Since being born on December 9,1990 in Columbia SC, Avarie Pressley has always had on creative lens. She noticed her skill to sketch clothing in beautiful silhouettes and dazzling colors in the 6th grade. That’s when she decided that she wanted to be a fashion designer. At the tender age of 12, her mother brought her first sewing machine and expressed to her that she had to “figure it out,” and that’s exactly what she did. With no sewing classes or mentors to guide her, she gained most of her knowledge through trial and error, eventually mastering her craft as a self-taught fashion designer. After getting married in 2010, Avarie took a break to settle into her role as a wife and mother of 4. In the year of 2015, she jumped back into her first passion and has been trailblazing ever since. She has been and still holds a fashion segment on WACH Fox News for the Soda City Comic Con Convention, she has been featured in the Hair Walk Fashion Show, she has been the head seamstress for Bell Biv DeVoe, Bobby Brown, and New Edition. As well as been in the company of Brandi Maxwell from basketball wives and created custom looks for Houston rapper Tobe Nwigwe. Avarie continues to strive for greatness all the while wearing many hats. She keeps God first, family next, and everything else in God’s hands! With her sewing machine in hand, there’s no stopping her!
