Este trabajo, ha asistido a más de 29 millones de personas en todo el mundo, desde los inicios de la organización en 1976. En el año fiscal 2019, Hábitat para la Humanidad ayudó a más de 7 millones de personas a construir y mejorar sus hogares, con la colaboración de 1.4 millones de voluntarios que ayudaron construir, abogar y crear conciencia sobre la necesidad de viviendas adecuadas.

En Latinoamérica y el Caribe más de 2 millones de personas mejoraron sus condiciones de vivienda este año, ya sea a través de construcciones nuevas, rehabilitaciones, refacciones, servicios y desarrollo de mercado.

At the international level, we are part of an organization that is driven by the vision that each family has a decent place to live.

This work has assisted more than 29 million people worldwide, since the beginning of the organization in 1976. In the 2019 fiscal year, Habitat for Humanity helped more than 7 million people build and improve their homes, with the collaboration of 1.4 million volunteers who helped build, advocate and raise awareness about the need for adequate housing.

“We believe that the bathroom is very important for the well-being of a family; therefore, we have been conducting this campaign for five years, also highlighting the importance of adequate sanitation in each home, a necessary and urgent cause in the country. We thank the companies committed to this cause, such as Record Electric, Inverfin, Benito Roggio e Hijos SA, Sueñolar, Nuestra Señora de la Asunción, Solar SA, Lumicorp and Iris. Raquel Bertrán, Directora de Recursos de Hábitat para la Humanidad en Paraguay. El equipo constructivo de Hábitat para la Humanidad inició a mediados de diciembre las visitas de los hogares para realizar el relevamiento de las condiciones sanitarias de algunas familias.

El 31 de enero de 2019 se inauguraron los primeros cinco baños más saludables en la zona de Guazú Virá, de Itauguá.
