Personal Reactions

- Not attracted to the scent initially, smelled too old and dated. -After I studied the scent components within, I gained an appreciation for the use of Vanilla and jasmine, so that is what my nose started to pick up on. -Lived on skin for about 10 hours. Started off smelling as heavy vanilla and faded to strong musk. - Nobody liked it on me. John’s remark “what smells weird?” -Would not buy original Shalimar, but perhaps a flanker.

Lessons to be Learned

- One of the key aspects of Shalimars success lies in the exotic love fantasy that is created around the fragrance - There is always an aspect of mystery and romance in the marketing -Bottle continues to stand out from other fragrances on the market https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vfCkGf79Dz4
