Dr. Carey was born and raised in London, Ontario, Canada. She completed her undergraduate education at McGill University and developed a passion for medicine while working as a medical device sales consultant. Kate went on to complete her Medical Degree and Master’s in Public Health at Boston University School of Medicine in 2017. roughout her residency, she was awarded the Clay Award (2017) for having outstanding skills as a teacher and being a compassionate physician, the MFM Award for Excellence in Obstetrics (2020), the Gilford Wilson Award for Compassionate Patient Care (2020), e Dr. Ward L. Ekas for Outstanding Chief Resident (2021) and e Gilford W. Wilson Award for Compassionate Patient Care. She is thrilled to be joining Genesee Valley Ob/Gyn to continue working alongside her residency mentors.
