What’s Your Child Doing This Summer Vacation Most kids and parents believe that summer is for fun: one must forget everything about boring school books and have the time of their lives playing video games and relaxing. However, it is simple things and pockets of opportunities like this that can potentially add up to make something life changing for the kids. Bill Gates, the richest man alive and one of the most famous programmers in the world , spent summers with his friend Ric finding bugs in Computer Center Corporation (CCC). When the college administrators became aware of his programming abilities, and Gates wrote the school's computer program to schedule students in classes. This was in Lakeside school in 1973. Let this be the first clue why coding classes for kids in the summer vacations might go a long way in helping them to be better prepared in life. However, there are several ways in which you can introduce your kids to coding even before the summer begins, thereby ensuring that they will take the maximum benefit of the classes when they start. Summer camps which offer coding specialization are very popular and hence, high in demand. It is important to find the right fit for both you and your child in a way that it doesn’t cause unnecessary strain on your budget and logistics, and your child learns everything they should about programming. Coding, for children, can turn out to be truly one of the most exciting things they learn outside school. And we all know how interesting school is! Summers camps are a place where kids can learn about coding, design, the Internet of Things, mobile app and game development and more. There are special teachers who design courses that fit the expected difficulty levels that the kids can face. Kids are encouraged to even work in groups with like-minded peers and try to develop projects from the ground up. The teachers help them through the process, asking them relevant questions whenever needed to nudge them in the right direction. At the end of the camp, kids get to showcase their work in front of other kids and parents. https://www.hackberrykids.com/

More than just learning coding, these camps also give kids the chance to meet like-minded peers. When it comes to coding, most teachers can’t tell apart kids with and without learning disabilities. If anything, kids with learning disabilities are even better at coding because they are inherently more creative and have a stronger approach to problem solving. Student entrepreneurs can also get a chance to attend coding classes which can feed back into something larger for their entrepreneurial ambitions. So, look out for some coding classes in advance and see what works best for your kids!
