the rolls are removable to allow the use of standard downhaul pulley hooks.

The top opening is enlarged for an easier mast insertion. The adjustment buckle is placed behind the mast; unnecessary webbing can be stowed in the top opening.

FRED will help you to find the optimal luff trim for your sail. The mark is found in the upper sail window and serves as an orientation point to create the perfect luff tension (loose leech).

The Blow is our lightweight, 4-batten compact wave sail. Compact means a shorter luff with slightly longer boom, thus the Blow is powerful and reacts yet neutral when needed. It is a real allround handling weapon for each wave. With its great stability of profile it covers a very wide wind range. Thanks to its general stability, the amazing drive and the outstanding planing abilities you will have great fun with the Blow also in bump and jump conditions. With a slight pull on the back hand you can easily accelerate and get out of tricky situations. The radical wave sail Peak is designed as a 4-batten sail up to size 4.7, from 5.0 on it has 5 battens. In comparison to our compact wave sail Blow the outline is more drawn-out and the boom length is shortened. With this feature it appears softer with a tiny bit less tension on the back hand. The wide Dacron mast panel loads immediately and provides the sail with a comfortably absorbed feeling. At the same time the Dacron mast panel improves the on/off abilities of the sail. Even in rough conditions the sail stays controllable with just one trim and is thus perfectly suitable for the use in strongest winds. The Peak offers a balanced performance and can be used in all kind of wave spots; compared to the Blow it has a bit more side shore abilities.

The Beat achieved its breakthrough as a light freestyle sail already in 2014 due to its radical diet. The complete upper area of the sail was constructed with light Square-Ply material and it was also equipped with the new Kevlar Warp Laminate in the stressed zones and in the leech. Now sail designer Renato Morlotti has made some more fine tuning and the reward is the full score in the category freestyle and the plus “freestyle allrounder” in the test conducted by Geman “surf” magazine (10/2014). An improvement is the leech which is now more tight and with less loose leech so that the sail is much more controllable and quiet in all duck moves. Thanks to the compact measurements of the Beat, your moves can be done even more precise. With the 2015 model you got a super light, super agile freestyle sail in your hands with which every trick and every move will work out as easy as never before. The Stream is our new camless freeride sail for amazing planing sessions. It replaces the Future and comes up with a new outline as 5+1 batten sail. Plus 1, because the upper batten is only a thin 6mm rod in a slim batten pocket which stabilizes the sail top. The 2 smallest sail sizes get along with 4+1 battens. Due to this change, the Stream is lighter and can be handled easier than its forerunner Future. Regarding the sailing characteristics there are no changes. The Stream is perfectly early planing, accelerates to an immense top speed and feels well-balanced in the hands. It combines sporty performance with uncomplicated sailing characteristics and offers easy handling in all situations. Just sheet in and blast away. Up to and including size 6.9 the Stream can be used with an RDM mast and offers with that an even easier handling with remaining performance.

The Rapid is a super fast camless freerace sail with a huge range of use with one trim only. The Rapid captivates with excellent early planing, high acceleration and an amazing top speed. The only characteristics it has in common with its camless related sail Stream are the easy handling and the immense wide range of use. As the Rapid is a sporty freerace sail with compact and direct feeling and a maximum of planing performance. It can accelerate even in limits whereas it nevertheless keeps its stability thanks to the stiff batten frame. This designed in stability combined with the high speed will get you easily through the wind holes. An efficient engine for all sailors who are keen on speed and pure sailing fun. Those who prefer an easier handling can use up to size 6.7 a high percentage RDM mast without losing performance.

SUNRAY 2 CAM POWER FREERIDE
Our 2 cam freerider Sunray amazes with powerful early planing, incredible top end speed and maximum control to the limits. Two cambers provide the profile with a lot of power already in lower winds and stabilize the sail when the wind will pick up. The Sunray speeds away from the beginning on and offers an unstoppable acceleration. When sailing straight, the sail is like locked in and gets going almost by itself, whereas strong gusts will be absorbed smoothly by the distinctive twist. Rigging the Sunray is an easy matter thanks to the intelligently constructed cambers. With a soft pressure they roll gently onto the mast, just the same they rotate in maneuvers. In comparison with the Vector, the Sunray has a slimmer mast sleeve what results in a more comfortable handling and also the rigging forces are more moderate. A sail for sporty freeriders as well as for comfort-orientated slalom riders.

A.C.E.S. CONCEPT
With the Gun Sails A.C.E.S. concept, we enable you to have a quick and clear overview about the variety of our single rig components. A.C.E.S. derives from 4 different categories of our rig equipment: Advantage/Cross/Expert and Select. From Advantage, the most favourable, robust beginner variant to Select, the high end full carbon series, you will find the right product depending on your personal skills, performance and budget.
A.C.E.S. MAST LINE As a sail manufacturer, we guarantee of course that all recommended Gun Sails masts perfectly fit our relevant sails and that the maximum performance can be reproduced. Rule of thumb: The more carbon percentage, the lighter the mast, the more performance, the higher the price. From Advantage to Select, all our masts are produced in high specification Prepreg Carbon Technology, whereas the carbon percentages and the direction and configuration of the fibres mark the separation between the different models. This technology guarantees the best results in mast response, durability and an optimum of weight. Technical criteria such as length and stiffness (IMCS) are almost standardized with all mast providers, differences can be found in the bending curve. Thanks to our Constant Curve bending curve which is unmodified for years, you can on one hand also use older Gun Sails sail models with our current masts, and on the other hand, our masts are also compatible with most of the sails from other brands.
RDM vs SDM At our sail indications you can see for each sail, if you can use beside a SDM mast also an RDM mast. What are the differences? RDM, Reduced Diameter Mast, also called skinny mast, indicates masts which have a reduced diameter (33 mm inner diameter of the base) and a nearly uniform profile from base to top. SDM means Standard Diameter Mast and indicates masts with a standard diameter (48,5 mm inner diameter of the base) and a conical shape running from base to top. RDM masts carry several advantages: ▲ Higher impact resistance due to higher wall thickness and reduced mast diameter ▲ Easier rigging, the skinny mast glides easier into the mast sleeve ▲ Better handling for waterstarts or in manoeuvres where you grab the mast ▲ In general an often lighter feeling although RDM masts are often heavier In the meantime the majority of our customers choose for their wave and crossover sails an RDM mast. For our camless flat water sails Stream and Rapid we can recommend an RDM mast only to certain sail sizes. For further details, please check the relevant sail indications. The RDM is not suitable for a use with the camber sails Sunray and Vector. These sail lines are designed exclusively for standard diameter masts and get their best performance with them. The GS-R can only be used in the smaller sizes 5.0 and 5.6 sqm with a RDM, the 6.3 can be used with both mast types.
UNIVERSAL TOP FITTING Our masts are equipped with a universal top fitting. In this way, all of our masts can be used in sails of other brands which use a male pin system instead of a female top cap. 36

POLYAMIDE PROTECTIVE SKIN Gun Sails masts are equipped with a Polyamide surface, which offer a significant improved protection against abrasion and scratches. Thanks to the special finish, the masts are even more resistant against UV and thermal impact. In addition to this, it provides the Gun Sails mast line with a unique look and an extraordinary durability.
A.C.E.S. BOOM LINE Also in our boom line you can choose from the most favourable allround model Advantage up to the full carbon boom Select out of 18 different models. The 2015 booms have undergone some updates: New SL front end, revised tube diameter Square Tail and Wide Square Tail carbon rear ends and of course a new design. And completely new, a full carbon boom for the big slalom and formula sails.

The new sleeve which is nearly 50% longer, accurately fits the mast. The larger protective surface has a perfect fit and is also more gentle to the mast due to the bigger and softer plastic inlay. The same also applies for the fully integrated removable RDM adapter. The hinge lock is easy to operate and can be handled without finger trapping. The front end is mounted axially and thus the boom can be set on the mast at any angle. The SL front end is part of all Cross, Expert and Select models.
NEW REAR END STYLES Depending on model and length three differently shaped rear ends are in use.
ROUND TAIL For all Advantage and Cross models as well as for the long variant of Expert boom (in carbon) SQUARE TAIL Carbon rear end for the short variant of Expert boom and the two short models of Select. TERMS OF TRADE ORDERING You can place orders via telephone, fax, mail or Internet. Please always quote your full name and address as well as the delivery address if it is different from your home address, and your telephone number in case of any question. If you already have a customer number, please let us know as this will speed up the process, and note it clearly. If you have any further question, please do not hesitate to contact us. DELIVERY The delivery will be effected by UPS or another reliable carrier appointed by us. Deliveries abroad We have standard flat rate freight charges for most of the European countries. You will find these charges on our website at the "Service" section (Shipping costs). For deliveries to all other countries, we will charge you with the accruing freight costs. Should you need further information on this point, just send us an email stating your required articles and we will let you know the exact amount of freight costs. Regarding deliveries in Non-EU countries such as Switzerland, Norway, etc., we will only charge you with the net price. The VAT of your country will be charged by UPS when delivering your parcel. In case you receive your delivery in Germany, but then you export the goods in a Non-EU country, you have the possibility of receiving back the German VAT (19 %) by returning the original custom documents, which you will receive at the border when making the custom clearance, to us. Then we will make a money transfer to your credit card or bank account for the relevant amount. Deliveries within Germany Freight costs within Germany are € 15,00 for sails, masts, booms and other bulky items;
for smaller items up to 3 kg and neoprene articles: € 5,00. Delivery will be free of charge for 2 sails or a total order amount of more than € 500,00. For articles to be sent later due to unavailability, there will be no additional freight costs. If you want to pay via Cash on Delivery, an extra fee of 5,00 Euro will be charged.
