David E. Reed

David E. Reed of Byron, NY and Hudson, Florida died May 17, 2023 a er a long illness at the age of 77. Dave was born March 23, 1946 in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Beverly Reed, three children, Sheryl, Rick, and Rob, 9 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, sister, Pat Witt, many nieces and nephews, and many dear friends.

Dave was a proud Vietnam Veteran. He served in the US Marine Corps from 1963 to 1967. He was past Captain in the Brockport Fire Department. In 1976 he was named Western New York Fireman of the year for pulling a fellow re ghter from a burning building.

Dave was an avid sherman and enjoyed spending summers at Southwoods RV Resort in Byron, NY.

A celebration of his life will be held on June 17, 2023 from 1-4 pm at the Southwoods RV Resort Rec Hall, 6749 Townline Rd, Byron, NY 14422.
