Pronounced / ZOO-KAHT/ ZuCot Gallery was founded in 2008 by Troy Taylor, an engineer who developed a passion for collecting art during his global travels as a Fortune 500 corporate executive. With encouragement from some of the artists whose work he collected, he purchased a dirt floor commercial space in the eclectic Castleberry Hill section of Atlanta and transformed it into the brightly light, chic, and contemporary space that it is today. "ZuCot" was the nickname given to his paternal grandmother, Frances Ann Taylor. Mrs. Taylor was born in the late 1800’s on the British colony of Saint Christopher (now St. Kitts). She was one of the first women allowed to own a stall in the local produce market. In order to survive the fierce competition with her male counterparts, she developed the reputation of being “as tough as a ZOO CAT”. Her vocabulary and demeanor allowed her to mix it up with the best of them. As the family migrated to America, they softened the name and refer to her as ZuCot. “The name of the gallery [ZuCot] is a tribute to the pioneers and giants whose shoulders we stand on. Without knowing where you came from, it is difficult to know where you are going” says --ZucotTaylor.

he Grenache Shiraz Mourvèdre is crafted from Grenache from old vines growing in the sandy soils of Blewitt Springs in the centre of McLaren Vale, Shiraz from the exposed slate and quartz slopes high in the windswept Sellicks Hills, and Mourvèdre from the loam soils of the more protected Sellicks Foothills to the south. The perfume of Blewitt Springs contrasts and combines with the spice and pepper of the southerly Sellicks vineyards.
ESTRELLA RIVER RANCH VINEYARD,SAN MIGUEL DISTRICT AVA; The majority of the grapes come from the San Miguel District, the northern most sub-AVA in the greater Paso Robles region. This area was named after the San Miguel Mission, built by Franciscan missionaries in the late 1700s. Fruit from this region is subject to the effects of large diurnal shifts, sometimes experiencing a swing as large as 50 degrees, helping to enhance the beautiful acidity in the fruit. The deep alluvial, sandy soils, combined with being one of the warmer AVAs in the Paso Robles region, makes for ripe fruit with smooth, supple tannins.
PARRISH TEMPLETON VINEYARD,EL POMAR DISTRICT AVA; About 23% of the grapes come from the family-owned Parrish Templeton Vineyard in the El Pomar District, south of the city of Paso Robles and east of the Templeton Gap, where sea breezes and marine fog help to cool the vineyards at nights. Comprised of clay, granite and calcareous soils, this site creates beautifully balanced fruit with enhanced structure.

Montiano is deep ruby-red in color and exhibits a wide range of aromas, from red and black berries intertwined with mulling spice and hints of vanilla, to wet flint, cigar box and dark chocolate. On the palate the wine is supple, full-bodied and elegant, with a lingering finish. The estate suggests serving this wine at a temperature of 18° C (64° F) to fully appreciate its elegance in a glass. Only the best fruit from the finest, low-yielding estate-grown vineyard blocks is hand-harvested each vintage for the Montiano.
The 2018 vintage began with rather normal temperatures and precipitation, promoting budbreak that was in line with the historical average of the region. Spring, and in particular the month of May, was characterized by frequent rainfall and temperatures slightly below average. The summer months were generally hot and dry, without noticeable spikes, providing optimal ripening conditions for the Merlot, Cabernet and Sangiovese grapes that comprise this wine. A windy and cooler September insured healthy and phenolically-mature clusters.

It was developed in the workshop of Erwin Komenda, a master of restrained streamlining who had been in charge of sheet metal and design techniques at Porsche since the VW Beetle. The new style of closed coupe was designed by Komenda and it soon became the embodiment of the sports car, thanks to its fastback..
A few years later and started building his first car with his son, Ferry Porsche. The car was named the Porsche 356 and it was a sports car and a reminiscent of the Volkswagen. It had the same four-cylinder boxer engine that was rear-mounted, just like the VW. It was far from being a powerful sports car, developing only 40 bhp and a maximum speed of 87 mph (140 km/h). First produced as a convertible and later as a hard top it distinguished by the very elegant and innovative body.
Ferdinand Porsche played an important role in the development of airplanes and racing cars, and the construction of tanks for the Wehrmacht. Later on, he set up his own engineering workshop and designed among others the Volkswagen. This tradition was continued by Komenda and Ferdinand “Butzi” Porsche, the founder’s grandson, with the 911. The 911 became easily recognizable: it had attractive sloping bonnet and what later became characteristic “frog eye” headlights, curves running from the top edge of the windscreen to the rear bumper and a straight waistline. From a functional and technical point of view it was more like BMW 1500, although it retained the stylistic features of the original Porsche. The new 911 will become the foundation stone of Porsche’s identity, even though the design was not always appreciated. During the 1970`s and 1980`s, the designers attempts to distance Porsche from its legendary design brought the company to the edge of disaster. The more modern 924 model, “a people’s Porsche”, developed with Volkswagen, as well as the 928 were far from fulfilling the expectations. Porsche became highly profitable since they now knew that the typical Porsche features were timeless. Nearly forty people now worked in the design department on further developments of the long-running 911.These developments included the 911 GTI, a powerful combination of sports and racing car YAMI YORAI
