Fundraising for Ronni

I’m looking to raise some funds to make our garden accessible for my 14 year old non mobile daughter. Ronni has a rare chromosome disorder called CNTBB1, she is one of 300 in the world. It affects her muscles, so she is a full time wheelchair user. Ronni is very lucky to have two young men in her life, brothers Freddi (11) & Jaxon (5). We live in Hadleigh and are hoping to simplify our garden so she can use both her electric and manual chair to enjoy herself in the outdoors safely in her home environment.

Our garden is mostly concrete and dirt which is all sadly uneven. We have lots to break down and sheds to remove….fortunately we have been given fantastic support from local businesses including RAMS landscaping who will be providing the labour free of cost. We are very thankful to Donny and his team for coming forward. We also have the ongoing support of local business woman Barbara who owns the Thrift shop on the High Street who is hoping to help Ronni in achieving the quoted £3000 to achieve the sensory haven she deserves to thrive and grow.

Ronni would benefit so much from an in the ground trampoline, accessible swing or hammock. She would love to be able to garden herself, so raised beds and vegetable plots would be incredible. She also has two bunny rabbits, so it would be lovely to be able to give Ronni an area where she could sit with and pet them.

Lots of ideas have been suggested including sensory lighting and seating areas to make life simpler for Ronni as she is now in her teenage years and to encourage her to really get outdoors especially in school holidays. I have set up a ‘Just Giving’ page to just explore the possibilities of help and would like to thank the people of Hadleigh for really coming together for my daughter at this time.
