The family of Tanner James Hodges of Piffard, NY wish to express our heartfelt gratitude to all of our family, friends and community members who showed love and support to us during this time of loss. All of the hugs, flowers, food, cards, gifts and memorials are a tremendous help.
Special thank you goes out to all of the first responders. It is a comfort knowing Tanner touched so many people's lives and that we are not alone in our sorrow. We will always remember and be thankful for the outpouring of love from so many who care and share our heartache. The road ahead will not be easy but we will be trying hard to honor Tanner’s memory by living our best lives and paying forward all the kindness that we’ve received. Please keep us in your hearts and continue praying for brighter days.

JEFFREY “Je ” JACOBS age 59 of Leicester, NY, died Sunday, June 4, 2023 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was born the son of Donald and Angeline (Estruch) Jacobs Sr. on January 16, 1964 in Warsaw, NY. He graduated from York Central School in 1982. He trained and owned Harness Racing Horses for many years at Batavia Downs. He was a member of the US Trotting Association. Je was very athletic and loved his Atlanta Braves and Cleveland Browns.
He is survived by his loving mother, Angeline “Angie” Jacobs of Leicester; 3 brothers, Donald (Paula) Jacobs Jr. of Leicester, Timothy (Melissa) Jacobs of Fairport and Randy (Sally) Jacobs of York; many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear and loving friends including Jimmy Morrill Jr. He was predeceased by his father, Donald Jacobs Sr. in 2013.
