JOB POSTING: JUNIOR GUARDIAN WATCHMEN The Gwa’sala-’Nakwaxda’xw Nations is pleased to offer two (2) full time Junior Guardian Watchmen positions for the summer of 2011(July & August). The successful candidates will be people who have shown an aptitude toward and awareness of the current Guardian Watchmen program. The successful candidates WILL BE REGISTERED AND ATTENDING HIGH SCHOOL OR POSTSECONDARY SCHOOL and will be open to the required training and willing to continually learn in their positions. SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES SHOULD HAVE THE FOLLOWING;  Willingness to learn  Proven punctuality and reliability  Open mind to new/different situations  No alcohol or drug issues ADDITIONAL TRAINING THAT MAY BE CONSIDERED;  Any accredited boat operating certificate  Biology, oceanography, forestry, fishery certificates or diplomas Guardians must be willing to be away from home for days at a time, living in cramped conditions in potentially inhospitable areas.
