Gucci was first esablished in 1921 by Guccio gucci in florance italy but has recently been handed down to marco bizzarri beofre said hand down their was a lot of murder and conspiracy with in the gucci family and so the brand had to be taken from their hands gucci is an italian fashion brand and it is the olded brand around today, they started out making luggage luxury travel goods and esquestrian equipment for italys weathy upper class gucci soon ventured on to only producing leather goods and primium knitwear, silk goods, shoes and handbags that was until the 2nd world war happen with made them use more cotton for their products

for this project we had to choose a luxtury brand that we would like to work with and create a collection that featured our chosen ttrend and concept which would be sold online. due to the pandemic we were unable to conduct any primary research so majority of it was done using the internet, looking at their social medias, online shop and vogue. though this limited my understanding of the brand i feel i have been able to represent the brand well the brand i choose was gucci, and with having researched them i moved to looking at recent trends and trending concepts which brought me to renaiccance and oversized which i believe to be the best suited for gucci. i focused my imagery search into renaissance on statues and oil paintings of florals and use these for my prints i found my inspiration for these prints from past and present prints gucci has used. my target market was targeted towards celebrities as gucci is a very high end brand known to be worn by those who are famous so i choose to use lee ji eun also known as iu who is a famous singer as my target audiance and face of this collaberation (she is also a brand ambassidor of gucci) i have definitly learnt alot through out this project and have developed my digital skills massivly. i am able to create visuals of my prints on garments and surfafces using displacment maps and clipping masks which will help me alot in the future. i was also able to improve on skills i have learnt like making technical flats, i feel like they are at a more professional level than before but could still use more practice and improvment i feel despite having to work through the pandemic i have done well with this project and although i had lost track of time on the project i was able to manage the work i had left to do and get everything done on time, i am very pleased on how everything turned out but probably the most proud of my research pages and social media pages i just love how they turned out. next time i will definatly manage my time better and work harder on being more digitally minded as i struggle alot with having to do art on a computer having come from a traditional art background.
