DID YOU KNOW? The demand for qualified, talented nurses figures to grow in the years to come. According to the U.S. Bureau

EXCAVATING & PAVING

of Labor Statistics, more than half a million nurses are expected to retire by 2022. Couple that with an existing nursing shortage, and the BLS projects a need for 1.1 million registered nurses in the near future. A shortage also figures to affect Canada, where the Canadian Nurses Association recently estimated that the country would be forced to confront a nursing shortage of roughly 60,000 nurses by 2022. Various factors are contributing to the nursing shortage in both countries, including an increasingly large aging population that will require more and more nurses to meet its health care needs. In the United States, the Affordable Care Act, which was passed in 2010, increased access to health care for millions of people across the country, thereby creating a greater need for nurses and other health care professionals. In addition, a greater emphasis on preventive care in many countries across the globe figures to compel more people to visit their physicians even when they’re otherwise feeling healthy. As more people prioritize preventive care, the need for more nurses will likely increase.

HOW TO PROTECT YOUR HOME WHEN YOU’RE AWAY Switch from a traditional lock and key to a lockbox. Individuals who travel frequently can take a page from the realtor notebook and switch from a traditional lock and key lock system to a lockbox. Lockboxes require that a code is entered before a box containing a key can be unlocked. Homeowners who want this added measure of protection don’t even need to put a key inside the lockbox, which typically covers a lock, making it extremely difficult for potential thieves to pick the lock.

POINTERS ON MOVING TO A NEW HOME BY RENTAL TRUCK (NAPSI)—Moving yourself to a new home by renting a truck can be easier than you may realize, if you heed these five facts and tips. • Know when to go. When planning your trip, take into account the time of day you intend to travel and likely traffic patterns. Always leave lots of extra time and be aware of possible bottlenecks along the way. • Be up on your truck. Make sure you can find and understand all the truck’s switches and gauges. Adjust the seat and side mirrors so they match your height and comfort zone. Also, remember, trucks are taller, wider and may weigh up to 10 times more than the average car, so you have to be extra vigilant. • Understand the agreement. Most truck rental agreements say something like the language from the U.S. Department of Transportation that prohibits the “carrying or hauling of explosives and other dangerous articles.” That means you can’t pack paint, chemicals and cleaning materials, flammable solvents, propane, gasoline and the like. Check with your rental agent if you’re not sure about a particular item. • Know the “No-Zone.” Trucks have big blind spots, what the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration calls the “No-Zone.” You should know where these areas are, explain the experts on truck rental at Penske, especially when changing lanes or coming to a stop. • Look into insurance. Most insurance and credit card companies won’t cover truck rentals under existing policies. If your insurance company is among them, consider signing up for additional coverage to protect yourself and your belongings. You may feel more confident knowing there is a company that offers free 24/7 emergency roadside assistance. Learn More: You can find further moving facts and tips at www.PenskeTruckRental.com and (800) GO-PENSKE. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER ● GVPENNYSAVER.COM 1-866-812-8111

Living Christmas tree, which refers to those with their roots still intact, are popular among eco-conscious holiday enthusiasts. That’s because living trees can be promptly planted after they’ve served their purpose indoors. Opt for a moderately sized tree, as root balls on larger trees can be heavy and difficult to move. Living trees can typically be kept indoors for around seven to 10 days before they will need to be returned outside. Move such trees to a sheltered outdoor area for one to two weeks so they can reacclimate to the climate. So long as the ground is not frozen, trees can then be planted when the reacclimation period ends. Better Homes and Gardens suggests selecting a mild day to plant the tree. Page 7

ARE POINSETTIAS POISONOUS? The National Capital Poison Center notes that, in most cases, exposure to any part of a poinsettia plant in children or pets has little, if any, effect. However, if the plant is swallowed, some people and pets may experience symptoms including nausea, vomiting or diarrhea. Some who touch the plant may develop a rash after contact. While poinsettias are not deadly, the NCPC still advises those who plant to include the plant in their holiday decor to take every measure necessary to prevent children and pets from swallowing it. Placing poinsettias beyond the reach of kids and pets is one simple way to accomplish just that.

That might mean skipping a six-foot Christmas tree in favor of one that takes up less space. TIPS FOR STAYING SAFE AND CONNECTED DURING A MOVE Members of:

(NAPSI) — Planning a move can be stressful, but planning a move in the midst of an unprecedented pandemic brings a new set of challenges. Stay safe and connected with some smart pre-move planning; here are some tips: Follow Approved Protocols — If you can’t postpone your move, take extra precautions before moving in to ensure your new place is clean. Follow general disinfecting guidelines set forth by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Among other surfaces, disinfect doors, door handles, bathrooms, kitchen appliances, countertops and—something many people don’t really think about—cabinet and doorknobs as well as light switches.

Gold Standard Publication

National Award Winning Paper

Safely Stay Connected — New work-from-home protocols and online schooling mean reliable Internet connectivity is more important than ever. Prior to your move, SmartMove can connect you to your local provider and help arrange new Touchless Installs that let you safely connect your tech services yourself. Cable companies deliver equipment with step-by-step activation information so you can set up your system on your own, or with support over the phone, online, through chat functionality or video tutorials. In most cases, no technician will need to enter your home. Keep in Touch & Maintain Daily Routines — You may be staying in more, but don’t forget to take a break from unpacking boxes. Use your new online connection to find delivery services to help stock your pantry and fridge and refill prescriptions. Your new house will feel more like home if you take time to watch your favorite shows, maintain your exercise program or explore online courses that can help you discover new talents or resume old hobbies. Don’t forget to connect with friends through group video chats or viewing parties—you can even take your friends and family on a virtual tour of your new place!

ELSIE’S STEWED APPLES

OPEN HOUSE THIS SUNDAY!

Serves 6 to 8 2 to 3 tablespoons unsalted butter 2 pounds apples, peeled, cored and cut into thick slices 1/2 cup honey, preferably sage honey 1/2 cup white wine Zest of 1 lemon Juice of 1 lemon Fresh sage sprigs for garnish 1. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the apples, turn the heat to high and sauté until they begin to brown on the edges, about 5 minutes. If some are getting too well done, remove them and place on a plate while the rest continue to cook, then return them to the skillet when all are done. 2. Reduce the heat to low and add the honey, wine, lemon zest, lemon juice, and 1/2 cup water. Cover and allow to cook until the apples are tender but still firm; you don’t want them to turn into applesauce. 3. Serve this in a bowl, tuck in a couple sprigs of fresh sage from your garden, and tell your guests all about sage honey.

PAW’S CORNER By Sam Mazzotta

Shaggy Dogs Aren’t Impervious to Cold Weather DEAR PAW’S CORNER: On my morning walks, I’ve noticed that someone in a house down the street puts their dog outside, tied to the porch railing, with only a pan of water. They stay out there all morning. Now that the weather has turned cold, I still see this dog tied up every morning outside. Even with a shaggy coat, the dog is shivering. What can I do to stop this? -- Francesca W., via email DEAR FRANCESCA: If this person isn’t someone you know, and you’re nervous about knocking on their door to talk to them about it, then contact the animal control department for your town, city or county. If you live in an area where there is no animal control unit, call the nearest shelter or Humane Society to make a report. In cold temperatures, even temps above freezing, dogs can suffer a cold injury. Their paws and noses -- any exposed skin -- are at risk for frostbite. Hypothermia can be deadly, or it can permanently impair their immune system and overall health. A thick coat doesn’t provide as much protection from the cold as one might think.

DID YOU KNOW? Thought they might be most often associated with dogs, ticks can affect cats as well. According to Blue Cross for Pets, cats are most likely to encounter ticks if they live near areas with lots of deer and sheep or in regions where other wildlife, such as hedgehogs and rabbits, are present. While ticks are active throughout the year, cats are most likely to encounter them between spring and autumn. That’s due in part to the climate during these seasons, which tends to be warmer and therefore more inviting to cats, compelling them to spend more time outdoors than they do in winter. Ticks, which are egg-shaped, are big enough to spot, so cat owners should conduct a careful examination of their cats’ fur each time they come into the house after spending time in the yard. Blue Cross for Pets notes that ticks feel like small bumps on a cat’s skin. Ticks are most likely to attach themselves to particular areas of a cat’s body. These areas include the head, neck, ears, and feet. Routine brushing, especially whenever cats come inside after time spent outdoors, can help cat owners spot and remove ticks from their cats. It’s important to recognize that indoor cats are not invulnerable to ticks, as other pets and humans can track ticks indoors. Periodic inspections and brushing of indoor cats’ can protect them from ticks and the diseases ticks carry. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER ● GVPENNYSAVER.COM 1-866-812-8111

Many cities have laws against leaving pets out in extreme cold or heat. And tying up a dog outside, even for a few hours, is also unacceptable. If no one else is saying anything about it, go ahead and make some noise by calling any organization that can help and finding out where you can go to make it happen even faster. Thank you for paying attention to and helping that dog out. Readers, have you dealt with a similar situation? Tell us about it at ask@pawscorner.com.

How to Distinguish Heart Disease Symptoms From Panic Attacks --DEAR DR. ROACH: How can you tell with at least a

OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES THAT ARE PERFECT FOR SENIORS Volunteering: Local environmental groups often sponsor cleanups at parks and waterfront attractions like beaches and lakes. Volunteering with such organizations is a great way to get outside and give back, and working with like-minded individuals can be a great way for seniors to meet new people. In addition, a national study sponsored by the Corporation for National and Community Service in 2019 found that 88 percent of Senior Corps volunteers who initially reported a lack of companionship reported a decrease in feelings of isolation after volunteering.

GIVING

THANKS

The Volunteers for Animals of Genesee County are so very grateful to all those in our community who have helped with our programs and fundraising activities. From the donors of goods and baskets for our raffles, to the businesses who have held fundraisers for our benefit, to those who have allowed us to hold the raffle at their business with the support of their staff - you have made an enormous and wonderful impact. The proceeds from these events have helped us to provide health and wellness care for countless Genesee County Shelter animals. To those who come out and support our events with generosity and goodwill – you are greatly appreciated. And to our many and tireless volunteers, thank you for your time, dedication and energy. Thanks not only for assisting at the Shelter and with animal care in our programs, but for your donations and help with the fundraisers as well. You are truly beyond compare. moderate degree of certainty that you might really have a heart or blood pressure problem, as opposed to just having an anxiety attack that is less serious? -- D.S. ANSWER: A panic attack is an abrupt change in mental state. They are usually unexpected, sometimes with or without identifiable triggers. Symptoms of a panic attack vary from person to person, but among the most common are feelings of heart palpitations; sweating; trembling or shaking; shortness of breath; chest pain or discomfort; dizziness; numbness or a “pins and needles” feeling; abdominal pain or nausea; feeling abnormally hot or cold; feeling detached from oneself or from reality; and a fear of dying, losing control or “going crazy.” Most of us have had some of these feelings from time to time, and some of these symptoms are identical to ones of heart disease, specifically of angina pectoris -- the classic symptom of poor blood flow to the heart. There are many conditions, both medical and psychiatric, that can cause these symptoms as well, so acquiring a moderate degree of certainty isn’t always easy. A very careful history exam helps. With chest pain due to heart disease, for example, symptoms are commonly brought on by exertion; whereas with a panic disorder, there might not be a trigger, or it may be triggered by psychological stress. Some people have highly specific triggers, such as open spaces or needles. Some people can trigger a panic attack just by worrying that they are going to have one. The time course of the symptoms can be very helpful. With a panic attack, the attack starts, and chest discomfort (for example) will then occur. In people with heart disease, chest discomfort starts, and then people will get anxious. I had a wise cardiology professor who told me to always consider heart disease even if a person’s history is suggestive of a panic attack. I generally check their blood pressure and order an electrocardiogram, blood testing (including thyroid tests) and sometimes other tests when considering the diagnosis of a panic attack. There is very effective treatment available for people with panic disorder (people with recurrent unexpected panic attacks that lead to avoidant behaviors), both through therapy and medication. But your question implies that being pretty sure of the diagnosis is wise before dismissing the possibility of cardiac disease or other medical diseases. *** Dr. Roach regrets that he is unable to answer individual questions, but will incorporate them in the column whenever possible. TOP TOOTHBRUSHING MISTAKES Over time we can slip into poor tooth-brushing habits without realizing we’re doing something wrong. Proper brushing takes more than simply doing it twice a day for two minutes. In fact, many people don’t realize that they’re not brushing long enough without using a timer, which can be kept in the bathroom. Wait at least 30 minutes after eating to brush, because enamel is weakest right after eating and brushing too soon can damage teeth. Brushing too hard is another mistake that can damage enamel. Brushing longer, not harder, is the best method. And less is more when it comes to toothpaste. Using more than a pea-sized amount can expose your teeth to too much fluoride and wear them down. Correctly performed home oral hygiene carried out on a daily basis

can be the deciding factor in keeping your mouth and teeth healthy. At BATAVIA FAMILY DENTAL, we’ll be happy to demonstrate good brushing and flossing techniques as well as inform you about products that we know will help you maintain a healthy smile between routine dental checkups. For an appointment for family dental care, please call us at 585.343.4246. Our full service dental office is conveniently located at 6 Batavia City Centre. We accept most insurances. P.S. Make sure you replace your toothbrush or toothbrush head every three to four months to keep the bristles new enough to properly clean your teeth.

HEEL SPUR SYNDROME/PLANTAR FASCIITIS is a common problem among people who are active. It starts as a dull intermittent pain in the heel and progresses to a sharp persistent pain. Classically, it is worse in the morning with the first few steps, after sitting, after standing or after walking. • Plantar fasciitis often begins with irritation and tearing of the fibrous band of tissue on the bottom of the foot, which may eventually result in the formation of a heel spur. • Contributing factors: Flat pronated feet, high arched feet, poor shoe support, increased age, sudden weight increase, increased activity level, family tendency. • 95% of our patients’ symptoms are resolved with conservative treatment, avoiding surgical intervention. • We also offer surgical procedures with the best post op success rates using Endoscopic Plantar Fasciotomy techniques (minimal incisions and scarring; often back in a shoe in 1 week).

There is great power in being a teacher. Teachers help grow and inspire the youth to become the best versions of themselves, whatever that may be or look like. They work hard each and every day even after the school bell rings. Now, more than ever, we need young people to enter the field of education. Future Teachers of America is an organization that helps future educators prepare for the classroom and become a part of a professional community. Here’s a Tip OK, I’ll say it: I love tradition, but sometimes I want to mix it up for Thanksgiving dinner. I keep the main dishes the same as they always are, but I add my drama in the details. For instance, mix your choice of herbs into a stick of softened butter. Using a plastic baggie with the corner cut off or a decorating bag, pipe the herbed butter onto a butter dish. Refrigerate and enjoy the oohs and ahs. -- JoAnn “In the week before Thanksgiving, have a leftovers day and get all those bits and pieces out of the refrigerator. It will make it easier to clean so you’ll have room for the turkey and the sides.” -- S.T. in South Carolina “For easier cooking, when making large holiday meals, simply choose two side dishes that can be oven cooked in the same amount of time at an average temperature. I like one or two that can be cooked in the microwave as well.” (c) 2023 King Features Synd., Inc.

When nurses go to work each day, many report to hospitals while others work at private practices. For others, a day at the office takes place at research labs. According to the online nursing resource Nurse.org, research nurses develop and implement studies to investigate and provide information on new medications, vaccinations and medical procedures. Research nurses, sometimes referred to as clinical nurse researchers or nurse researchers, typically have advanced degrees, and many first work as research assistants, clinical data collectors and/or clinical research monitors to gain some practical experience as they pursue or consider pursuing their degrees. Some research nurses even conduct independent research, though Nurse.org notes that such professionals need advanced degrees such as an MSN or Ph.D. to pursue such a path. More information about becoming a research nurse can be found at www.Nurse.org.

DID YOU KNOW? According to the Food Network, thawing a frozen turkey takes several days. The popular foodbased television channel says it can take roughly four to five days for a frozen 20-pound turkey to fully defrost. Thanksgiving hosts who plan to cook turkeys that weight more than 20 lbs. should afford their turkeys even more time to fully defrost. The Food Network also recommends that cooks who want their turkeys to have crisp skin leave the bird uncovered in the refrigerator overnight. The time it takes to cook a turkey depends on whether or not the bird was purchased fresh. The Food Network advises cooking fresh turkeys for 10 to 15 minutes per pound in a 350 F oven, while frozen turkeys need roughly 20 minutes per pound at 350 F. And while stuffing is a Thanksgiving Day staple, the Food Network recommends going easy with the stuffing. Turkeys that are not densely stuffed will cook more evenly than turkeys whose cavities are overflowing with stuffing.

Churchville Native Madison Willow Makes Her Mark in Los Angeles BY SUZIE WELLS

M

adison Willow, a rising star in the music and acting industry, has captivated audiences with her unique blend of talent, creativity, and infectious positivity. Her musical journey began at a young age, with her mother, Jerri Sparks, recounting stories of toddler Madison tinkering on the piano. Jerri reflects that Madison “grooved to music from utero,” and says, “I would come home from work and find her on the back deck with her guitar strumming or in the living room playing piano or hear her in her room on her keyboard or ukulele singing and playing... literally all day and night.” By the time Madison was 15, she mastered piano and taught herself to play the guitar and ukulele. Madison moved to LA when she graduated from ChurchvilleChili High School and hasn’t looked back. She says her journey has been “awesome, beautiful, chaotic, wild, and amazing all at the same time! I have always been a dreamer, and it has been surreal to see my dreams come true. I always think back to my younger self and think about how starstruck she would feel if she had known I was going to be chasing after my dreams like I am.” Madison fondly recalls crafting songs at home and taking the stage in school plays. However, one of her most cherished memories is the energy she felt when she first arrived in Los Angeles. It was a moment of pure excitement and potential she hopes to recapture. In her relatively short time on the West Coast, Madison has made a name for herself on Instagram @madisonwillowofficial, where she shares vocal and acoustic covers of pop songs. She has been featured on a variety of pop TV shows and music videos, and her filmography so far includes Fables for the Witching Hour, Hellarious, and The Baka. She’s over the moon excited about the release of her first song, “Make It Stop,” just a few weeks ago. She explains that her experiences with anxiety and overthinking inspired the song, and she wanted to create a track with an upbeat Madison Willow pop sound and a message that would resonate with listeners. In the melodic song, Madison reflects on “intrusive thoughts” that fill her head and make her wonder if it’s her “fault / A bad habit / Or something [she] was born with.”

The artist says the response to the song has been nothing short of astounding, and she says, “It’s been very sweet, and I am so thankful for everyone who has been supporting me.” Madison says life and dreams fuel her art. Wise beyond her years, she transforms negative and positive life experiences into art, creating “songs or art or videos that I would need, so I hope someone else is able to watch or listen and feel more seen.” Madison envisions a future filled with more music, delving into various genres while staying true to her pop roots. She also aspires to showcase her artistic talents more on the silver screen. She says she has goals of chart-topping streams, revenue, and accolades, but more importantly she wants to “enjoy the journey itself, so I try to put more emphasis on my day-to-day happiness as an entertainer.” Personally, she wants to travel and explore other cultures, and she’d like to conquer fears such as her love-hate relationship with the ocean. Beyond musical and acting pursuits, Madison loves to skateboard, run, and create with clay, paint, and beads, and even learn more about science. Madison says most important to her now are family, loved ones, and happiness. She tries to find happiness in all moments, not just waiting for the ‘big break’ to feel happy. Madison encourages, “You have to believe in yourself before anyone else does, and when moments come when you don’t believe in yourself, just keep your vision in mind – have goals for yourself but don’t get discouraged when things don’t turn out as planned. I think life has a funny way of working it all out.” Jerri gushes that Madison’s family and friends in Churchville are so proud of Madison for pursuing her dreams! With her boundless creativity and infectious spirit, Madison is poised to leave an indelible mark on the world of entertainment.

She invites us to “Take a walk in my world / You’d get lost in it.” Listeners naturally become entranced with the bubbly tones as lyrics declare that she “can’t stop overthinking – Stuck in a daydream / Avoiding my feeling / All my decisions / I’m stuck in my head / I’m alone / With my thoughts / And I can’t turn them off.” We can all relate to such feelings of overthinking and social anxiety that seem so normal today. Madison makes reflection on this normal human fragility palatable for the masses.

Backed by 164 years in the Memorial Business Woodside Granite Ind., Inc. STEPS INVOLVED WITH ESTATE PLANNING An aspect of estate planning concerns funeral arrangements. Many people prefer to make their own funeral and burial plans so that these heart-wrenching decisions do not fall on the shoulders of grieving family members. Funeral planning may include choosing a burial plot, selecting a casket, indicating cremation, and paying for everything in advance so there is no financial burden on surviving family members.

Veterans Day Livonia students wrote messages to Veterans which were displayed at the American Legion Post 283 luncheon after the 11am ceremony at Livonia Library. Nice speech CC. Thank you Stacey and Mike for bringing and setting out the sheets. Thank you to all the students for the messages and drawings, especially Abigail for the long, touching message with such beautiful handwriting! It was very much appreciated to honor the Veterans on Veterans Day!! God Bless everyone and God Bless America.

Grateful for huge hearts! Two weeks ago I posted a need in the “Give & Take” section for unused cards with envelopes to send to participants in our Catholic Charities of Buffalo older adult programs in Genesee, Orleans and Erie Counties. So many wanted to help and we want to say a HUGE THANK YOU! We received so many donations of cards that our storage area is at capacity! I apologize that I wasn’t able to individually respond to every call left as there were so many. Those whose cards weren’t able to be donated, please consider offering them to a skilled nursing facility or adult day program where they can be used to brighten the day of an older adult who may be spending their birthdays and holidays without those they love. The big hearts of people in our WNY community make us so proud to do the work we do to serve those in need.

Free School Supplies and Meals The budget for the [local school] District has been approved for 20232024, which includes supplies and free meals for all students. I had three children attend [local school] and had to purchase all their school supplies and meals. Now I’m a Senior Citizen on Social Security with a fixed income, and I should not have to pay for these free supplies and meals. Voters, compare your 2022 taxes with 2023 taxes. My school taxes have gone up 21%, yet Social Security only went up 3.2%. Why should Senior Citizens have to pay so much? We have already paid our share. The Superintendent and the School Board need to address this issue.

Plowing Fields Will farmers with tractors, especially big tractors, after leaving the field onto the roads, stop and move the huge chunks of mud left on the road. Some were over a foot and a half around. I saw numerous vehicles who had to maneuver around these. Oncoming traffic plus the damage to their vehicles could be serious. I went out with one other driver and cleared what we could off the driving surface. With all these home cameras, if something serious happens, I’m sure you would be responsible. Also, if you do, please don’t roll them down on homeowners lawns. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER ● GVPENNYSAVER.COM 1-866-812-8111

STAY SAFE WHEN SELLING YOUR CAR Millions of people across the globe sell their used vehicles each year, and many of those sales go smoothly. But selling to strangers carries some risk, and sellers must consider their safety when putting their vehicles up for sale. Arrange to meet prospective buyers in public. While it can be inconvenient to drive to a public place each time a prospective buyer expresses interest in your vehicle, sacrificing convenience for security is worth the extra effort. Many people would not invite strangers to their homes under typical circumstances, so it makes no sense to do so when selling a vehicle. If possible, invite buyers to meet you in the parking lot of your office. Or if the car you’re selling is not the car you drive to work each day, then arrange to meet with buyers in a mall or grocery store parking lot. Meet buyers with a buddy in tow. There’s safety in numbers, so bring a friend or family member along when meeting prospective buyers. Many buyers won’t pose a threat to sellers, but some may be criminals looking to steal a vehicle or cause harm to sellers who are complete strangers. Criminals are less likely to attack or take advantage of two or more people than one person. And should anything go wrong with a sale, having a witness around to back up your version of sale terms cannot hurt. Let prospective buyers know you want to see some identification. When prospective buyers respond to your ad, let them know you will want to see some valid photo identification before you allow them to take the car for a test drive. Letting prospective buyers know this in advance of meeting them can prevent an awkward, potentially confrontational situation when you meet in person. Don’t be afraid to turn away buyers who seem suspicious. While your goal might be to sell your vehicle as quickly as possible, don’t hesitate to turn away prospective buyers who make you feel uneasy. If they insist on seeing the vehicle, hang up the phone after informing them you intend to contact the authorities.

WHAT TO KNOW WHEN BUYING FROM A PRIVATE SELLER

AUTO SECTION

Be patient. Patience is a buyer’s ally when shopping for a pre-owned vehicle. Certified pre-owned vehicles at a local dealership have already been vetted and met certain standards to earn that designation, but buyers must do their own vetting when buying from private sellers. That requires patience as buyers peruse vehicle history reports provided by the seller (or gather them on their own) and don’t rush to buy cars that could ultimately prove to be lemons if they’re not vetted properly.

WAYS TO INCREASE PRODUCTIVITY AT WORK Write things down. A to-do list floating around in your head can become overwhelming. The physical task of writing things down and crossing items off the list one-by-one can help you sail through tasks effectively. If you’re a mobile person, jot the list down on the notes function of a smartphone or use a task app that syncs with calendar functions.
