DID YOU KNOW? Charcoal grills can remain hot for hours, even long after the flames have extinguished. As a result, charcoal grill users should recognize that their jobs are not done once the burgers, hot dogs and other foods have been removed from the grill. To safeguard against fires resulting from still-hot charcoal grills, grillmasters should avoid moving the grill while the coals are still burning hot. In addition, avoid placing any flammable objects close to the grill while the coals are cooling down. Potentially combustible items should also be kept far away from charcoal grills, ideally in locations where gusts of wind cannot blow them toward the grill. Charcoal grill owners can also inspect the metal grates on their grills to make sure they are not rusted. Damaged or rusted grates can make it possible for items to fall down onto surfaces below the grate, increasing the risk of fire. Another way for charcoal grill users to make using their grills more safe is to avoid the use of starter fluid or other igniters once the coals have been ignited. Doing so only increases the risk of fire or accident and is unlikely to help the coals maintain a strong flame that lasts long enough to cook foods quickly.

Students who meet certain requirements may be eligible for scholarships. While academic or athletic skills are the first criteria associated with scholarships, they are not the only avenues by which students can pursue scholarships. Scholarships may be offered to students of certain ethnic groups; children of employees at particular companies; or to students who live in particular states. Local branches of organizations like the Rotary Club or Kiwanis also may give out scholarships.

HOW TO KEEP GRILLED FOODS WARM Create a tin foil tent and place foods inside. The tent can then be placed on a less hot area of the grill or placed into an oven that’s not on. Avoid tenting foods that are meant to have crispy skins, as tenting can moisten the skin. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER

HOW TO HEAL FROM MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES THAT AROSE DURING THE PANDEMIC Embrace healthy behaviors. During the pandemic, many individuals, even those devoted to healthy living prior to 2020, found it difficult to continue engaging in behaviors and activities that promoted their overall health. Embracing these behaviors, which can include eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly and getting sufficient sleep, improves individuals’ ability to cope with stress. Re-establishing old routines also can return a sense of structure to daily life that might have gone missing over the last two years.

Beat the heat during a summer wedding Tailor the reception menu to the weather. A large, heavy meal may not be what guests are hoping for when temperatures are especially hot. In such situations, provide some cool, light fare, such as chilled salads or cold soups, as first courses. Sorbet can be a cool palate cleanser, and grilled meats and vegetables will make for a satisfying, light main course. Ice cream cake may be a decadent option in lieu of more traditional wedding cake.

VISION GREATLY AFFECTS DRIVING ABILITY ........................... Steve Harrison Vice President
................... Kimberly Dougherty General Manager
...........................Manuel Karam Director of Advertising Sales
............................ Colleen Mann
Driving is a multisensory experience that requires careful coordination and mastery of a wide array of skills. Understanding the rules of the road and having sufficient practice are only part of the equation. Being able to see the road and react to obstacles, signage and more is crucial. Drivers should not downplay the importance of visual acuity when they turn their ignition keys. Acceptable vision is involved in all components of driving. Motor vehicle operators need to have clear vision to read gauges and operate the controls of the car. Distance vision also is essential to identifying road hazards and seeing other cars on the road. The health resource All About Vision says aging and visual changes at any age can affect a person’s ability to see moving objects while one is in motion - as is the case while driving a car or truck. In addition, changes in peripheral vision can increase blind spots while driving and affect reaction time. Many motor vehicle agency vision tests do not take into consideration all of the factors that can impact vision while driving. Seeking care for visual problems and changing driving habits when necessary can help people stay safe on the road.

Prevent summer sun and heat damage to your car Clean out your “stuff.” The heat can cause items inside vehicles to melt or explode. Depending on the product, a lot of staining or damage can occur if items melt or explode inside a car. Wax-based products can be particularly harmful. Be wary of leaving lipstick, crayons, candles, lip balms, sunscreen, and lotions inside vehicles on hot days. In addition, remove canned carbonated beverages and other canned items to reduce likelihood of spills.

Foods at farmers’ markets tend to be limited to in-season offerings. Some nutritionists suggest eating seasonally available foods is better for your body, because humans ate seasonal produce for thousands of years before shipping and refrigeration changed how people received the majority of their foods. In addition, many people feel that fresh, seasonal foods taste better than the alternatives.

COMMON GRILLING MISTAKES Forgetting to preheat: Preheating the grill ensures that foods will cook quickly and as evenly as possible. Otherwise, meats can lose moisture and even stick to cooler grates. Reader’s Digest suggests preheating to between 350 F and 450 F depending on the food. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER

A person 'leaving a penny' is spreading good vibes all around, while someone 'taking a penny' is benefiting from another's goodwill. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER

Keeping Our Promise: More than a Mission Part II BY AMANDA DUDEK
K
eeping Our Promise (KOP), the most comprehensive resettlement program for Afghan, Iraqi and Kurdish interpreters and support personnel in the United States today, is a Rochester-based program which assists with initial visa applications under the Special Immigrant Visa (SIV) Program. KOP Executive Director Ellen Smith and KOP Assistant Executive Director Laurel Prothero continue the struggle to not only bring these individuals and families to safety, but also to help them resettle with a solid foundation on which to successfully rebuild their lives. After all the families have endured, it cannot be easy. The work they did, even being associated with the United States or the former Afghan government, put them in danger. When American troops were withdrawn, the more progressive government fell. “The pace at which everything happened was very quick,” said Laurel. “The families didn’t have time to adjust or make other arrangements.” Ellen agreed. “All the sudden, the president left,” she explained. “Those associated with his government knew they had to try to get out.” Muzafar* worked with the Afghan Supreme Court, creating a docket system and working for women’s and children’s legal rights in Afghanistan. For this, of course, he would be targeted by the Taliban. His wife was educated, as well. She went to dental school in Turkey and came back as a dentist. If they had stayed, he probably would have lost his life, both because of his job with the Afghan government and because he was fighting the very things the Taliban supported. KOP helped bring Muzafar and his wife to safety in the United States. KOP first connected with Vares* in 2019. On the day Kabul fell, Vares was still at work. “He messaged me and said, ‘I am being left behind,’” said Ellen. “I told him, ‘I need all of your American contacts immediately.’ I called this retired army colonel, and I said, ‘You don’t know me, and this might sound crazy, but I need a letter of recommendation to get this man out of the country.’” Vares had worked with the United States, then for Mercy Corps before going to work for the Afghan government. He had 17 ex-military people supporting him, and it was clear how much his service meant to them. Thanks to KOP, Vares and his family have been welcomed to safety. Dalir* was a TV anchor. When KOP brought him safely to the United States, his goal was to continue to work in media. He took a job indirectly related to media at first and continued to work towards his dream. “He was very focused; one of the most persistent people I’ve met in a lot of ways, and he just really made it happen,” said Laurel. Now, Dalir is working for a local TV station. “His coworkers seem to love him, and he is very passionate about his work,” she continued. “It is amazing to see someone’s dream come true, to see how the supports we provide set them up to achieve.” Unfortunately, there are still thousands of individuals and families waiting to leave Afghanistan. Tareq* worked for an army captain who was from south of Rochester. Tareq was a journalist and was present during an airport bombing. The army captain called Ellen. “I had to get clothing descriptions for everyone in his family because I had to describe everything to identify them,” she recalled. “I even had them wave a brightly colored piece of clothing.” Unfortunately, Tareq’s passport was expired, and his father and youngest child did not have a passport. Now, finally, Tareq’s family all have their passports so they can travel to Qatar. They are still waiting in Afghanistan.

“Our Afghan families are stuck,” said Ellen. One Afghan gentleman told KOP, “It is really bad, worse than you can imagine. My family is fine, but the Taliban is now ordering young women to marry their fighters.” “I found the news article,” confirmed Ellen. “What do you say to that?” KOP plans to continue its efforts. “We rely on private donors to do what we are doing,” said Ellen. “The goal is to give these people a foundation through caring circles, a phone, a computer, eventually Wheels to Work. The issues are complicated. We can’t turn back time, but we can help these families.” “Our next steps will continue to be helping these people to come to this resettlement project in Rochester, creating continued support through community and policy, and to continue to bring the Afghans into our volunteering process,” added Laurel. There are many ways to support KOP, from helping with donation pickups to fixing furniture to participating in Caring Circles to donating funds or necessary home furnishings. KOP also encourages readers to call their Congress members, asking them to support the Afghan Adjustment Act which would allow certain Afghan evacuees to apply for permanent status after one year of being paroled into the U.S. Supporting these evacuees is the least we can do. “They are good people,” said Ellen. “They are coming in with skill sets and ready to work. They are running the clock all the way around, trying to rebuild their lives and take care of their families.”
“They lost their families, their country, and risked their lives.”
“They lost their families, their country, and risked their lives,” said Laurel, noting that U. S. military members are KOP’s biggest allies. “These people kept the United States safe, informed, and engaged. There is nothing more patriotic than helping them.” *Names have been changed for privacy. Enjoy this article? Check out this week’s other great stories online at www.gvpennysaver.com: • •

How to protect your pets from extreme heat Learn to recognize the signs of heatstroke. Pets suffering from heatstroke will exhibit certain symptoms, and pet owners who learn to recognize those symptoms can do something about them before it’s too late. Heavy panting, glazed eyes, rapid heartbeat, difficulty breathing, excessive thirst, and lack of coordination are just a few potential indicators that a pet is suffering from heatstroke. Animals that are very old, very young, overweight, and unaccustomed to prolonged exercise, as well as those who have heart or respiratory conditions, are especially susceptible to heatstroke. Learn more about pets and heatstroke at www.humanesociety.org.
Hi! I’m
Kiki! I was rescued 2 weeks ago and am settling into my new home. I love the window sill, being petted, and stealing pens.
Send us a photo and brief write-up of your pet and we’ll feature it. Email to: sales@gvpennysaver.com or mail to: P.O. Box 340, Avon, NY 14414. Pets will be published at discretion of GVPS.
A BIG PERSONALITY IN A SMALL PACKAGE Typical bird care: Parrotlets, like other small birds, should stay in an environment with a consistent temperature and away from drafts. Cages should not be placed in direct sunlight, and the birds do better in square or rectangular cages. Seed for small birds as well as fresh vegetable and fruit offerings are tolerated. Check with a veterinarian or bird expert as to which fresh foods are acceptable.
PAW’S CORNER By Sam Mazzotta
Summer Heat Can be Deadly to Pets DEAR PAW’S CORNER: Yesterday, our beloved corgi mix, Shemp, was laid to rest. I feel so guilty. He passed from heatstroke after being out in the backyard for just one hour. I never realized that just the heat outdoors could be deadly to dogs. I always was conscientious about dangerous situations; I never once left Shemp in a hot car or walked him on hot sidewalks. Yet a few minutes of inattention, and my Shemp was suddenly in great distress. I rushed him to the veterinarian, but he just didn’t make it. Please warn your readers to keep their dogs inside on hot days and to monitor them closely for signs of heat stress. -- Devastated in Houston Dear Devastated: I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Shemp. Thank you for warning other readers of the dangers of summer heat. Being outdoors during the extreme temperatures that we’ve experienced this summer, often passing 100 degrees in many states, is dangerous for dogs and other pets. Here are a few ways to keep them safe from heat injury. -- Walk dogs before sunrise and after sunset. Under a hot sun, sidewalks can quickly burn a dog’s paws, and heat and humidity can take a toll on their health. -- Do not leave pets outside unsupervised. Even if they’re just in the backyard, you might not notice their distress until it’s too late. -- Provide a shelter from the sun. A shelter with open sides and a solid top allows airflow and protects from the sun when your dog is outside. -- Make water available all day, everywhere. Carry water on walks, keep their indoor bowl full and provide a water bowl outside. (c) 2022 King Features Synd., Inc.

Started many years ago to help low-income individuals with their phone costs, it’s been expanded to include internet at home, offering a $9.25 monthly discount. That $9.25 savings doesn’t sound like much, but if you’re like me, nowadays, you’re converting every dollar saved into food. That $9.25, for example, could turn into a loaf of bread and a gallon of milk, or even a pound of ground beef, a package of hamburgers buns and most of a can of beans. You’ll need to qualify for Lifeline. One way you do that is if you (or anyone in your household) receive benefits from Supplemental Security Income, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families, veterans pensions, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, Medicaid and others, or through having verifiable low income. (You’ll need paperwork to prove it.) You can sign up in a number of ways, such as by mail or online at nv.fcc. gov/lifeline. Scroll through the information on that page. Call 800-2349473 for more information or to ask that an application be sent to you by mail. But there’s more. In addition, if you qualify for Lifeline, you likely also qualify for an even bigger assistance: the Affordable Connectivity Program. ACP is new and can give you a $30 monthly discount on your internet. Once you’re in the Lifeline program, call your internet provider and enroll in ACP with them. There’s no need to fill out another application. There are hundreds of internet providers that are part of the program, including some big names like Xfinity, AT&T and Spectrum. In some cases, that $30 gets you internet without you having to pay anything additional. In other words, free internet. Get the details from your internet provider. For a list of providers by state, go to www.fcc.gov/affordable-connectivity-program-providers. Get more information on the Affordable Connectivity Program at www.fcc.gov/acp or call 877-384-2575. RAVES Big Thank You A big thank you to the civic minded person who gave money for a new American flag! We are looking good at Little Lakes Community Center! Thanks to the person who donated money for our new flag and the landscape volunteers who spread 75 bags of mulch and cleaned up the flower beds! Thanks for the dog bags! Thank you to the person that put dog poop bags on my porch with a note. I must’ve missed one while walking more than one dog! Sorry if my pup ruined your green grass. I know how much you love dogs! Livingston Murals Not only do I enjoy seeing all the new murals when driving into work, but love the uniqueness behind each design and that they are all painted by local aspiring muralists. I hope to stop by them all sometime soon.
Pedestrian Crosswalks I think it’s time for some driver education. Drivers don’t seem to know that pedestrians have the right of way at these crosswalks. I watched a little boy on [local road] trying to cross at a marked crosswalk at this intersection. Nobody stopped to let him cross. I was waiting to make a right turn onto [local road], waiting until this little boy safely crossed. The driver behind me was honking angrily. Finally, an adult male came to his rescue and made sure he crossed safely. I see this law being broken all the time. Disrespect I do not understand the disrespect in today’s world. My husband was not a Veteran, but he was always very patriotic. He passed away a few years ago. He loved pinwheels, seeing them blowing in the wind. I found a large 16” red, white, and blue pinwheel with white polka dots, which was 36” tall and placed it at his grave for the last two years. It did not cost a lot of money but was worth millions in memories to my family. It disappeared! There was no windstorm to pull it 10” out of the ground and blow it away. And nothing else in the whole cemetery was disturbed. So, I know someone took it! I hope every time you look at it you remember where you got it and how you got it. Such disrespect stealing from a grave! We all share the Canal! We always love seeing other boats enjoying the Canal when we kayak from [local town] to [local town] and back, but we would appreciate it if power boaters slowed down when passing smaller boats and when approaching wildlife, like groups of ducks and geese, and especially those with young. What’s the rush? Slow down, enjoy the scenery, and you’ll be surprised at all of the amazing things you’ll see. We all share the Canal. Please be respectful.
Festivals are back! I love seeing all the festivals and events happening again! Of course, I understand the risk of covid-19 is still here and we should take precautions. Even if I don’t go to the events I love that we are getting back to fun this summer! From the Oatka Festival in LeRoy, to the Dansville Balloon Festival to the West Sparta OldFashioned Day and everything in-between! Disc Golf Course A few years back, the town I live in installed in a disc golf course and I cannot tell you how much we enjoy it and use it. Thank you to everyone that had a part in that. I know my family appreciates it!

Gift Auctions Can Successfully Raise Funds Gift auctions are a fun way to raise money for good causes. Organizing a gift auction requires a team of dedicated volunteers. * Establish the event date and venue. Before any gifts can be collected, set the date for the auction and secure a location. The location should be large enough to display all of the prizes. A school gymnasium or the party room of a firehouse or fraternal lodge may suffice. The date and time should be convenient for adult participants, as gift auctions are often to events that cater to adults. * Enlist day-of-event volunteers. Volunteers willing to work during the event can carry the prizes to the winning bidders and answer any questions guests might have throughout the auction. GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER

They work well initially; then the deer get used to

Smart watering conserves water and saves money Start early. Homeowners may feel that the hottest times of the day are when lawns and gardens will be most in need of water, so that’s the best time to set sprinklers or grab the hose and get to work. But in many areas, watering between the hours of 11 a.m. and 3 p.m., when summer temperatures tend to peak, can be both wasteful and ineffective. That’s because watering between those hours will cause much of the water to quickly evaporate, robbing lawns and gardens of the water they need to withstand the heat. Homeowners who water when water is most likely to evaporate may feel they need to water more, and that only wastes water. It’s best to consult a local landscaping professional in your area to determine the best time to water each day, but in many regions the best time to water is between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m., when temperatures are generally lower, the sun is not at its peak and winds are not as strong.

Homeowners often choose to save money and learn valuable skills by doing their own home improvement projects. These minor or major renovations are made much more successful by having the right tools for the job. Investing in good tools can be smart, but those tools are only effective if they are accessible and in good repair. Homeowners who emphasize taking care of their tools can make DIY projects that much easier and more rewarding.

HOW TO STAY SAFE ON DIY PROJECTS Make sure you choose the right ladder. DIYers may spend ample time shopping for drills and other electronic tools and gadgets that are fun to use. But ample time also must be afforded to the type of ladder you intend to use on a project. Estimates from the West Bend Insurance Company indicate that roughly 90,000 people visit the emergency room due to ladder accidents each year. Never use a broken ladder or an aging ladder that’s uneven. In addition, do not use a ladder that forces you to reach far away. If you’re leaning while using a ladder, the ladder is either too short for your project or positioned too far away from the wall. The National Home Security Alliance advises DIYers to place their ladder one foot from the wall for every four feet it rises above the ground. Test your ladders for their sturdiness prior to beginning work so you aren’t tempted to use a subpar ladder.

Then tape the bottom so that all the pleats are held together. Next, feed the skirt into a leg of pantyhose with the foot cut off. You end up with a nice tube, which you can tuck into the sides of your luggage. * When traveling for more than a few days, stick your plants into the bathtub with a little bit of water. HOW EVERYDAY CITIZENS CAN PROTECT LOCAL PARKS Leave nothing behind. Memories are not the only things park visitors should take with them when they leave the park. Estimates suggest that as much as 100 million pounds of garbage are generated at California’s Yosemite National Park each year. Significant damage can result if even a tiny fraction of that garbage is left behind. In addition, park officials forced to expend their limited resources on garbage pickup may not have enough resources left to address other issues, further threatening the park. Whether you’re hiking or camping, make sure everything you take into the park comes with you when you leave. If you have trash, make sure it’s deposited into the appropriate receptacles.

TO YOUR GOOD HEALTH By Keith Roach, M.D.

Smoking, Symptoms Biggest Factors in COPD Prognosis
Discover the Human Touch in Hearing Technology
---
Accepting New Patients.
DEAR DR. ROACH: I was diagnosed with COPD a year and a half ago. I seem to be unable to get answers from my pulmonary doctor, as he is always busy. How fast does COPD progress? I’m 78 years old, I’m in reasonably good health, and I exercise regularly. I have chronic bronchitis with a slight amount of emphysema. I had been coughing a little during the day, had mucus in the morning and coughed at night for two to three hours after bedtime -- to the extent of having to use a rescue inhaler to settle down and get back to sleep. After he put me on Trelegy, all of those symptoms disappeared, and I feel perfectly normal except for shortness of breath. My other question is, what is the life expectancy of a person diagnosed with COPD? I’ve read answers to this all over the map, from two or three years after diagnosis to 15 or more years. I would presume that it depends on other factors such as physical condition, exercise, weight, etc. I would like some kind of guideline for someone in my condition. -- T.J. ANSWER: There are two major types of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease: chronic bronchitis, where the primary problem is productive cough; and emphysema, which is destruction of the small airways. Shortness of breath is a common feature of all types of COPD. The most prevalent cause is smoking. I can’t answer your questions on rate of progression and overall prognosis without much more information, but it is certainly a good sign that many of your symptoms are well-controlled on treatment. The single biggest factor in rate of progression of COPD is whether you are a smoker, but not being able to exercise, being male and being very underweight are additional risk factors for faster progression. In someone with COPD, the decline over months to years can cause symptoms to occur first with exercise, and then when at rest. Once people have severe symptoms at rest, the prognosis becomes quite poor. No medication can reverse lung damage. Inhaled steroids reduce inflammation and can slow progression somewhat. Inhaled bronchodilators open airways and make breathing easier. Inhaled anticholinergics reduce secretions. Trelegy contains all of these medicines and is appropriate for people with severe COPD or those who do not have good symptom control with a less intensive regimen. ***
Dr. Roach regrets that he is unable to answer individual questions, but will incorporate them in the column whenever possible. Readers may email questions to ToYourGoodHealth@med.cornell.edu. © 2022 North America Synd., Inc. All Rights Reserved GENESEE VALLEY PENNY SAVER

Summer health and beauty guidelines Get a healthier glow. Many people equate health and vitality to tan skin. However, spending time outdoors in the sun or using indoor tanning beds that expose you to UV rays can increase your risk of skin cancer, including dangerous melanoma. The American Cancer Society says melanoma will account for more than 73,000 cases of invasive skin cancer in 2015. Melanoma accounts for more than 9,900 of the roughly 13,000 skin cancer deaths each year. Sunless tanners and bronzers can give skin that sun-kissed look without the downside of exposure to UV rays. Those who must go out in the sun should wear a wide-brimmed hat and limit their exposure between the hours of 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., when the sun’s rays are at their strongest.

CHOOSING AN ELECTRIC TOOTHBRUSH Many electric toothbrush models provide a deeper clean than manual ones. Choosing an electric toothbrush is, in some ways, much like choosing a manual toothbrush: the head size should be small enough to reach your back teeth, the bristles should be soft and contoured instead of hard and straight, and the handle should provide a firm grip. But when it comes to head and bristle vibration, an oscillating motion is best. Bristles that simply vibrate provide no benefit over a manual toothbrush. Another feature to look for is a range of settings, such as different cleaning modes, a pressure censor, and a self-timer. Without these personalized settings, electric toothbrush oscillations may feel uncomfortable or even painful.
can do it with a modest amount of time invested daily in brushing and flossing. Keeping up with home dental care as well as scheduling periodic cleanings and wellness exams are two important steps toward accomplishing the goal of a healthy mouth. For full-service dental care for all members of your family, please call 585.343.4246 for an appointment at BATAVIA FAMILY DENTAL. Our office is located at 6 Batavia City Centre. We accept most insurances. We’ll give you a reason to smile! P.S.. If you use a battery-powered toothbrush, be sure to change the batteries often or whenever you notice the oscillations begin to slow.

WAYS ESTABLISHED PROFESSIONALS CAN IMPROVE THEIR RÉSUMÉS It’s important to optimize a résumé for digital scanning, which has become a major component of the employment sector. This includes using the correct keywords and phrasing so that your résumé will get “flagged.” Take your cue from the job advertisements themselves and mimic the verbiage used. Replace the lingo accordingly, tailoring it to each job you apply for. Also, consult the “about us” area of a prospective employer’s website. This area may offer clues about buzz words for the industry.

STEPS TO LEAVE A JOB GRACEFULLY Deciding to leave a job is seldom an easy decision. However, it’s a more common decision than many people may know, as the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics indicates the average worker holds 10 different jobs before age 40. People change jobs for a variety of reasons. Some do so because of better opportunities elsewhere, while others simply need a change. Regardless of what’s motivating a job change, leaving a place of employment can elicit various emotions, including some that may contribute to negative thoughts about a current employer. But it’s always best to leave a job gracefully, which can pay dividends down the road.

BE SAFE, HEALTHY AND HAPPY IN THE WORKPLACE WHILE PREGNANT Under the Family and Medical Leave Act, women in the United States are entitled to 12 weeks maternity leave. Women can choose to use a portion of that maternity leave even before their children are born if physical limitations are making it challenging for them to continue working. Women should put their health and the safety of their unborn children ahead of their responsibilities at work. In addition, women should not hesitate to speak with their employers about their comfort levels while pregnant. If an issue arises, speak with your boss, who deserves the benefit of the doubt. In some instances, breastfeeding also is protected by law at job sites or at the office. It is best for women to familiarize themselves with breastfeeding policies ahead of time so they can make the proper accommodations. Pregnant women should discuss with their doctors which work activities are permissable and which should be avoided at particular times in the pregnancy. Every effort should be made to avoid toxic substances, and pregnant women should not lift heavy items or engage in any potentially risky physical activity. HOLY SPIRIT, You who solve all problems, who lights all roads, so that I can obtain our goals. You have given us the divine gift to forgive all evils against me. I want, in this short prayer, to thank you for all things and to confirm once again, that I never want to be separated from you, even in spite of all material illusions. I wish to be with you in eternal glory. Thank you for your mercy to me and mine. Say for 3 consecutive days, after 3rd day, favor will be granted. This prayer must be published without mention of the favor. Thank you Holy Spirit. BT
