Steven Alonso is head of Fifth Third Bancorp’s Consumer Bank, comprised of Retail Banking, Mortgage, Auto Lending, Bankcard, Collections, and Credit Centers. He is also a member of the Bank’s Enterprise Committee and the Senior Executive sponsor of Fifth Third’s Diversity Inclusion Councils.

Ben Alvarado is Senior Vice President and President of Wells Fargo’s Orange County Community Bank. He oversees 1,668 financial professionals at 104 banking stores and manages more than $17.1 billion in deposits. Mr. Alvarado, a 23-year banking veteran, assumed his current role in July 2011.

Mr. Alonso is presently a board member of the Greater Cincinnati Urban League and formerly was a member of the Indiana Hospital Council (appointed by governor Mitch Daniels). He is a forum member of the World Presidents Organization, a member of the Retail Banking Executive Circle and a member of the Mortgage Bankers Association. He has also been a finalist for Ernst and Young’s Entrepreneur of the Year ®.

Mr. Alvarado is active in the community and serves on the board of directors for Orange County United Way; the advisory board for Miller Children’s Hospital Long Beach; the board of directors for Bundles of Books in Los Alamitos; and the alumni board for La Salle High School in Pasadena. He earned his bachelor’s degree from California State University, Long Beach, and an MBA from Pepperdine University.

He received a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University. He received his master’s degree from Stevens Institute of Technology.

Maria G. Arias is the Vice President of Diversity and Inclusion for Comcast Corporation. In this role, Ms. Arias develops the strategy and directs the implementation of the diversity and inclusion initiatives across the company. Additionally, she works closely with Comcast’s executive internal Diversity Council and the external Comcast/ NBCUniversal Joint Diversity Advisory Council, which is comprised of over 40 national leaders in business, politics, and civil rights.

Jennifer Armogan is Senior Director of Human Resources for Merchandising, Product Design and Development, and Sourcing at Target Corporation. In her current role, she is responsible for driving alignment of talent and culture strategies with business priorities for almost 3,500 employees within the stores buying organization of this Fortune 50 retail company. She joined Target in 2005 and has held a variety of leadership positions within HR.

Ms. Arias previously served as Vice President of Operations for Comcast Cable’s Southern Colorado systems. Prior to that, she was the Vice President of Operations for the West Division, Interim Vice President of Technical Operations for the West Division, and Interim General Manager for Comcast’s Colorado mountain area and Tucson, Arizona cable systems.

Her responsibilities have included hiring, retention, and development, as well as other HR functions.

Before joining Comcast in 2007, Ms. Arias managed corporate and regional law and government affairs groups for Adelphia Communications, AT&T Broadband, and AT&T Corp. She also was an income partner at McDermott Will & Emery.

Ms. Armogan has almost twenty years of experience in human resources in a variety of industries, including primarily retail and technology. She received her B.A. in Industrial/ Organization Psychology from Minnesota State University, Mankato.

Ms. Arias currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia Freedom Valley YMCA, Congreso de Latinos Unidos, and Solera National Bank. She holds a Juris Doctor from Northwestern University School of Law. 2014 HACR CORPORATE EXECUTIVES FORUM™

Daisy AugerDomínguez is Vice President, Talent Acquisition and Organization and Workforce Diversity at the Disney | ABC Television Group where she is responsible for the strategic direction, implementation, and alignment of talent acquisition and organizational diversity. She leads recruitment and diversity teams who focus on making the Disney | ABC Television Group the destination for talented people with a passion for creating compelling content that engages consumers around the world.

Jose Avalos is the Visual Retail Director for Intel Corporation in the Intelligent Systems Group. He leads Intel’s worldwide Visual Retail business and his organization is responsible for delivering Intel’s Digital Signage, Interactive Kiosks, Intelligent Vending and Dispensing, and Interactive White-Board Platforms, as well as initiatives to fuel the growth of these Industries.

She is a 2002 alumna of the Embassy of Spain’s U.S. Young Hispanic Leaders Program and a 1998 Coro Fellow for Leadership in Public Affairs. She is also the recipient of numerous awards, including the New York City Council Community Involvement Award and El Diario La Prensa’s “Latinas Destacadas” Award. She currently serves on the board of the Council of Urban Professionals, on the FCC Advisory Committee on Diversity in the Digital Age, and as advisor to several professional organizations. Ms. Auger-Domínguez holds an M.P.A. from the Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service at NYU and a B.A. from Bucknell University.

Mr. Avalos has had a multi-faceted career with numerous General Manager and Director-level positions at Intel in business, marketing, and engineering. Prior to his current role, he was general manager of Intel’s Ultra-wideband Networking Operation. He currently represents Intel at the ASU W.P. Carey School of Business, Center for Services Leadership advisory board. He received his BSEE from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana and his MSEE from the Arizona State University. He has completed Executive Leadership Programs at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia and at the UCLA Anderson School of Management. In addition, he is a graduate of the General Management Executive Program at Harvard Business School.

Daniel Ayala is Executive Vice President and Business Unit Manager for Wells Fargo’s Global Remittance Services group. He is responsible for the Wells Fargo ExpressSend® service enabling consumer remittances to Asia and Latin America. Mr. Ayala is a global payments systems expert with more than 21 years of related consumer and wholesale banking experience. Previously, he has worked at Citibank, J.P. Morgan Chase, and Bank of America. Over the past decade, Mr. Ayala has emerged as a renowned consumer remittances expert and has been recognized as a key industry leader in the remittances space. Mr. Ayala earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from DePaul University and an MBA from Nova Southeastern University. He is a Certified Cash Manager with the Association for Financial Professionals, a graduate of the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management, and a named inventor on the Global Remittance Platform patent.

Rudy M. Beserra is the Vice President of Latin Affairs for The CocaCola Company. Mr. Beserra has made his career as an advocate and voice for the Latino community. Since 1989, Mr. Beserra has strengthened Coca-Cola’s bridge to hundreds of Latino organizations and small businesses in the U.S. Prior to Coca-Cola, Mr. Beserra was Special Assistant to President Ronald Reagan on Latino and small business affairs. Mr. Beserra is an active member of a number of prominent Latino-focused organizations, including LULAC (League of Latin American Citizens), the National Hispanic Caucus of State Legislators, and the University of Texas-Pan American Foundation Board of Trustees. Mr. Beserra is a past Chairman of the Hispanic Scholarship Fund. In 2011, Mr. Beserra received the NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award. Also in 2011, he was awarded the Hector Barreto “Con Ganas” Award at the USHCC (United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce) convention in Miami for his advocacy promoting Latino businesses in the private sector.

Georgette Borrego Dulworth was appointed Director, Talent Acquisition and Diversity, Chrysler Group LLC in October 2011. At Chrysler Group LLC, Ms. Borrego Dulworth is responsible for overall recruitment of top talent and the management of corporate hiring practices for salaried and hourly personnel. She leads Chrysler Group’s Diversity Office to further enhance the company’s success as a recognized leader of diversity in an increasingly complex, multicultural marketplace.

Richard Camejo, a 36-year UPS veteran, is President of UPS Mid-Atlantic District. Mr. Camejo directs all staff departments and operations in Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, and western Maryland.

Ms. Borrego Dulworth, together with members of the executive management team, who serve on the Diversity Council, will continue to advance the company’s relationships with diverse employees, customers, and business partners. She joined Chrysler Group LLC after 20 years of cross-functional experiences in human resources, legal, finance, corporate administration, and business development.

Mr. Camejo serves on the Board of Directors for the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business & Industry. He formerly was President of CLADEC (Conferencia Latinoamericana de Compañías Express/ Courier Assoc. for Latin America). In 2013, Mr. Camejo was recognized by Hispanic Business as one of the top 50 most influential Hispanics in the U.S. Previously, he served as the honorary chairperson for the Greater Pittsburgh Literacy Council luncheon. Mr. Camejo is an advocate of the National Council of La Raza and United Way. He is also involved in various volunteer activities with employees throughout his district.

She earned a B.A. in Business Administration with a concentration in corporate finance in 1987 and a JD in 1993 from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Alma L. Crossley serves as Director for Diversity Initiatives for General Motors (GM). Ms. Crossley’s primary responsibility is to favorably position GM as the company of choice for its products and services among diverse communities by promoting, supporting, and leveraging diversity within and outside GM.

Lourdes Díaz is Vice President of Diversity Relations for Sodexo USA. She is responsible for establishing strategic partnerships with diverse organizations, minority owned businesses, and community leaders in key markets around the country as well as driving the diversity and inclusion message to internal stakeholders and lines of business.

In her position, Ms. Crossley works to establish relationships with key advocacy groups and consult across various GM functions to achieve diversity business goals. In 2011, Hispanic Business selected Ms. Crossley as of the “100 Most Influential Hispanics,” and in 2012 Latino Justice designated her as a Latina Trailblazer. She earned her undergraduate degree from General Motors Institute in 1990 and received her MBA from the University of Phoenix in 1997.

Her commitment and leadership role in representing Sodexo in the marketplace continues to promote best diversity practices, as Sodexo ranks #1 on the DiversityInc’s 50 top companies in the diversity arena. Ms. Díaz also creates linkages between Sodexo’s sales/ operations teams and community/ minority leaders and partners to enhance the company’s business development strategies. Ms. Díaz holds a B.A. in Marketing from Loyola University in Chicago.

Monica Diaz is the Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion and Wellness at ESPN, the Worldwide Leader in Sports, part of The Walt Disney Company. Ms. Diaz is a seasoned leader in the fields of global diversity and inclusion, talent management, and organizational development.

Rafael Díaz-Granados is currently the Simplification Leader for GE Healthcare, GE’s $18 billion plus healthcare division. In his role, he is tasked with making GE Healthcare easier to do business with for customers and instituting simple processes that eliminate unnecessary work for employees.

She has extensive experience in Human Resources (HR), with expertise in corporate culture transformation, development of high performing teams, and leadership in multicultural and matrix environments. She joined ESPN in 2012 with more than 20 years of experience in the HR field and more than 15 years in diversity and inclusion applied in technology, pharmaceutical, apparel, and staffing service industries. Her accomplishments have been acknowledged with significant recognitions such as, one of Hispanic Business Magazine’s “50 Influentials” (2013) and “100 Influentials” (2011) – and “Worldwide Who’s Who among Executives and Professionals” (2007, 2008, and 2012). She is a member of the HACR CEF Strategic Planning Committee, Hispanic Role model at HISPA, and advisor to several professional organizations.

Most recently, Mr. Díaz-Granados was the Growth Leader for GE Latin America where his responsibilities included leading strategic marketing initiatives and managing key accounts. He joined GE in 2000 as the Strategic Alliances Counsel for GE Healthcare and was promoted to several Legal and Six Sigma leadership positions. In 2004, he took the role of General Counsel for GE Latin America, was promoted to President of GE’s operations in Mexico in 2006 and was named President of GE’s operations in Spain and Portugal in 2009. Mr. Díaz-Granados graduated from Harvard University with a degree in Economics and also holds a J.D. from Georgetown University.

With more than 28 years of industry experience, Michael Dominguez, Senior Vice President for MGM Resorts International provides oversight of sales strategies in the MICE, leisure and transient segments, including industry relations, diversity sales, and MGM Resorts Events & Production Services. Additionally, he offers strategic oversight for the company’s vertical sales efforts, managing the strategy for global sales offices in Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, New Jersey, Arizona, Mid-Atlantic, Phoenix, and Canada, overseeing the development and execution of a companywide sales strategy for top destination accounts.

Raquel Egusquiza is Vice President, Community Affairs, Hispanic Enterprises and Content at NBCUniversal. She works on the development of the company’s strategic community relations planning as it relates to NBCU’s Telemundo Media, in concert with parent company Comcast’s external relations team.

He currently serves as the ChairmanElect on the International Board of Directors for Meeting Professionals International. His other industry leadership involvement includes board positions with: U.S. Travel Association, Steering Committee for U.S. Travel’s Meetings Means Business Council, Starcite Advisory Board, Elite Meetings Advisory Board, PCMA Issues and Trends Taskforce, ASAE Industry Partner Alliance, and Convene Green Advisory Board.

Ms. Egusquiza was recently the Vice President, Multicultural Markets for AARP, where she created and executed an organization-wide multicultural strategy that increased member awareness, engagement, retention, and acquisition. She also served as external spokesperson and association representative for AARP’s Hispanic initiatives in the community. Prior to her time at AARP, she served as Director of Community Development and International Strategy for Ford Motor Company Fund, where she managed corporate relations and philanthropic initiatives for more than 200 organizations and programs. Ms. Egusquiza has served on the board of numerous nonprofits and currently serves as a member of the Corporate Advisory Board for the Cuban American National Council and a board member for the Smithsonian Latino Center. She earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Miami.

Isaura Gaeta is the Director of the Global Program Office for Corporate Affairs at Intel Corporation. In this role, she is responsible for university relations, K-12 programs, and community engagement worldwide.

Over the 15 years that Juan Galarraga has been with Target, he’s held various managerial positions. Recently Mr. Galarraga has transitioned to the Vice President of the Stores Supply Chain. His team currently supports the processes and new initiatives for the Stores Supply Chain for all Target Stores. In addition, his team is leading the Stores Organization through various Mulitchannel Initiatives.

Ms. Gaeta joined Intel in 1984 and previously was the Director of California Technology and Manufacturing in Santa Clara, leading the development of semiconductor processing technologies, during which she received two U.S. patents and numerous technical awards. She currently sits on the Intel Hispanic Leadership Council, the Board of Directors of WEPAN, the Industrial Advisory Board for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers, and the Advisory Board for El Centro Chicano at Stanford University.

Mr. Galarraga also serves as the Executive Sponsor for the Hispanic Business Counsel. He plays an active role in helping the company define strategies to hire, retain, and develop future Hispanic leaders as well as making a positive impact in the community and business place.

Randy Huey joined Dell in 1999 and currently serves as Execute Strategist to Dell’s Chief Commercial Officer and President of Enterprise. In this role, Mr. Huey works with the senior leadership team to define and manage the operating agenda and to accelerate Dell’s overall transformation across its divisions. Previously, he spent five years in Dell’s Consumer and Small Business organization, where he led the strategy and operations teams to build out the company’s global retail footprint.

Mr. Hernández also participates on the Des Moines Latino Center Leadership Committee, the YMCA of Greater Des Moines Board of Directors, and is an award-winning member of the Public Relations Society of America. He earned his B.S. in Journalism from California State University, Long Beach and received a reputation management certification from the Reputation Institute in 2010. He is currently pursuing an M.A. in Social Responsibility and Sustainable Communities from Western Kentucky University.

Mr. Huey started his career at Dell in the End User Computing product group, where he held a variety of leadership roles across product design, marketing, and brand messaging for both corporate and consumer products. He also played an integral role in driving Dell’s initial global product expansion efforts. He has served as the executive sponsor for Dell’s MBA recruiting programs, where the company has consistently sourced much of its top talent. He holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Vermont and an MBA from Northwestern University.

Sandra Lopez joined Intel in 2005 as B2B Integrated Marketing Manager. Leveraging her vast and proven marketing experience in the technology sector, she quickly began to transform B2B Marketing within Intel. She was then chartered to drive Intel’s Consumer Marketing Strategy group where she drove Intel’s focus on the Masterbrand and the launch of the Intel Core processor brand. She helped launch Intel’s first smartphone and Android tablets. Currently, she has been chartered to drive Intel’s Wearable Business Marketing Strategy in Fashion.

As the Stores HR Director for the Southeast region of the U.S., she is responsible for overseeing Human Resource functions for more than 475 stores and the career planning, development, and retention for more than 3,200 leaders. Additionally, Ms. Ingrando implements strategies around talent development, team engagement, and HR operations for the store’s organization that helps align HR to Target’s business strategies. She received her B.A. in Business Management from Florida International University in Miami, FL and is currently a member of the Network of Executive Women.

Louis P. Miramontes is a Senior Partner at KPMG with more than 37 years of experience. Mr. Miramontes has served public and private clients in the consumer markets, manufacturing, real estate, and construction industries, most recently serving and assisting C-level executives and Boards of Directors address financial reporting, governance, and regulatory matters.

With 26 years of sales and marketing experience in the insurance and financial services industry, Mr. Mendoza started his career as a multiline agency owner for Allstate in his hometown of El Paso, Texas. Over his business career, he has progressed through various levels of management and responsibility in sales, operations, and administration. He is a University of Texas at El Paso graduate and holds MBA and doctorate degrees in Business Administration. His thought leadership and research about the Hispanic market and small business owners is published in various academic and business journals.

For the past eight years, he has served on KPMG’s Diversity Advisory Board, which assists firm leaders to define and implement the firm’s diversity strategy and he is also co-leader of KPMG’s Hispanic/Latino Network. Rick Ramirez serves as Warner Bros. Pictures Senior Vice President, Targeted Marketing. He is responsible for overseeing specialized marketing efforts for Hispanic, African American, and Asian American audiences, for all films released under the studio’s banner in the areas of creative advertising, publicity, promotions, and interactive. Mr. Ramirez worked on the final two Harry Potter movies that brought the blockbuster franchise to an epic conclusion. He also worked on such films as Steven Soderbergh’s “Contagion” and “Magic Mike”; Christopher Nolan’s “The Dark Knight Rises”; Baz Luhrmann’s “The Great Gatsby”; Zack Snyder’s “Man of Steel”; Guillermo del Toro’s “Pacific Rim”; Peter Jackson’s “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” and “The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug”; and Alfonso Cuarón’s awardwinning “Gravity.”

Mr. Ponce was the GM Key Organization Liaison for the three major Hispanic organizations that GM partners with on a number of initiatives – Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE), Great Minds in STEM (formerly HENAAC) and The Society of Mexican American Engineers and Scientists (MAES). In 2003, he received the HENAAC (Hispanic Engineering Achievement Award Corporation) Executive Excellence award. In 2005, he received the SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers) Corporate Achievement award. Mr. Ponce graduated from Kettering University (formerly General Motors Institute) in 1978 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. He received his MBA from Stanford University in 1984.

Ramirez holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin, and a JD degree from the University of Texas School of Law and began his professional career in Dallas as an attorney practicing corporate law.

David Ruiz, a 35year UPS veteran, is President of UPS Florida. Mr. Ruiz directs all staff departments and operations, which includes a sophisticated transportation network across the state. He oversees the pick-up and delivery of more than one million packages and documents daily to a service area that includes 40,000 customer sites delivered out of 56 operating centers.

Additionally, he serves on the Corporate Advisory Boards of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, National Council of La Raza, League of United Latin American Citizens, Cuban National Council, and the National Puerto Rican Coalition. Named one of the “100 Influentials In the U.S.” for 2011 by Hispanic Business Magazine, he was appointed by Governor Roy Barnes as Chairman of the first Georgia Commission on Hispanic Affairs and to the State’s Education Reform Study Commission. He was selected by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia to serve on the Hispanic Task Force on Higher Education. A graduate of the University of Georgia, he earned a B.A. in 1982 and in 1984 received his master’s degree, with honors.

Currently, Mr. Ruiz serves as the Vice Chair for the Heart of Florida United Way. He was recently elected as a Director on the Board of Hispanic Chamber of Commerce of Metro Orlando and serves on the Board of Governors for the Florida State Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. He is also one of nine executives from around the nation on the advisory board for the MillerCoors Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Council (IDAC). In 2011, Mr. Ruiz was recognized by Hispanic Business Magazine as one of 25 corporate elite leaders. He has served on the Board of Directors for organizations such as the American Chamber of Commerce Mexico, United Way of Greater Milwaukee, and La Casa de Esperanza of Waukesha. He is an advocate for the Urban League and The Boys and Girls Club. Mr. Ruiz is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Chicago.

Lorie Valle-Yañez currently serves as Vice President, Chief Diversity Officer at MassMutual Financial Group. She serves as an internal diversity consultant, advisor, and partner to the company’s senior leaders, business lines, and employees. With these responsibilities, her goal is driving diversity and inclusion into MassMutual’s culture and operations in order to help achieve business objectives and propel the company forward in today’s increasingly complex, globally integrated marketplace.

Mr. Sarvis has also influenced the “Hispanización” of the airline in various areas, including the use of Spanishlanguage boarding gate screens, kiosks, and boarding announcements on flights from the U.S. to the Latin America region, as well as the hiring of bilingual staff in airports and customer services areas.

Mr. Viaño oversees efforts to integrate diversity into key functional strategies and initiatives to promote business results.
