While millions of people get ready to tune into Sunday night’s “The Walking Dead” premiere, Peter Zimmerman can’t help but reflect on how his career has come alive in the past few years. The Suwanee native has gone from working at a Costco warehouse store to gearing up for a tour to promote his role on the hit AMC show. By day, Peter Zimmerman was a humble and hopeful employee at the warehouse, but by night he played the valiant, edgy and tough character Eduardo on the small screen. The horror drama based on a comic book series is about a sheriff’s deputy who wakes up from a coma to discover zombies — “walkers” — have taken over the world. The deputy, his family and other survivors work together to fight the walkers as well as other groups of survivors who are trying to stay alive. Eduardo tries to prove himself as a protector of his community against outsiders on the show, which films in Atlanta. The Peachtree Ridge

After he shared firsthand examples of listening to God through prayer, and then acting on them, Marc Khedouri unleashed an unparalled opportunity throughout the Wesleyan School community. “Do something beautiful for God.”
Khedouri, Wesleyan’s athletics director, gave an inspiring talk on Thursday morning before a chapel full of high school students, teachers and staff. His message was in order to be authentically Christian, and to truly change the world, it was time to act on opportunities in everyday life. He gave examples in his own life of a man he’d pass every

Norcross-based WestRock is leaving its main campus in Norcross for new digs within walking distance of the Sandy Springs MARTA station. The company is closing its home office on Thrasher Street and will move 800 employees to a 180,000-square-foot space at the Cousins Properties-owned Northpark Town Center at 1000 Abernathy Road in Sandy Springs. The employees moving to the new headquarters include senior leadership, corporate support personnel and commercial teams, according to the company. WestRock works in papermaking, packaging design and retail solutions, according to its website. “We are pleased to select Northpark Town Center as our new location for WestRock,” WestRock Chief Executive Officer Steve Voorhees said in a statement. “This office will provide additional space for growth for our team and will enable us to enhance collaboration by co-locating key functions. “Access to MARTA and key transportation hubs will also benefit our employees in the region.” WestRock isn’t the first company to move its headquarters from Gwinnett to other parts of the metro area in recent years. Just over two years ago, consumer transaction technology company NCR Corp. announced it was moving its world headquarters from the Duluth area to Technology Square, which is near the Georgia Tech campus in Atlanta. The home office’s move will not affect two other offices WestRock has in Gwinnett County, including a second Norcross office and another one in Duluth. The company’s office in Richmond, Va., is not expected to be affected by the move either. employees are expected to move gradually between November and sometime in spring 2018. The facility on Thrasher Street is expected to be sold once the move is completed. The new home office will be located
