Watching the world go by | James Ricketts, left, sits with his family Tuesday outside his home in Murphysboro. Ricketts
said when the weather is nice, he sits outside for hours at a time. “I just like to sit and watch the traffic,” Ricketts said. His daughter, Carolina Parham, said spending evenings outside is something her family has enjoyed for a long time. “We used to live out in the country, and this was the perfect time of day to sit outside,” she said.
