Is Coding For Kids Just A Farce We all know adults who studied the most famous colleges and studied subjects that continue to be highly demanded in the job market, but they are not very successful in life. Reason? They don’t know English. The definition of computer courses for kids has now extended to the point where they include learning coding and programming as well as robotics. These skills are going to be the gatekeepers of a lot of white-collar jobs in the next few words. Research suggests that in about 2 decades, these skills will be at the core of any white-collar job in the world, be it accounting or logistics. This makes it especially important that these become an important part of the current curriculum for kids at schools and after-school learning centres. It can start with something very simple: Scratch Junior is a popular programming language for kids. In fact, even if your kids don’t know how to read or write, there are several games that can help them learn logic and solve puzzles, thereby making the first steps for them to learn coding when they grow up. Hence, the question arises: how computer coding for kids can be best taught? As mentioned before, there are several after-school centers which offer these programs in flexible weekday and weekend options. These make it really easy to help kids stay up with the times when it comes to learning these important things. Moreover, schools can also play an important role in this aspect. Schools used to have computer courses since a decade ago, and the modern schools in Tier-1 and Tier-2 cities have started introducing coding as a subject along with regular curriculum as well. This is a great competitive advantage that would make a parent lean towards a certain school while choosing one for their child. A lot of parents worry that trying to make your child learn too many things would rob them of their childhood. However, while these concerns are valid, there has to be a modern touch in their education. This means that teaching coding is not only a form of providing them with a unique education, it also allows them to get a competitive edge over the other people their age.

Coding doesn’t have to be learn in front of stupid screens. It can also be learned with the help of games and puzzles, as mentioned before. Moreover, it has a variety of effects on your child’s learning abilities. For example, it makes them better and faster readers, it helps them learn new languages quickly, it improves their cognitive skills, it helps them gain clarity on math and science stuff, etc. Hence, coding is an essential skill that parents must insist on their child to learn. We suggest they learn from the experts only so that their time doesn’t go in vain, and they get the right basics that’ll help them learn the more complicated parts of it on their own after growing up.
