A day with the family Module 2 Ms Cornelia Melcu (Romania) & Ms Sofia Giarmenitou (Greece) and their students
Process
• Teachers select a piece of art, with “Family” as the main theme • Students look closely and talk about what they see. Next, they imagine what it would be like to be physically in the environment depicted in the work of art. (They may hear voices, sounds etc). • Students make a drawing of what happened before or after the events that are occurring in the work of art that they are looking at. Greek students draw the “before” and partner students the “after”.
