With Sincere Appreciation and ank You
Sharon and the family of Scot Batzel would like to express our deepest gratitude for the outpouring of love, support, prayers, calls, cards, owers, and heartfelt expressions of sympathy.
Scot was a respected and hardworking individual who will be missed by many in the community. His spirit and skill in the auto body industry helped many in need for those unfortunate times. His honesty and guidance during the process was comforting and pleasurable. His Motto was: “It’s the collision shop of your choice when you wreck your vehicle! – It’s the law.”
A special thank you to his teams at Wilmot Cancer Center and Noyes Dialysis center for the care you gave to Scot during his illness. Also, a profound thanks to Kenny Rowe for the many trips to Geneseo for treatments and co ee afterwards on the way home. e laughter in the car was contagious as Kenny would tell Scot before treatments,“behave and no ghting or biting with others.”
Scot will be missed by all, but would want us all to live in the present and remember all the good memories he left with us.
Memorials may be in his memory to: e Wilmot Cancer Center and e Scot Batzel Scholarship fund - Sharon Wise, 2606 Lakeville Rd., Avon, NY 14414.
Fondly, Sharon, Bill, Beth, Colleen, Matt, and Ryan
~ Seneca
We may pity the poor soul who has consistent bad luck but he has one advantage over his fellows who have had nothing but good fortune… he knows that he can survive the worst that fortune has in store for him.
A Roman philosopher of the first century, Seneca recognized this seeming paradox. The person upon whom fortune continually smiles is made unhappy by uncertainty. Never having been tested, he wonders how he would manage if his good luck changed to bad. It may help to keep this in mind when we experience a run of bad luck.
We have no “standard” service. Each family we serve has unique needs and we tailor our service to meet these. Our best references are from the families we have served.
