Air Travel Exclusives HOW TRAVELING ON A BUDGET EXIST

Trouvaille SERENDIPITY THE FACT OF FINDING INTERESTING OR VALUABLE BY CHANCE.

AIR TRAVEL

EXCLUSIVES Are you in the process of planning a trip? If you are, you may be concerned with the cost of doing so, especially if your trip requires flying. Whether you are traveling a long distance, like to another country, or if you are flying with a large family, you may be concerned with costs. Of course, it is normal to be worried about the cost of flying, but you should take a little bit of comfort in knowing that there is such a thing as cheap airfare rates. When it comes to cheap airfare rates, one of the most commonly asked questions involves finding them. There are many individuals who are unsure as to how they can go about finding cheap airfare rates. What many do not realize is that doing so is often much easier than originally though. Outlined below are just a few of the many ways that you can go about finding cheap airline reservations. Before focusing on a few of the many ways that you can go about finding cheap airline tickets, it is important to know what to look for. This can sometimes be difficult, as we all often have different views as to what is cheap and what is not. With that being said, there are some signs that you will want to watch for when looking to find cheap and affordable air travel rates.

One of the best ways to go about finding cheap air travel rates is to know what all of your options are. When you know where to look, you are more likely to see success. Online, you will find a large number of online travel websites. These are websites that not only offer airline reservations, but hotel accommodations, and car rentals as well. Online travel websites, themselves, come in a number of different formats. For example, there are the larger, known sites that operate on international levels, and then there are smaller travel websites that tend to focus on a specific area, such as California.

What is nice about using online travel websites to find cheap airfare rates is that it is easy to do. Typically, all you need to do is key in your intended dates of travel, your starting point, and your destination. You will then be provided with information on a number of flights, often from a number of different airlines.

Air Travel: Finding the cheapest airline rates is simple. written by Yami Yorai / GVE® Magazine This information should be quoted with a price. In addition to offering everyday low prices, many online travel websites also have great daily deals or specials on specific flights, such as a flight from New York to Las Vegas.

FIRST CLASS FLIGHTS Although online travel websites are a great way to find cheap travel rates, you will want to checkout the airlines themselves. All airlines have online websites. Many will regularly offer deals and discounts on many of their flights. These deals and discounts are likely to change often, so if you see something that catches your eye, you may want to snatch up the deal real quick before it is gone.

By taking the two above mentioned approaches, you are sure to come across cheap airfare rates. Even if you can’t come across any amazing deals or discounts, you can still price compare airlines and specific flights to at least prevent yourself from paying more for your airline tickets than you need to. When comparing prices, either for airlines individually or with online travel websites, be sure to write down all quote rates. Other information that you will want to write down includes the airline, date, time, and the name of the online travel website the deal is being offered on. This will allow you to easily compare to find the cheapest air travel rates, Receive discounts on Qatar Airways flights through GVE by using the QR code on the next page!

LILLIMIDTOWN.COM

LILLI MIDTOWN Nestled in Atlanta, Georgia’s Midtown neighborhood, lilli Midtown is an architectural wonder consisting of 24 stories and 147 units. It is a plush high-rise apartment building that is seated on a site the size of 0.31 acres. The modern building emittis a slim silhouette across the property. Across from lilli Midtown is the famous Fox Theater. Designed by ODA, the tall building is a total of 208,990 square feet. The urbanmodern nature of this architectural building draws a host of urban professionals by offering its residentsdeluxe amenities, intimate dining facilities, a pool terrace situated on the rooftop, as well as a sophisticated clubhouse.

A news article can include accounts of eyewitnesses to the happening event. It can contain photographs, accounts, statistics, graphs, recollections, interviews, polls, debates on the topic, etc. Headlines can be used to focus the reader’s attention on a particular (or main) part of the article. Lilli Midtown

DESIGN OF LILLI MIDTOWN The design of lilli Midtown is unique in its urbanmodernism expression. In fact, lilli Midtown contains fifty percent more exterior glass as compared to other ordinary urban high-rise buildings. The window glass of this architectural wonder designed by ODA is dark grey, which provides a nice offset to the white aluminum panels of the exterior expression of the building. This seeks to highlight its three-dimensional nature.

The modern interior design of lilli Midtown is complimented with plenty of natural light and features a highly Scandinavian aesthetic. The building itself explores a controlled projection of mass geometries. For example, the building maximizes its square footage as it extends upwards. Since it is a residential high-rise, the practical distribution of the units is laid out somewhat differently on each floor in order to make the most of the space given, which is a total of 208,990 square feet.

This three-dimensional nature explores the enmeshment of indoor and outdoor living spaces. For example, the outdoor spaces are encased outside, and the volume is denoted by a minimum of two sides of the interior space that it relates to.

There are 147 residential units within lilli Midtown. The slender floor plates have a mere seven residences on each floor. The distribution of these on each floor differs from floor to floor. The light airy nature of those residences is also carried through to the refined and complex rooftop amenity spaces that feature an impressive resident lounge, cozy dining room, as well as a luxurious pool terrace. Each amenity is ornately designed, featuring a sophisticated palette of finishes and polished furnishings.

The enmeshment of these two spaces across more than one plane serves to emphasizethe approach to natural extensions that makes lilli Midtown unique in design.

TEN QUESTIONS WITH KELLY WEARSTLER

You’ve encouraged followers to ‘love colour, take risks and stay curious’, would you say this is intuitive or something that can be learnt? All of us are capable of loving colour, taking risks and staying curious, but it definitely takes practice. Start by recognising patterns or colors that you feel a connection to and begin to build out a design moment from there.

Is there something you include throughout all your projects? For example, a certain colour and/or material, textural element? Inspiration for each project is unique and prompts an individual story told through design. I draw from a range of sources – vintage books, contemporary fashion and the nature that surrounds. But my work is always evolving so I don’t like to place any restrictions or boundaries on anything.

You’ve created a number of designs for The Rug Company, which do you have in your own home? I have a custom Bravado Graphite running up the stair in my Georgian style home in Beverly Hills. It has a strong graphic angular language that when seen from above almost has a trompe l’oeil effect. It’s the perfect everyday statement.

“The liaison between fashion and interior design forever influences my work. I dress the way I design spaces, with an affinity for anomalies and spirited silhouettes, colour and fearless creativity. Personal style is an incredible blueprint for what makes us feel good in our home environment and vice versa.” - Kelly Wearstler Shop Now

WHAT SIGNIFIES LUXURY FOR YOU?

Luxury is crafting your own story. PICK ONE: GEOMETRICS, ABSTRACT OR FLORALS?

I truly love them all.

WHAT HAS INSPIRED YOUR DESIGN PROCESS LATELY?

There are always different elements at play like architecture, fashion, graphics, film and photography, among many others.

Do you value the importance of sustainability over the ethical sources? Also what craftmanship collaborations are in the works?

Absolutely. Natural materials and vintage pieces are infused into all of my projects and I’m always looking to reimagine materials and silhouettes from existing pieces. We also create many of ourMy home in Beverly Hills is one of designs locally in Los Angeles.my favorite projects. At its heart there is the staircase to the I strongly believe in a sense ofbedroom lined in my custom longevity and the luxurious, tactileBravado Graphite. WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE WHEN CHOOSING A RUG? ANY PLACEMENT SUGGESTIONS?

You have to think about the number of elements to consider such as the scale, color, fabrications and weaves available. I would consider the statement that you want to make. Do you want a quiet statement achieved with a more muted design, or a rug that works in synergy with a piece of art in that room. I also think about the impact that I want the rug to have on the interior. Does it make the space feel smaller or larger? Do I want to add a rich texture through materiality, a beautiful weave or color; or an architectural element through the graphic design? There are so many incredible options available through The Rug Company.

The highlight has been working with the founders Christopher and Suzanne Sharp. This was one of my first product partnerships and they gave me a true carte blanche with creating a product with their craftsmanship and my design vision. This has continued through to today and The Rug Company has grown with me as I evolved. It’s an incredible world class team, with an ethos rooted in luxury, and great design and craftsmanship.

“The creative process starts with inspiration. Mood. Everything and anything can be a source of illumination, ideation. As I gather and observe the images as a whole, I am able to edit into a tight, concise mood board as I see which images dialogue and create a dynamic tension with each other for a distinctive voice.” - Kelly Wearstler

Zucot / ZOO-KAHT/ Gallery Zucot brings the art electricity to Castleberry Hill Pronounced / ZOO-KAHT/ ZuCot Gallery was founded in 2008 by Troy Taylor, an engineer who developed a passion for collecting art during his global travels as a Fortune 500 corporate executive. With encouragement from some of the artists whose work he collected, he purchased a dirt floor commercial space in the eclectic Castleberry Hill section of Atlanta and transformed it into the brightly light, chic, and contemporary space that it is today.

"ZuCot" was the nickname given to his paternal grandmother, Frances Ann Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was born in the late 1800’s on the British colony of Saint Christopher (now St. Kitts). She was one of the first women allowed to own a stall in the local produce market. In order to survive the fierce competition with her male counterparts, she developed the reputation of being “as tough as a ZOO CAT”. Her vocabulary and demeanor allowed her to mix it up with the best of them. As the family migrated to America, they softened the name and refer to her as ZuCot. “The name of the gallery [ZuCot] is a tribute to the pioneers and giants whose shoulders we stand on. Without knowing where you came from, it is difficult to know where you are going” says Taylor.

ALEXANDRA STEFANEC

ALTHOUGH MY PAINTINGS ARE CATEGORICALLY NONOBJECTIVE, THESE PROCESS-DRIVEN WORKS ARE ACTS OF RESOLUTION WITH MEMORIES, LOSS, SOLITUDE, INTIMACY, AND NOSTALGIA.

WRITTEN BY

GRETA MAE LINDINBERG

Alexandra is a painter living and working out of Denver, Colorado. Her process-driven works are acts of resolution with memories, loss, solitude, intimacy, and nostalgia. Stefanec encompasses the use of color configurations and the art of transforming geometric and curvilinear forms. She explores the unlimited potentiality of chromatic and tonal scales, visual planes and volume within a two-dimensional framework. “I use painting as a way of navigating my experiences of past and present. I have sought a very private relationship with my art-making; not because I am ashamed of being a painter, but because I find myself most vulnerable in the painting process where my identity is central. Although my paintings are categorically non-objective, these processdriven works are acts of resolution with memories, loss, solitude, intimacy, and nostalgia. Each painting is referencing one or more specific memories that I attempt to make peace with; The title of the work being the most explicit exposure of the painting’s concept.

Written by Greta Mae Lindinberg New artistic horizons are being conquered in the realms of art. recent trends in art that do not conform but should nevertheless be taken into account. - Abstract Intepretation Alexandra Stefanec's paintings are process driven aids to navigating her experiences of past and present. Although categorically nonobjective, works are acts of resolution with memories, loss, solitude, intimacy, and nostalgia. These paintings reveal hours of introspection where I confront myself most intensely attempt to achieve acceptance of love, loss, and sense of self.”

The setting of the artwork vary and encompass various elemental aspects of her artwork. Inspiration from the workings of abstract and contemporary artist alike, Stefanac has found her own approach and style in modern art. As a widely accepted definition, art is produced when imagination or creativity are used to create something that can be directly experienced through our senses. Although visual art that is witnessed through our sense of sight is the most common form, art can appeal to our other senses as well, such as our auditory or tactile perceptions.

What are your methods for your works? Through methods of layering and removing textured materials, Stefanec is sorting and uncovering what occupies her mental and emotional space. These paintings reveal hours of introspection.

Wine Tasting Wine tasting begins with the swishing. The reason why wine tasters swish the wine around in their mouths is to get the taste. Both the front and the back areas of the tongue contain taste buds, although neither one has any distinct sensation in taste. Taste buds can detect food and liquid that is bitter, salty or sweet, without a problem.

The Methodology To get the proper taste from wine however, you need to swish it around in your mouth and allow your taste buds and sense of smell to bring out the unique and fine flavors in the wine. These techniques can help you bring the most out of your wine, providing you follow them and know how to bring out the taste.

The Art The art of wine tasting is indeed an art. Wine tasters do however, follow some general guidelines and rules that judge how great a wine is. . To properly taste the wine, you should first take a sip, swish it around in your mouth, and then swallow. Once you swish the wine around in your mouth, you’ll bring out the rich and bold flavors of the wine. After swallowing, you’ll be able to distinguish the after taste of the wine, and the overall flavor.

The Varieties One should always start by pouring the wine into a clear glass, then taking a few minutes to look at the color. As far as the color goes, white whines aren’t white, but actually yellow, green, or brown. Red wines on the other hand are normally a pale red or dark brown color. Red wine gets better with age, while white whines get more stale with age.

Cabernet Sauvignon is sustainably sourced from two renowned Paso Robles vineyards located in prime sub-AVAs. ESTRELLA RIVER RANCH VINEYARD,SAN MIGUEL DISTRICT AVA; The majority of the grapes come from the San Miguel District, the northern most sub-AVA in the greater Paso Robles region. This area was named after the San Miguel Mission, built by Franciscan missionaries in the late 1700s. Fruit from this region is subject to the effects of large diurnal shifts, sometimes experiencing a swing as large as 50 degrees, helping to enhance the beautiful acidity in the fruit. The deep alluvial, sandy soils, combined with being one of the warmer AVAs in the Paso Robles region, makes for ripe fruit with smooth, supple tannins. PARRISH TEMPLETON VINEYARD,EL POMAR DISTRICT AVA; About 23% of the grapes come from the family-owned Parrish Templeton Vineyard in the El Pomar District, south of the city of Paso Robles and east of the Templeton Gap, where sea breezes and marine fog help to cool the vineyards at nights. Comprised of clay, granite and calcareous soils, this site creates beautifully balanced fruit with enhanced structure.

The Scent the smell of the wine, which you should do in two steps. You should start with a brief smell to get a general idea of the wine, then take a deep, long smell. This deeper smell should allow you take the flavor of the wine in. The more experienced wine tasters prefer to sit back a bit and think about the smell before they actually taste the wine.

The Evaluation Once you have looked at the wine, smelled it, and finally tasted it, you’ll be able to evaluate the wine from a taster’s standpoint. This is the easiest way to determine the quality of the wine, and whether or not it has been properly stored and aged. As with all things in life - the more you taste wine - the better you will get at distinguishing the unique flavors.

Italian opera is the earliest known opera form. Although the Greek and Roman Theater had inspired it, it inspired many countries around the world, including most of Europe. Some say that the word opera has been derived from the Italian words “Opera in Musica” which means work in music. The evidence of the very first opera performed in Italy was at the wedding of Marie de Medici and Henry IV of France. The Italian opera had three stages namely the baroque, the romantic and the modern. Baroque period is the name of that period of Italian opera that originated in Italy in the beginning of the 17th century. The voice used was very high pitched along with instrumental music. This style was known as monody and was developed by Giulio Caccini and Jacopo Peri. It was reflected in the opera Euridice that was based on the story of Eurydice and Orpheus. When there were no dialogues during the performance, there were songs with music. This type of opera inspired many other writes, on of them was Claudio Monteverdi who wrote La Favola D’Orfeo that had the monody style.

It was his first play and it still is famous with the audience today. Monteverdi worked hard on synchronizing instrumental music with the words and showed this effort in Mantua, with large choruses with nearly forty instruments that created a really good effect. He was named as the Maestro Da Cappela in Venice in the year 1613. .

FEATURES

GIUSEPPE VERDI NABUCCO The CEO & Founder of GVE® Jeremy L. Woodard brings forward arts & entertainment to the city of Atlanta.

Monteverdi wrote many compositions for this theater and his works L’Incoronazione di Poppae and I Ritomo d’Ullise in Patria were prominent out of the many.

He even brought the Bel Canto and Buffa styles into Italian opera. Bel canto had a more even tone and eased the singing stress. Buffa had more comic touch with amusing and mocking elements. All these acted as the stepping-stone for many other later composers. At the end of the century there were three hundred and fifty opera created for the theaters of Venice alone.

Many young artists were inspired to work in these theaters and bring out their talents. People came from outside Italy too.

In the 19th century romantic opera began to rise and Gioacchino Rossini was responsible for it. The romantic opera involved lots of emotions and imagination along with lots of music and arias. This music was so fine that it over shadowed the blunders in the stories. His composures such as La Cenerentola and Barber of Seville are famous till today. Many others such as Vincenzo Bellini, Giuseppe Verdi and Gaetano Donizetti followed him. Thus thereafter creating a legacy of those to follow from their period of time.
