PROJECT 01 WUHAN GREEN MARKET
Renovation of Wuhan Huanan Seafood Market Individual work Academic project Location: China, Wuhan Time: 2020-2021 With the outbreak of Covid-19 in 2020, the problems (sanitary environment, food safety) exposed by traditional markets have been paid more attention. In recent years, supermarkets and new retail industries have developed rapidly, but traditional farmer's markets still occupy the first place in market share. And as a place for shopping and socializing, it plays an important role in the functioning of the whole community. This project aims to retain the community communication mode of the traditional market, improve the disadvantages of the traditional market, activate the vitality of the market in the local community. A new operating system and self-build mode of shops have been established in this project, and there is a leisure public space to let people experience farming.

PROJECT 02 RESILE
Resilience Center for the widows of Afghanistan Individual work Competition Location: Afghanistan, Kandahar Time: 2020-2021 Years after the fall of the Taliban regime, women in Afghanistan still do not enjoy the same rights as men. Also, Afghanistan's long history of war has left more than 2 million widows who lack formal education, jobs, health care, and a life of dignity. The emergence of Zanabad (A Hill of widows) reflects the strong desire of Afghan women for independence and woman power. This project aims to redesign homes for the women of Zanabad, planning a self-sufficient community that will serve as havens for widows. According to Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory, the center should not only meet their physiological and safety needs but also provide them with the necessary training and job opportunities to realize their self-actualization. More importantly, the building will be a symbol of the rise of women's rights in Afghanistan.

PROJECT 03 GET FIT IN NATURE
Planning of Sanyang Wetland Sports park Individual work Academic project Location: China, Wenzhou Time: 2018-2021 Wenzhou Sanyang Wetland covers an huge area of 13.6 square kilometers, but due to long-term water pollution and human intervention, it has lost the ecological functions of natural wetlands. Wetlands are known as the "kidney of the earth" and play an important role in the protection of the ecological environment and biodiversity. Therefore, protecting the natural resources of the wetland and activating the vitality of the wetland is crucial. This project aims to plan the Sanyang Wetland into a sports park for fitness, hoping that people will get fit in nature. I combine fitness trails and electronic interactions so that people can plan exercise schedules and learn about wetlands with the help of their mobile phones. Besides, a professional training place on a section of the trail has been proposed, including indoor and outdoor sports spaces.

Sanyang Wetland has a vast area and a very complex natural structure. I combined the interactive design with the planned outdoor fitness system, so that visitors could plan their trip in advance and see their real-time location through the map on the mobile phone APP. Information about each event site will also be integrated into an app where people can register online. Moreover, there will be a feedback community where visitors can share their experiences and contribute to the development of the Sanyang Wetland.

4. Create a connection between the two sides of the river
These roof gardens and terraces increase the audience of the stage. At the same time, people can enjoy the unique background of the stage-wetland, city and distant mountains will be integrated into one.
The stage is the central point of the project. All indoor and outdoor Spaces are opened towards the stage, so that people can see the scene happening on the stage no matter where they are.
As a professional training venue, it has outdoor training ground, as well as some indoor sports, including gym, taekwondo, martial arts, table tennis, boxing and so on. I used two circular ramps to connect the first and second floors of the building on both sides of the river. It can also used as a viewing platform.

PROJECT 04 BAT HOUSE SERIES
Manipulate Residential Units for Bats Individual work Competition Location: China, Wenzhou Time: 2019-2021 The global outbreak of COVID-19 makes humans full of blame and prejudice against bats. Viruses spread to people because humans invaded the habitats of bats, dig their guano as fertilizer, capture them, and kill them. However, bats will not easily approach humans. When forests and grasslands are developed for grazing, planting, building, wild animals are forced to get closer to humans and livestock, thereby virus has a chance to spread. Wildlife is not to blame. On the contrary, bats play a substantial ecological role that is vital to the health of our natural ecosystem and human economies. Protecting bats and their habitats helps create a healthier, safer world. Today, 40 percent of the bat species is threatened or endangered. This project aims to protect bats, conduct human interventions for endangered bat species, build, monitor, and maintain specially designed artificial roosts, then conduct biological research to develop a conservation management plan to protect bats.

Location
Fijian Island of Vanua Levu
The Florida bonneted bat is the rarest bat in the United States. This species has suffered habitat loss due to rapid land development and climate change, which increases the intensity and frequency of storms, reducing natural roost availability.
Nakanacagi Cave on the island of Vanua Levu, Fiji, is the only known roosting site for the endangered Fijian free-tailed bat. Protecting this site is crucial for the survival of this species, which is thought to be only 5,000 individuals and decreasing.

The first type of bat house is a building that can accommodate six conventional bat houses. By transforming a simple three-dimensional model, we can imagine a suitable environment for bats to live in. The first is the beginning of the whole project to attract the first bats through construction.
The second type of bat house is a tower structure that can accommodate eight conventional bat houses on one floor. Compared with the first type, the structure is more complex. It is no longer a simple bat house. High-density bat houses can provide better biological research materials for the scientists. In terms of landscape, the tower bat house can also be used as a landmark of the local environment. 33/38

The third type of bat house is no longer confined to the bat house, but combined with landscape installations. The aim is to strengthen the relationship between people and the environment. Bats, people and environment can interact well through this building. Also, to prevent direct contact between bats and humans from spreading the virus, the bat houses is confined to the top.

SUN EXPOSURE: Houses where high temperatures in July average 80° F or less, should receive at least 10 hours of sun, and more is better. At least six hours of direct daily sun is recommended for all bat houses where July’s daily highs average less than 100° F. Full, all-day sun is often successful in all but the hottest climates. To create favorable conditions for maternity colonies in summer, internal bathouse temperatures should stay between 80° F and 100° F as long as possible. (Bat Conservation International)

OTHERWORK “INFRASTRUCTURING” TERRITORY Architecture, settlements and landscape along the Wenruitang water network. Group work with Wang Yixin Research Location: China, Wenzhou Time: 2018-2020 Wenruitang River runs through the whole Wenzhou city, with a long history and rich functions. Wenzhou's urbanization develops along the wenruitang river, forming a unique urban network. But now, the rapid urbanization process leads to the disconnection between the new settlement and wenruitang river, weakening the function of Wenruitang River, and the old settlements along the banks of the river have been violently demolished. This project aims to study the development history of Wenruitang and its close relationship with the city of Wenzhou, and to solve the problem of the preservation of old buildings on both sides of the Wenruitang River through case studies and design.

Otherwork-“Infrastructuring” Territory Wenr uitang River, located in the south of Oujiang river and north of Feiyun River, is an important river system in Wenzhou which is under the t is under the jurisdiction of Lucheng, Ouhai, Longwan and Ruian. The water source mainly comes from three streams including Guxi, Xiongxi, Guoxi and the mountain Water Resource diagram streams of Daluo mountain and Jiyun mountain. After the natural changes of land and sea, sand deposition, it is eventually formed by artificial dredging. Due to the low terrain of Wenzhou and frequent water disasters, flood discharge has become the most important function of Wenruitang River in history. With the passage of time, its function has gradually expanded from a single flood discharge to five functions: flood discharge, providing water for living and production, water transport, providing aquaculture waters, adjusting the ecological environment.
The Wenruitang structure the settlement process in the Wenzhou territory. It gave the Wenzhou Landscape its territorial logic. With the rapid urbanization of the last forty years a new logic, following a new network of infrastructures (Highway, Railway …), overlapped on the previous logic creating a new form of vernacular landscape where Infrastructures meet with islands of density in a chaotic way. The new territorial logic of the Wenruitang Valley takes the form of a scattered density within a striated landscape. Two territorial logics conflicting and defining the fringes of Wenzhou Urbanization.
