ABOUT US Emirates Metallic Industries Company Limited (EMIC), was established in 1989 in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates by a group of Industrial investors as a unique Hi-Technology Can Making facility.

Today after more than twenty-seven years in business, EMIC stands as an iconic industrial leader taking the can making industry to a new level of professionalism in term of performance, product range, methods and technology.

EMIC management team is a group of expert leaders in their respective fields, and more than two hundred and forty staff.

EMIC is considered one of the main and largest can makers in the MENA region. EMIC is equipped with a state of the art can making technology to manufacture general line cans in different shapes and sizes and food related packaging range of products. EMIC also provide the market with a very advances metal decoration and printing services including pre-press, lacquering and coating services and fully computerized plate processing technology.

Developed from a deep believe of the importance of the quality in both products and processes, EMIC was one of the few early birds industrial establishments in the region to adopt a quality management system in complies with ISO 9000 international standard. EMIC is certified with ISO 9001 International Quality Standard since 1994.

The present certificate states that the Quality Management System meets the requirements of the new International Standard ISO 9001:2015 with the following scope:

• Design, Manufacturing and Sales of Can and its Components and Printing of tinplate.

EMIC is certified with ISO 22000-2018 International Food Safety Standard in 2012 with the following scope:

Getting the high tech machineries with a large capacity from reputed worldwide iconic machine manufacturers, with a long-term partnership of technical support and knowledge transfer agreements for staff training to keep the machines in excellent working conditions.

EMIC decided to acquire tinplate and other raw materials from carefully selected sources in Europe and Far East in accordance with the best international specifications keeping in mind the need to protect the environment and to go green.

EMIC always keep in the center of focus the recruitment of the best in the field of Manpower in technical, operational and management field. Such selection will not be rewarding unless we implement continuous career development plans and training to enhance the competency of Manpower, And to maximize the utilization of available resources. Product quality was always the core of the business process, since the product is the final out-come of the process. To ensure the highest level of quality product, EMIC have setup two laboratories with high technology testing equipments to ensure the best quality to our products.
