A message from your new CCP coordinator 03/07/2015
July 3, 2015
Hello everyone. My name is Katrina Johnny and I will be your new Comprehensive Community Planning (CCP) coordinator. We currently have a comprehensive community plan that was made up in 2010, but it has been 5 years now and it is time to update our plan. In case some of you are unfamiliar with what the CCP is, I will break it down for you. Comprehensive means that it will cover all areas such as, health issues, education issues, lands and resources, cultural issues and economic issues. Community means that this plan will be made by the entire community as a whole. Every member of our community has a chance to come out and voice their own ideas on what they want to see happen in our community. Planning ensures that we will make good decisions together that will benefit our community for now and for the future. To successfully come up with a good plan I need everyone’s help. Every G-N member, young or old, on or off reserve has the right to help with this plan. I encourage you all to get involved, come on out to our meetings we will be having in the near future, bring your whole family! I hope to be connecting with you all PAGE 1
