FURNITURE
Lotus Chair is especially designed for doing meditation and feeling relax by sitting up rather than sitting on the floo r. They can see the sky from the window while they’re doing meditation. Also wooden parts of armrests are designed as a place for incense burner. Sizes such as depth, height are arranged by considering the body shape (lotus position) while people are doing meditation. Also people can use this chair for daily purposes such as sprawling with their pets in a large seat. Form of the sitting unit and backrest represents ’ the leaves of the lotus flower. Our core is hiding between leaves of the Lotus Chair while we’re doing meditation on it. Light yellow upholstery and printed turquoise fabric colors are prefered to contribute calming effects of meditation. plywood is used as framework of this seat. Also light-colored oak is prefered for the feet of the Lotus Chair.

Materiality plays the biggest role to create this high-end ambience in interiors. While high quality finishing materials like mahogany is preferred as main material in rooms, marble and waterproof paint usage for bathroom contributes the intended atmosphere in overall design process. I’ve mainly contributed the final renders in this phase of the project.

‘FLOW’ Coffee shop as a study / work place: A coffee shop which provokes your ambitions related to your goals, your desire of creating and potential of producing new things by helping you to reach out your optimal experience – or flow.
INSPIRATION HOW DO THE INTERIORS OF COFFEE SHOPS AFFECT ON PEOPLE’S OPTIMAL STUDY EXPERIENCE – OR FLOW? ‘coffitivity’ : reaching your best ‘state of flow’ in coffee shops.
’Athletes call it ‘being in the zone.’ Artists call it ‘the muse.’ Psychologists today have given it an official name: Flow’ (Mackay, 2017)

‘Flow’ coffee shop can be marketed as a chain store with an adoptable holistic design approach. If the appropriate site can be found, it can be located in different cities or countries Lumicor with help of minor Figurethe 37: Upholstery choices adjustments such as regional construction Figure 39:materials depends on the climate. Creating a design identity which reflects the story behind the brand is vital in order to create a reliable image in users’ mind. Thus, they become familiar with the brand and visit frequently (Petermans et al, 2013). To show its ‘brand identity’, I have designed a logo and several collaterals for the coffee shop such as coffee cups and saucers, loyalty cards, menu, shopping bags and price tags (Fig. HOLISTIC DESIGN APPROACH 41&42). The form of the logo, selected colours and recycled paper use for collaterals emphasize the integrity of design identity in a holistic package, which shows the strength of your identity with a unique signature as a coffee shop brand.

DESIGN APPROACH
Concept: Create your own light! I inspired from a commercial film belonging MAVI JEANS. Barbara Palvin and Serenay Sarıkaya are playing roles as good friends having rough times. Their slogan is ‘’ if everywhere is dark, you create your own light.’’ In my design, lighted drop paper boxes represents different lights that open different doors to our future career. Also there are some successful people information printed on these boxes and we feel hopeful when we go further in the structure. Level differences between modules also represent that our hopes are getting bigger in the structure thanks to career opportunuties in MAVI JEANS. Location: Bilkent University, Ankara, Turkey 1 23
SCENERIO
When someone enter to structure, there will be an interactive puzzle about the
career opportunities in MAVI JEANS on the floor with the help of video mapping technique. There will be also a projection screen opposite to puzzle. They move simultaneously. After the guest have some clue about the jobs in MAVI, he or she will move by reading successful people in the company. Lastly they can pick some brochures or they write their contact info in the last part of the structure and they leave.
SUSTAINABILTY In order to build this structure sustainable, I used eco-friendly materials such as wood and drop paper. Also there will be solar panels on top of the structure and they will produce electricity for lighting inside the drop paper boxes even in cloudy weather.

RESIDENCE Indigo move - Perfect fit (Phase 2)
# MoveinMavi SELECTED COMPANY :
DESIGN APPROACH Concept: Embraced by Space I inspired from a new kind of denim tecnology belonging MAVI JEANS which is called Indigo Move. Indigo Move focused on the concept of an active lifestyle and comfort with the idea of ‘’Perfect Fit’’. The collection offers the highest level of comfort, incredible shape retention, signature design details and flawless silhouttes.
SCENERIO
Location: Mogan Lake terrain, Ankara, Turkey

In this residence, CEO of Mavi Jeans - Ersin Akarlılar, his wife Tracei and two teenage children of them Dakota and Hudson will live. CEO and his wife are a nature lover couple and their favourite activities are sailing, skiing, wood crafting, gardening and reading. Dakota like painting and Hudson like outdoor games. This family needs a flexible and natural house environment because they prefer a casual life style.
JEANS
CONCEPTUAL IDEAS In the light of the concept of Indigo Move, I wanted to create spaces that embrace the people like their second skin from the ceiling to the floor in my Representational Residence. Thus we feel quite comfortable and safe in it with a sense of belonging to that space which we are in. These spaces are quite flexible and have a natural flow. Also they allow us to be active and feel comfortable at the same time. To do that, I used angular (triangular -like) shaped geometry which remembered me distorted forms of a perpective view especially in circulation areas because these kind of forms that we are in, are feeding the feel of ‘’embraced by the space’’.

TV SET / PRODUCTION DESIGN:
A TRIBUTE NIGHT FOR
Muhammad Ali
Representations of breaking points of Muhammad Ali’s life.
DESIGN APPROACH
Concept: A Tribute Night for Muhammed Ali As a conceptual inspiration, I tried to observe the most influential sides of Muhammed Ali’s character. Then I ended up with the idea of “there is not any wall that Muhammed Ali cannot break”, which sums up Muhammed Ali’s character both mentally and physically. He had always been so strong to revolt any injustice. So I wanted to build a wall that he breaks at the end of the dance show with an animation. Then as a structural inspiration, I focused on the block modules of that wall. I decided to integrate each block to the set design itself. 33
People will speak according to the breaking points of Muhammed Ali’s life. The timeline below is an interpretation that I am inspired from the breaking points of Muhammed Ali’s life.
SCENERIO As I chose the types of performances; * Presentation * Specific and important people’s speech. * Inspired songs from Muhammed Ali’s life, will be performed. * Dance show that includes a wall construction. * After the wall built, there will be a cinevision to the wall. * With a big punch, the wall breaks down from the middle.

Ankara subway map
PROJECTION MAPPING, also known as video mapping and spatial augmented reality, is a projection technology used to turn objects, often irregularly shaped, into a display surface for video projection.
DESIGN APPROACH
Concept: Video Installation Arts Museum
SCENERIO
‘’Museum’’ plays a role that make people come together. Cermodern located in the critical point on the city transportation grid that embraced people coming from the East and West sides of Ankara. I wanted to use this information coming from the location of Cermodern by creating a core as a main museum area on the plan and mounting other areas (service areas and administrativeeducational areas) from two sides. Also I inspired from the shape of film strip for this core and I imagine that this strip is wrapping from the core to the end point of left corner of the whole interior throughout the cafe area.
In my design, there will exhibit video installations both on the curvilinear walls by using multiple projection techniques and on the floor by using cylindrical projection mapping in the core of the museum area belong to famous video artists.

-A retail shop located on Planet Earth which offers an interplanetary shopping experience to space traveller customers.
Interplanetary Boutique is like duty free shops in airports. It will be located in transition points between spaceship launching areas on Planet Earth and outer space so that people can shop just before they take the spaceships to start their interplanetary travel.
We need various clothing in different planets we land, according to our changing surrounding.
DEFINITION OF HOLIDAY WILL CHANGE. NEW TYPE OF VACATION WILL BE INVENTED. INTERPLANETARY VACATIONS WILL BE THE DREAM HOLIDAY.
DESIGN APPROACH
Target inhabitants: Space travellers Concept: People have always an inner desire and a curiosity for discovering new lands and life forms outside of Planet Earth. Space travel is going to be very common touristic activity in the future, people will need to shop before they start their vacation just like they do for their skiing holiday today. Best way to respond this invention of new type of shopping experience is creating an identical revolution in fashion retail environment for outer space vacations. ‘Interplanetary Boutique’ has a

In terms of structure; from inner circle (storey) to outer circle, horizontal planes will disintegrate of each planet in our solar system. In terms of interiority, I designed hypershelves as which respond user’s hand behaviours. I distributed them to storeys closer to each other as they are close to illuminated core, to emphasize my of planets.

SLOW LIFE Tea House
Location: Warsaw, Poland WHAT IS SLOW LIFE? ‘To achieve 'slow, relaxed and comfortable' lifestyles, and shift from a society of mass production and mass consumption to a society that is not hectic and does cherish our possessions and things of the heart.' SLOW FOOD is a branch of this peaceful lifestyle. ‘Tea’ is my starting point to represent slow food because of it’s harvesting and drying process. We have to wait before it comes to our tea cups. Being aware of this process is the aim of ‘slow food’ movement.
DESIGN APPROACH Concept: Tea House
Tea is used as a metaphor in this project to represent ‘slow food’ movement. There is a show table represents different tea types. By this way customers can see the ingredients of different types of tea. They can smeel and pick a specific tea. While they are doing this they can think about harvesting and drying process of tea. materials and colors used in interior aim also to create natural atmosphere.

Colorful ventilation pipes, lines on the wall surface and even on the wall paper come together and create an energetic space. To create a warm interior, chromatic pastel colors coming from the nature are used in this project. Nature is very important in this issue becasue of the representation of ‘Slow Life’.
Also wood is another important material used in built-in furnitures to create a warm interior and slow life harmony. Daylight lamps are prefered in the interior to achieve a realistic natural atmosphere again. SCENERIO This place is an old building located in centrum of Warsaw. People on the street will come to the Tea House and drink tea without feeling rush. NEEDS Cafe area, Entrance/cash area Showroom Staff room Outdoor areas Sanitary areas

In my office internship, Firstly I designed interior of Home Theatre Module for OFT House. I created accoustic panels for ceiling to control the sound. White Corian and wood are the materials that I prefered for furnitures to create a peaceful athmosphere. I also picked monochromatic colors in whole interior in order not to strain the eyes. White and blue leather sofa were used to prevent staining because of beverages during the movie time. Blue and gray colored Bang&Olufsen speakers that I chose were fitted for my design properly. acyrilic coating

Secondly, I designed interior of Home Office Module for OFT House. White Corian and wood are the main materials that I chose for furnitures as I used my previous project. In Office Module, I wanted to create a bright and spacious space. To do this, I picked pastel earth-toned colors in whole interior. Work table is located across the transparent part of the wall to take the daylight directly. Also I created a little relaxing corner to read books or magazines in break massive times across the work desk. corian wood

Thirdly, I designed interior of Gym Module for OFT House. I wanted to create an energetic space but not so tiring. That’s why I prefered to use green besides white color. These two colors created not only a contrast but also a balance in whole interior. White wood is used for flooring, modern white bricks are used for walls. I also designed a huge sliding glass door looking to the garden and I located the gym equipments across to it. By this way, users can watch the nature while they’re doing exercises. acyrilic coating
