Granola Bar Recipe Yields: 32 small (1x3) granola bars Or 18 regular sized (1.5x4) bars. 1 c. honey 1 c. peanut butter 3 1/2 c. oats 1 t. vanilla, or flavoring of your choice spices: 1 T. cinnamon, 1/2 t. ginger. optional 1 cup of Mix-ins-optional…see below Toppings, optional Directions: Warm peanut butter, and stir in honey. Stir in flavoring or spices of your choice. Pour over oats, and blend. Stir in up to 1 cup, total, of mix ins. If you just want a bit, use 1/4 cup. If you like a lot, use a full cup of any of the following:  mini M&M's, chopped nuts  chopped dried fruit  rice crispy cereal  seeds  protein powder

 powdered milk  dried berries toffee peanuts  toasted or regular coconut  mini or regular chips (any flavor).

Press into a 9x13 pan. For small snack sized bars, cut 8 long narrow rows, then cut the rows into fourths. For normal sized bars, cut into 6 long rows, and then divide the length in thirds. Smish additional chocolate chips onto the top if desired, and warm in the oven on low for a few minutes them to make them stick. If you like crispy bars, transfer to a baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes at 325. Store covered at room temperature. Wrap in wax paper to pack in a lunchbox.
