48 TuBore Series Safe and Sterile The 48 TuBore Series is the Habonim line of clean ball valves for the pharmaceutical and bioprocessing industries. These valves are designed for applications which require maximum flow capacity at minimum pressure drop, where sterility, clean-ability and drain-ability are essential for faultless product quality. The 48 TuBore valve port matches tube ID dimensions, provides tight shutoff and has exceptional performance in many service applications.

HermetiX™ ZEROStem-Leak Valves
Habonim’s unique, patent-pending HermetiX™ technology offers ZERO-Stem-Leak and optional Fire Safe capabilities, which are critical in the pharmaceutical industry.
Habonim special solutions for Pharmaceutical Industry: SRS - Self Relief Sealing Habonim’s SRS seat eliminates the danger of gas expansion and pressure increase in the cavity. The seat will self relief before pressure reaches to a level that can harm the valve.
LD- Locking Devices The Habonim spring loaded locking device (LD) is ideal for applications where maintaining valve position and preventing accidental operation are critical. The LD is easily fitted to the valve stem by simply removing the stem nut and threading the lock stem above the handle. The LD can lock the valve in either the opened or closed position.
SRH- Spring Return Handle A special feature designed by Habonim to provide a safe, easy and economical solution for applications requiring sampling or draining of media. The handle provides dependable automatic closing or opening of manual valves

Actuation & Special Solutions Quick Shut-off Pneumatic Actuator – Compact II
The patented 4-piston quarter turn actuator delivers twice the torque in a smaller housing. The fastest cycling, most reliable pneumatic actuator with the highest cycle life performance in the market today. The Compact actuator has emergency shutdown applications and comes with a 7-year warranty, as standard, due to its high performance and superb reliability.
ZEPOK Cuts Contamination Habonim’s ZEPOK (Zero Pocket) valves are designed to eliminate bacterial contamination caused by “dead-leg” or improper circulation in the pipeline. ZEPOK provides a high reliability, fire safe solution. Available in a range of sizes using nonwelded construction for zero defects, zero dead-leg and full drain-ability, while allowing the use of smaller actuators.
ELBOW VALVE Minimizes Dead Volume Habonim’s Fire-Safe Elbow Valves are designed for the pharmaceutical industry, to allow sample-taking from the flow without risking contamination. The addition of a ball valve to each pipe elbow ensures minimum dead volume, eliminating the potential for batch contamination and facilitating easy in-line cleaning. Available in a range of sizes and a variety of materials, including stainless steel and Hasteloy-C.

Solutions Solutionsat atWork Work Bar Stock Fire-Safe Valves Habonim redesigned a range of valves for a leading international pharmaceutical company to meet aesthetic and technical specifications. Habonim supplied over 200 actuated Fire-Safe 48T Bar Stock valves (with a special dome actuator), and 400 manual valves for solvents, gases and liquids. Both the valves and actuators were specially designed to match existing site specifications. The Bar Stock design was adopted to create a clean exterior finish.
Low Ferrite and Sulfur Valves Habonim designed a range of 48T series valves with low ferrite and sulphur content to meet site specifications of a new contact lens manufacturing facility in Europe. Habonim supplied 200 manual and 80 actuated packages to the site for use in a clean steam application.
