City and Hackney Carers Centre, a leading independent voluntary sector organisation is looking to appoint an experienced person for the following post:
Young Adult Carers Support Worker The Young Adult Carers (YAC) Support Worker will be the first point of contact for all young adult carers to the City & Hackney Carers Centre. The post holder will have good communication skills along with excellent computer skills and be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office. Ability to facilitate CV writing workshops is essential. This post also requires outreach to publicise and identify hidden YACs and maintain a register of young adult carers. Experience of using social media i.e. facebook, twitter is essential. The successful candidate will be expected to support YAC’s around employability so some Human Resources experience will be preferable. The post holder will also be expected to provide mentoring support to YAC’s including information and advice.
Salary:
£7,609 incl ILW - 14 hours per week (2 days) (Fixed Contract)
