KEDC unveiled their renovation plans for Kwa’lilas Hotel to the community on Monday this week. KEDC bought the building formerly known as the Port Hardy Inn earlier this year and is now working to transform the 80 room hotel to be a unique place to share our history, culture and passion for our territory. Our own artists will be helping by creating beautiful work for the space. Our own K’awat’si Construction Company will be doing the renos and we expect that Kwa’lilas Hotel will be open for business in Spring 2016. We are excited to share some photos with you of what the new space will look like and of the Grand Unveiling of the plans that took place on Monday.
