CHRISTMAS DISBURSEMENTS
On December 6 & 7 the Gwa’sala’Nakwaxda’xw Christmas Disbursement Cheques will be handed out to Gwa’sala-’Nakwaxda’xw Band Members at the Wa’kas Hall. These disbursements are a result of our Specific Claim settlement of 2008. The details of how it works are in the Trust Agreement. Gwa’sala’Nakwaxda’xw community members can get a copy of the Trust Agreement from Les Taylor. If you have questions about the disbursments, please contact the Gwa’sala-’Nakwaxda’xw Trust board members (Ernie Henderson, Robert Walkus, Terry Walkus, Crystal Walkus, Victor Walkus, Eddie Charlie, Gary Walkus and Paddy Walkus) or Gwa’sala-’Nakwaxda’xw Membership Clerk, Sandra Charlie. 1
