Diane Oliver-Page Hairston Reverend Dr. Diane Oliver-Page Hairston, is the pastor of “Keep It Real Ministries Detroit” (KIRM). In 2004, The Ministry began out of the need to support grieving adults through the loss of a loved one. Dr. Oliver-Page Hairston saw the need and heard the cry of those wrapped in emotional pain and heartache. There were no accessible programs in the city of Detroit for grieving adults. Dr. Oliver-Page Hairston, created the ministry “Grief Relief,” in 2004. The ministry is designed to help the grief process to be less complicated. To date, “Grief Relief” has facilitated over 100 people through the grief process. In 2005, Dr. Oliver-Page Hairston, accepted the formal call to serve and became licensed as one of God’s servant/preachers. In 2009, through a Pastoral Committee, she was examined and ordained; allowing her to Pastor, and perform weddings and funeral services as dictated by the State of Michigan. Also, in 2009, God led the ministry to teach His word; therefore, putting the “bible class,” Sharing the Word of God in place; and sharing is what is done. Her educational background includes earning a Bachelor and Masters of Social Work degrees from Wayne State University. She is licensed to provide counseling/therapy service by the State of Michigan. Dr. Oliver-Page Hairston also earned the degree, Doctor of Ministry (DMIN) at the Ecumenical Theology Seminary (ETS), specializing in mental illness. In 2015, our first year the doors of the “Keep it Real Ministries Christian Center (CC) were opened. God called us to meet every fifth Sunday of the year. Rebecca L. Page and Kaicee L. Page are first members. Sister Page agreed to perform the duties of Minster of Music. Kaicee followed, agreeing to sing praises to God, as seen from the spirit of a child. Cecelia Revis (CeCe), is our first member to unite formally with (CC). Our membership is moving as the Spirit moves us to do so. Teraye Revis was the first to be baptized in October, 2016. In addition, KIRMCC began to serve the people of God (residents) of Omni Continuing Care of Detroit every third (3rd) Sunday of the month. Although Reverend Oliver-Page Hairston continues to complete educational achievements, she proclaims that her greatest achievements thus far are her family. Reverend Oliver-Page Hairston is the wife of Mr. Curtis N. Hairston, and mother to two daughters, Chevelle and Rebecca, and, grandmother (Blookley) to Kaicee. Books Can Be Purchased On:

KEEP THE FAITH UNTIL YOU BEHOLD By Contributing Writer, Tafadwza Mazibuko I had been called to fetch my products that were finished. Normally there is noise from the machines busy with production. The workers running up and down I guess in their minds busy working towards meeting their targets. On this day it was different there was silence and I even wondered whether I had come to the right company. After a while the person I was supposed to meet came with a faint smile on his face and he greeted me. “Oh I thought I was lost. Where is everyone?” I asked curiously. He answered after a few minutes as if he needed to think through his response. “Everyone is at home. I am the only one working because I needed to deliver your products. The company is not doing well so we do not have enough work to have everyone around. It is tough.” He sighed. He explained that because of lack of business which was mainly affected by Covid lockdown the owners of the company were neglecting it and focusing on other ventures. This was not good for the employees who were skilled to work at that particular company because that meant anytime they would come to work and be told that the company had closed. My mind took me to the closest mall to my home, I was thinking of how many shops had closed to date. Many businesses started the year with high hopes and looked forward to celebrating their achieved plans at the end of the year, however like the company I visited to fetch my products clearly the year was not as productive as anticipated. John Maxwell states,” Failed plans should not be interpreted as failed vision, Visions don’t change they are only refined. Plans rarely stay the same and are scrapped or adjusted as revealed. Be stubborn about the vison and flexible with your plan.” Being in business requires one to be very flexible and as the employee shared that the owners were focusing on other ventures. Being Flexible also includes developing multiple sources of income within your area of expertise. As a founder sometimes there is temptation to be narrow minded and hold on to a venture that is not being fruitful because you started it. Being Flexible is essential as one goes through the process in business. There are different seasons but those who pass through all seasons and come out victorious know that success without process will leave you unqualified to reign what you have built. It is the process that builds your stamina and your insight. Challenges are meant to build us and not break us if we hold on to our faith until we behold. As much as we have the bigger vision in our minds and on paper, beholding our vision unfolds as we pursue it sometimes painfully, sometimes exciting, sometimes confusing and sometimes lonely. Business woman fight the good fight of faith as you run the race until you behold.

Bre Smith is an Author of a Children Book Series called Bre’s Heavenly Adventures With Jesus. A book series that not only teaches youth about developing positive moral character, but it also teaches youth about the power of resiliency. Most of the series surround real life issues that plagued Bre growing up, such as dealing with parental rejection, bullying, grief, faith, family, identity, etc. Bre is also a co-author in the book called Let’s the Kingdompreneur’s Speak Vol. 1. Bre Smith is the CEO and Founder of Child Enrichment Solutions LLC an educational firm that specializes in creating youth curriculum (based upon her Bre’s Heavenly Adventures With Jesus Book Series) for parents, schools, and non-profit organizations to help youth build both Christ moral character as well as empower them to become resilient. In addition, Bre is also the Founder of AuthorPush Media Services, which was birthed out of wanting to help promote, advertise, and spotlight seasoned and aspiring minority authors. Lastly, Bre is the CEO and Founder of Bre Smith Global, a ministry that was birthed to help build, prepare, and empower believers to discover who they are in Christ and become mature in their spiritual walk. Bre graduated from the University of Louisville with her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology back in 2013. She recently received her Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Studies from the University of Richmond in May 2021. Bre has been featured on the front covers of Writer’s Life Magazine and AuthorPush Magazine. In addition, she has been spotlighted in Growth Women’s Business Networks Magazine, Wealthy Coach Magazine, and Speak For Wealth Magazine. She also has been a guest speaker for the Comeback Champion Summit as well as has a guest preacher for Watchman Ministries. Lastly, she has also been featured in CBS, NBC, and Fox News articles for her work in youth resiliency. Please introduce and the readers a little about yourself? Yes! My name is Bre Smith and I am a Serial Entrepreneur, |Prophet, Author, and TV Personality. I am the CEO and Founder of Authorpreneur Solutions LLC and Child Enrichment Solutions LLC. I graduated from the University of Louisville with my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology back in 2013. I recently received my Graduate Certificate in Non-Profit Studies from the University of Richmond. I am an Author of the "Bre’s Heavenly Adventures With Jesus Series." A book series that not only teaches youth about developing a positive moral character but also teaches youth about the power of resiliency. Most of the series surrounds real-life issues that plagued me growing up, such as dealing with parental rejection, bullying, grief, faith, family, identity, etc. Tell us about your children’s book series, “Bre’s Heavenly Adventures with Jesus: The True Meaning of Friendship.” Yes! This is the second book within my children’s book series. It follows the story of little Bre and her trying to make friends at school. However, little Bre has a “friend” who is always mean and picking on her. Which causes her to cry a lot. So, she decides to tell the teacher and pray to the Lord about her friend. The Lord is the moral compass who tells her what good friends are versus what a bully is and what to do when you come across a bully. You are one of the co-authors in the “Let the Kingdompreneurs Speak” anthology book. What is the “Let the Kingdompreneurs Speak” anthology book about and tell us about your chapter? The book is a resource for kingdom-based entrepreneurs and aspiring kingdom-based entrepreneurs to learn how to make passive income and set-up business systems to generate wealth. My particular chapter dealt with making a passive income based on writing children’s books, particularly how to find a children’s book illustrator. What advice would you give to someone who wants to become a published author? Firstly, I will say please do your research on a topic that has an engaged audience. Be sure to choose a problem where you have the solution to help solve it. I know most authors I meet just want to write 8

stories based upon their own testimonials and there is nothing wrong with that at all. However, I always tell authors to make sure the story that they tell actually provides the solution people are looking for, so that way they become the go to person in their particular industry or field. Secondly, I will say before you write your book, begin building your audience or following so that way when you launch your book you already have an interested group of people who are willing to buy from you immediately. I know tons of authors myself including those who go out write books and hope to get people to immediately purchase from us. However, people need to be able to trust what you’re saying and that what you are putting out is good quality. So, I definitely say get out there and start building a name for yourself and get you a following who will turn into loyal readers and consumers. Where can your books be purchased? All my books are available for purchase on amazon.com. Please check out the direct links below: Bre’s Heavenly Adventures The True Meaning Of Friendshiphttps://amzn.to/3GlCcix, Bre’s Heavenly Adventures The True Meaning of Unconditional Lovehttps://amzn.to/31ES8xi, Let The Kingdompreneurs Speak Vol. 1-https://amzn.to/31PgdBK Recently, you become the Founder/CEO of Author Push Magazine & Showcase? Congratulations, please tell the readers about your magazine. Thank you! Yes, so we created a magazine/media brand to help amplify minority authors voices. Our vision is to help build brand awareness of all minority authors throughout the world along with helping to showcase their products and services. If an author would like to be featured in the AuthorPush Magazine & Showcase where can they find out more about your magazine to be featured? Yes, please feel free to reach out to me at Authorpushshowcase@gmail.com for a copy of our media kit. My site (authorpreneursolutions.com) is currently in the process of being built, but will be going live starting Jan 1st, 2022. You are a woman who is changing the game of publicity and marketing within the Minority Indie Literary World. Also, through your work, you are building a media empire to help amplify minority authors' voices. Tell the readers about your mission and the reason you think it is so important to bring awareness to the minority authors in the Indie Literary World. Yes, so I have recently started my own media brand called AuthorPush Media Services. It consists of AuthorPush Digital Magazine, AuthorPush Talkshow, AuthorPush Radio, Let the Author’s Speak, etc. The mission behind the brand is to help promote, advertise, and spotlight seasoned and aspiring minority authors. We understand the importance of diversity in literature; therefore, we wanted to create a platform that helped to amplify minority authors' voices. The reason it’s important in the world is because a lot of times voices tend to be silenced or unheard due to the media being influenced and controlled by white culture. You are the CEO of Child Enrichment Solutions, LLC. What services do you offer offer with Child Enrichment Solutions, LLC? I currently write children’s books and I’m working on building educational courses based upon my children’s book under this particular LLC. I also provide author school visits as well as speaking engagements for school assemblies.

What is one of your greatest accomplishments? This is a hard one, there are so many honestly. But I definitely would have to say being a wife to my husband Eric Smith. He is my biggest supporter in making sure I can accomplish my goals. Do you have any upcoming conferences, events, or workshops? Currently, I don’t have any of those things lined up yet for the new year. However, I am always looking for authors to interview for my AuthorPush Talkshow and AuthorPush showcase. Both platforms allow authors to be able to showcase their books and services to diverse audiences. Give us some words to educate, inspire, and encourage women and all of our readers of Growth Women’s Business Networks Magazine. Never give up on your dreams! Keep pushing forward! Persist even in the midst of adversity.

Author’s Spotlight CHRISTINE TITIH Interviewed by Jennifer Diaby

Christine Titih is an author, entrepreneur and founder of a Non-profit organization: Oaks of Central PA. She recently launched the EmergeHer campaign which is about lifting up minority women and giving them the tools, network and resources to succeed. Christine's first book is titled: How I Discovered My Purpose. She lives in Camp Hill, PA with her daughter and mother. Please introduce and tell the readers a little about yourself? I am Christine Titih, mom, author, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. I am originally from Cameroon, a country in Central Africa. I currently live in Camp Hill, PA. You are a woman wearing many hats as an Author, Entrepreneur, and Founder of a Non-Profit Organization. I know many people are trying to figure out what is their purpose in life. Tell the readers about your book, “How I Discovered My Purpose.” My book “How I discovered My Purpose” is my journey (and the stories of others) from a place of unfulfillment to a place of joy. Purpose is our raison d’etre- the reason why we were created, why we are who we are and why we have the gifts and talents. Purpose gives our lives meaning. I think one of the most important questions we all must ask ourselves is, what’s my purpose? Why did God place me on this earth at a time and season like this? Whose lives am I supposed to touch? What difference am I to make? What areas am I to serve? Life is too short. And eternity is longer. We need to be able to make good use of our time here on earth. And the only way to do that is by discovering and pursuing our unique assignment, which is our purpose. You also created a devotional journal “365 Days of Purpose.” Tell us about your devotional journal “365 Days of Purpose.” There was a time in my life, where I was distraught and going through very challenging moments as a single mom (after my ex left us) and new to the US. The only comfort I found in those days was in a devotional book for women, which I had purchased in the gift shop of the hospital I used to work at as a nurse aid. I wrote all my fears, hopes and prayers in that little book. Over the years I revisit the book and I am just amazed at what God has done in my life. He has just been awesome! I wanted to give back what I received back then by writing this devotional. I think every woman and person needs to have a devotional on their nightstand. It is a great way to mediate on God’s word and will for our lives, to write down our prayer requests and other things that are preoccupying our minds.

You can purchase “How I Discovered My Purpose” at https://spearsmedia.com/shop/how-i-discovered-my-purpose/ You can pre order the “365 Days of Purpose” devotional by sending me at email at oaksofcentralpa@gmail.com. Recently, you launched the Emerge Campaign to lift up minority women giving them the tools, network and resources to succeed. Tell us more about Emerge Campaign and the reason you created it. EmergeHer was started with the purpose of connecting minority women in business in Central PA with each other and proving them tools and resources etc. to build successful and sustainable business through coaching, mentoring, networking, training sessions etc. Minority women are the most disadvantaged when it comes to obtaining resources and information to start and run a business. Most often the greatest huddle is fear- because of not having enough successful minority women being represented in our communities. EmergeHer is here to solve that problem by connecting these women with other successful minority women so they can build the networks and mentoring relationships, which are so vital for successful and sustainable businesses. It takes women to build a village- empowered, informed and connected women. EmergeHer is playing an important role in making sure this happens. Ms. Christine Titih, you are also an Entrepreneur as the Founder/Owner of CT Home Care Services. What type of services do you offer clients? CT Home Care Services provides support in form of community integration support, prevocational training, communication support, health and safety support, financial management and budgeting, and socialization support, to adults with a diagnosis of intellectual disabilities and autism spectrum disorder In Dauphin and Cumberland Counties, in Central PA. We have a day program located in Harrisburg, PA and are open Monday through Friday 8am to 3pm. Where can the readers view more about your services? By Contributing Writer, Elizabeth Crawford

So, what are limitations? A limiting rule or circumstance; a restriction. A restriction, restraint, constraint, control, hindrance, obstacle, barrier, inhibition Let’s jump right into it. What are limiting beliefs? Limiting beliefs are thoughts, opinions that one believes to be the absolute truth. They tend to have a negative impact on one’s life by stopping them from moving forward and growing on a personal and professional level. Limiting beliefs are those things you believe about yourself that ultimately place limitations on your abilities. They are subconscious thoughts creeping in and telling you something that is ultimately not true.

Limiting beliefs differ from self-sabotaging behaviors in that self-sabotage lies in low self-esteem, negative self-talk, and related negative emotions which are continually reinforced by the resulting failure. Selfsabotaging behaviors lead to such irresponsibility like substance abuse, turning to food or procrastination can all be ways in which we self-sabotage. On the other hand, limiting beliefs such as Imposter Syndrome and Analysis Paralysis are rooted and grounded in the way we see ourselves in certain situations. 1) Imposter Syndrome – is doubting your abilities and feeling like a fraud. You feel like you don’t measure up or you Just aren’t good enough. It disproportionately affects highachieving people, who find it difficult to accept their accomplishments. Many question whether they’re deserving of accolades…… 2) Analysis Paralysis – describes an individual or group process when over-analyzing or overthinking a situation can cause forward motion or decision-making to become “paralyzed”, you literally are unable to move forward with a decision, meaning that no solution or course of action is decided upon... Negative self-talk, self-sabotaging behaviors and limiting beliefs can lead to severe cases of drug/alcohol abuse, stress, burn-out, fatigue, high blood pressure, over-eating, depression, mental illness and more. Self-sabotage is behavior that undermines your success despite your own wishes, dreams or values. The roots of self-sabotage often lie in low self-esteem, negative self-talk and related negative emotions which are continually reinforced by the resulting failure.

How do you overcome limiting beliefs? 1. Identify – Call it out! Be honest. Admit the belief exists. 2. Understand – Why do you feel this way? What is causing the feeling. 3. Challenge – Accept the challenge. Fight it. Conquer it. 4. Recognize – See it as it approaches. Plan for it. Strategize. 5. Adopt a new belief – Speak in opposition to it. Give a positive for every negative. 6. Put it into action – Work it out. Act on it. I hope my explanation has given you an awareness of what limiting beliefs are, how they differ from selfsabotage and the tools you can put into practice to take the limits off limiting beliefs. Living by Faith or Living in Fear? Contributing Writer, Lisa Bradley Faith and fear are both such small words and yet they both have such big consequences. When we walk by faith, we believe even if we haven’t seen it manifest yet. We know that whatever God has spoken over our lives, it is coming to pass. But when we are living in fear, we open ourselves up to worry, lack and doubt. Carrying fear will have us bound and weighted down until it becomes heavy and overwhelming. We feel defeated and it stops us from going forward and moving into what it is God has for us. Sometimes we choose to stay in what is familiar because we are too afraid to step out into something new. It is the fear of the unknown. We can’t let the not knowing deter us. But this is where our faith should kick in. God wants to see if we truly believe in him and what he said without knowing all of the details. Faith allows us to believe it’s going happen before it actually does. God has given us all a purpose in life and we cannot allow fear to sidetrack us and make us miss our assignment. He has prepared and equipped us with everything we need to do his will. He has already placed inside of us what we need. We just have to step out and do it. The door has been open and the path has been made clear. If God’s spirit truly resides in us then there is no room or place for fear. And yes, sometimes we just have to do it scared but even in that, we still have a level of faith that things are going to work out. We know that God has not given us the spirit of fear. He has given us power. But the enemy can use our fear and lack of faith to distract us and hold us back from what he knows is about to happen. He knows we are about to walk into greatness and uplift God’s Kingdom and God’s people. So he wants us to remain stagnant and complacent. He does not want us to be blessed. He just wants to keep us scared and anxious and then lose focus, and once we lose that focus, our minds are off God, we get off track and are no longer walking in purpose. Faith makes us fearless. We become more than conquerors. With God, we can do all things. He is not going to leave us or allow us to walk alone. He is always there with us. He has our backs. God is not going to give us a task and then forget about us. He will be with us every step of the way. And I know at some point in life, we have all been fearful of stepping out and doing something new. But in those times, we also had to decide the cost. What was worth more, living by faith or living in fear?

Merry Christmas, Everyone! It's the most wonderful time of the year. Such a very special time when… We celebrate the birth of Christ, by giving gifts, having fun and doing everything nice. It is a time for sharing, And it is also a time for caring. Time for family, friends and those we love. Time to reflect on Jesus and His Father above! Hustle and bustle as folks shop in the store, Holiday parties at work on each and every floor, Store windows are decorated and looking great, It's the time to love everyone and not to hate. Christmas songs playing everywhere you go, Bitter cold weather and hopefully lots of snow, Kids are off from school and having fun, Adults shopping, decorating, cooking — can't wait till it's done! It's the most wonderful time of the year, Such a very special time when, We focus on Jesus' birth, which is the reason, For this special, wonderful time and season! by Rolanda T. Boundaries with Family During the Holiday Around this time of year, we spend a significant amount of time with friends and family. Boundaries is space and specific standards or guidelines for how to engage personally with you. Within most families there is an established “way of being” that the family uses as the unspoken “rules of engagement.” For example, “Mom has the final say” or “No one talk about Uncle Mike’s divorce.” Most of these unspoken rules lead to dysfunctional engagement wherein a person may feel obligated to keep quiet or not defend their right to be heard and understood. It’s important to acknowledge what makes you feel uncomfortable or disrespected first and then find ways to assert your needs and expectations for engagement. When we do not set boundaries, we could feel upset or agitated during our interactions with others which may make you feel disconnected from your loved ones. To maintain your interactions and have a more pleasurable experience with family you can: ●Acknowledge your feelings and needs when engaging with family. Know that you can be self-compassionate and aware of your body tensions, breathing, and thoughts related to your family interactions. ●Assert yourself with I statements “I think, I feel, and I need.” Share with your family if something feels awkward. Gently approach this with compassion towards your family noting they may not have thought of their actions as offensive. ●Be ok with the resolution that your family may feel uncomfortable and reject these boundaries. This does not mean it’s wrong. By implementing boundaries while interacting with family, you may discover that you enjoy being with them more and feel more understood and more appreciated overall. For more detailed interventions to implement boundaries you can read the book “Boundaries” Co-authored by Dr. Henry Cloud and Dr. John Townsend.

Mrs. Serene Dumas Lee, you are also an Author who write inspirational books. Please tell us what inspired you to become an Author. I love to write; I still have journals I wrote when I was twelve years old. For me writing/journaling has been a place of vulnerability and relinquishing. Everything we go through is not always about us. I believe my experience, victories, and trials will assist someone else. In 2021, I have been apart of 3 anthologies, published and wrote my own devotional journal for women and became a visionary author. Recently, you released your new anthology book, “More Precious Than Gems: She Knows Her Worth.” Congratulations on your anthology book becoming an International Bestseller on Amazon. Tell the readers about “More Precious Than Gems: She Knows Her Worth.” “More Precious Than Gems, She Knows Her Worth” is a book about 18 women who poured out their heart and soul. When we view gems, we always see the beauty, the brilliance, and radiance. Rarely do we hear about the process and formation of gems. Nobody talks about the muck and mire and hot places that forms them. These women who I affectionally call the GEMS tell their stories of formation of their process of becoming the gems they are today. It’s a book of tough places and hard conversation that shed light on the victory of the processes. I am grateful for each of these women for being vulnerable and resilient. Where can your books be purchased? The books can be purchased on Amazon and on my website rhemallc.com Do you have any books to be released in 2022? Yes, In January 2022 I am the featured author in another anthology called “Caged Fight” by the wonderful Ms. Shelia Farr. I will also be doing a call for authors for another anthology I will be producing on faith. You are the Founder, Director, CEO at Rhema Institute of Leadership. What services do you offer through Rhema Institute of Leadership? At Rhema Institute of Leadership we offer courses for leadership, management development, and training. I believe the best thing leaders along with managers can do is have a mindset of constant learning. I developed a course called “The Leadership Pivot” being released on an online platform in February 2022. In this course, I teach leaders how to shift through different leadership management approaches and styles. I give examples of how to use them through case studies. In spring and summer of 2022, I will add the courses I developed on Stress Management, Time Management, Vision, and Purpose. The Importance of Understanding Emotional Intelligence, and Conflict Management. Registration for online courses will start in January 2022 on the website rhemallc.com. I am excited about what God is doing at Rhema Institute of Leadership (R.I.L). Do you have any upcoming conferences, events, or workshops? Yes, I am in talks with some partners to have conference in Savannah, GA in 2022. Stay tuned to social media and the rhemallc.com website for details. Give us some words to educate, inspire, and encourage women and all of our readers of Growth Women’s Business Networks Magazine. Ladies, we have a God given authority to speak it, write it and manifest it. Whatever your passion and purpose is, pray over it, and take the leap of faith. The time is now. Live your best life on purpose
