MESSAGE FROM

the head Teacher's Day is known to be one of the most awaited high-school events, from the very beginning we've seen our Seniors, holding events that cherish our faculty members and remind them of the integral roles they play in each of our journey's. Keeping the same idea in mind, this edition of Meeting Mid-Way attempts to show our dear teachers an iota of their importance that we seem to understand every single day. As everyone says, this journey that we've embarked on definitely isn't easy but with our lighthouses, we get direction and purpose. Thank you so much for all your efforts and the endless hustle and grind you go through for us!

Teachers' Day Note From the very beginning, when we stumbled into the world of IB, we've had our pillars standing by us, relentlessly assisting us, showing us the way and encouraging us to embark on this journey with our highest spirits leaving behind any negative notions that would hinder our growth. You made this two-year journey easier for us, while it did have its challenges and hurdles we had to fight on our own, your ways of showing us the mirror propelled us towards the right path. Thank you for endlessly moulding us and mentoring us through it all. As a team and student's who are growing under your shadow we wish you a very Happy Teacher's Day!

Enigmatic Economics Teacher

"Don't ask me just go"

Agrima ma'am is one of the most understanding and neutral teachers I have heard of. She's attentive towards students ideas and opinions during TOK lessons. From what little interaction I've had with her, she happens to be resourceful and intelligent in various matters. While it's hard to decipher what thoughts go on in her head, ma'am is one of the most sincere and kind people I know of.

The one and only teacher who makes want to know about the world and what goes on in it. Ashwani sir is immensely interesting and his classes are nothing less than fun and thoughtprovoking. Prior to DP I never thought I'd enjoy GP as I was never one for General Knowledge. He has changed my perspective on the subject and makes me a better person each class as a teacher should.

"Ecstatic ESS Enthusiast" One of the most hardworking teachers I've ever come across. Guru sir puts his best efforts with amazing outcomes. As serious he is about submissions and school centric activities he's also incredibly fun to hang around with. Adding on, even though I'm not his ESS student I know for one that he helps his students to his greatest capability and encourages them to do the best they can!

The coffee girl would now like to say words direct

towards her TOK teacher: A subject that's widely infamous for how boring and time consuming it is, Dwayne sir has made an absolute pleasure to delve into the "dull" abyss that TOK is perceived as. With an amalgam of deep and light hearted banter the subject has now become one of my happy places where I am able to freely express my thoughts thanks to the master of overthinking himself.

Passionate Hindi Teacher

The Caring One

The environment that Akshay sir creates for his students is just magical. He really makes us comfortable and encourages us to talk and participate in all sorts of class activities. Having him around really activates me into learning and studying as his teaching method is very easy to adapt and he’s very friendly towards his students. Me, being in his class as a student is the best thing that happened to me in DP1. I believe with Akshay sir’s guidance I can excel in Hindi, as he makes our classes easy and enjoyable. I’m just glad that I found a teacher like him.

Despite only knowing her for a short period of time, I know that she'll always be there for all her students. She's there for us to set up college advisory meetings, submit our papers and provide us with webinars to attend. I entered DP being scared about college applications but now I know that with Laveena ma'am and Neena ma'am support anything is possible.

During the lockdown last year, Baani chose to spend her time doing what inspires her most- she pursued her writing achieving a result that seemed to bring a bag full of joy for her. Through this period, she managed to utilise her time to author another book, titled ‘A Tapestry of Tales’ that was published this year. This book is a collection of short stories that seemed to cover an array of themes. Each of these pieces, include fictional stories that travel through different ideas, indulging the reader into the world of the characters – giving you comfort, offer you the opportunity to let your imagination run wild and live the stories that have been penned down in front of you. A Tapestry of Tales, like the title suggests weaves in the lives of different characters and their identities into one, bringing the essence of the importance of choices. The book is available on all online platforms namely Amazon, Flipkart, Kindle and Notion Press.

Despite having published this book a few months back, I still havent seemed to wrap my head around the fact that I have two books under my name today. With the constant support that I’ve received from my teachers, a way for me was paved gratifying this achievement of mine allowing me to follow my passion to the highest degree along with their undoubted faith. It’s only because of all the faculty members that I’ve been able to achieve such heights!

Teachers Day Messages from the Students Thank you so much for all the hardwork you have put in my skills and made my game better for all the years i have been in pathways.

Thank you for making me looove the subject and being super cool always😌 YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL INSIDE OUT and I’m so thankful to have you as my teacher❤️Plus, EE HELP MEE😂

I’ll always forever be grateful to your extra classes and amazing tutorials😌 Talking to you before or after class is something that I truly enjoy :P

You have really made me get out of my comfort zone in music and I am so so so happy that you did that. In one year, I’ve learned so much about music through you and your experiences. Thank you always for being such an integral part of my musical journey:) TOK buzz calls, your emails, GIFS, pranks in class, jokes are few of the things that truly makes my experience in pathways “BRILLIANT”. Thank you for encouraging me always.

I would rather write a message to you on friendship day but I’d like to thank you for always treating your students as friends and making each one of us so comfortable and at ease while talking to you.
