T H U R S D AY 1 2 M AY - 7 P M For this Spotlight concert we are celebrating the wonderful young jazz musicians of the school. Expect to hear an eclectic mix of music from within the jazz genre, from Miles Davis to Weather Report, the great American songbook to traditional Brazilian songs. It is astounding that all of these performers are only in Years 7 to 10, it takes a great deal of skill and courage to improvise in public, and to trust the musicians around you.

T H U R S D AY 1 9 M AY - 7 P M Spotlight Wind and Brass is an exciting opportunity to hear the best up and coming talent we have in Years 7 to 10. We have a broad range of music to present this evening, from Haydn to The Avengers, via Lennon/McCartney and Queen! Wind and Brass playing is a crucial part of our Music School, ultimately feeding into ensembles such as Symphony Orchestra, Concert Band and Big Band.

We have founded two brand new orchestras especially for this concert, Chamber Orchestra, and Camerata. We have teamed up with the Girls’ School for the Chamber Orchestra, who will headline the evening concert playing Beethoven’s dramatic Egmont Overture.
