This portfolio is a curated sample of works throughout the 4-year college degree I pursued at Bandung Institute of Technology. This portfolio demonstrates my capabilities and approaches to solve built environment issues. Aside from academic projects, this portfolio also exhibits small samples of professional works, competition, and hobbies that are closely related. This portfolio is by no means arranged in chronological order. An annotation under each project title indicates the year it was produced, the type of project, supervisors, and collaborators if there be any. Each project sample presents narratives, architectural drawings, and other graphic content to show the decisions and skills involved during the making. Some projects may feature additional items such as drawing and/or narrative to aid in understanding the project.

Digital Hub is an office space designed for technology-based business. It is located in Bandung Teknopolis; a new development initiated to create a thriving business centre for technology-based industries. Digital Hub would provide spaces needed for the tech industry to grow and prosper by addressing their unique needs and activities.

FOOTPRINT PLAN
Adequate length of driveway is provided to avoid automobile congestion inside. Pedestrian entry aims to provide convenient access from both the main street and the park.
Building setback forms the public area within the site. A semi-private zone is formed by the pedestrian circulation path and reserved to create an intriguing gathering place.
Tower footprints are laid out in a north-south facing direction to avoid excessive heat and sunrays. Footprints are slightly tilted to follow the site shape.
WORKING AMBIENCE
WORKPLACE WELLBEING APPROACH Tech business is notoriously known for its heavy workload and long hour of work time, and it affects company performance. Burnout is believed to lead to a decrease in productivity. Many actions have been taken to avoid the phenomenon. The ‘happyproductive workers’ hypotheses claim a happy worker is more active and engaged in their activity. Other evidence also shows that workers’ well-being and satisfaction are positively related to productivity. (Harter et al, 2003; Judge et al, 2001). The workplace wellbeing approach prioritizes the wellbeing and mental condition of its occupant by providing a comfortable and cheerful working environment.

Casa Batununggal is a midrise apartment building located in Soekarno Hatta area. It aims to provide middle-up dwellings for the urban community in Bandung. The concept of a restorative environment was brought up to set its competitive advantage, and attract the youngproductive community to reside there.

The area is currently growing from a suburb to exciting urban centers, and recently it has become more desirable among many middle-up dwellers. 15

An L-Shaped mass is formed by extruding the buildable footprint area. The shape creates an interesting outdoor space and allows for a better separation of public-private area.
The mass is split into three, due to structural, utility, and circulation issues. Each mass would serve a different type and tier of housing units.
The southern-most mass is slightly tilted a few degrees to respond to the lot shape and to create an interesting overall building shape. A core is added for structure and circulation.

HEALING AND RESTORATIVE ENVIRONMENT Urban lifestyle often leads to stress and burnout due to the rigorous nature of the activity. While this is unpreventable, these issues can be solved through measures like a restorative environment. The concept of ‘everyday vacation’ is brought up here. The aim is to generate a restorative built environment through resort-like features in urban settings, so residents could relax and recharge themselves after a long tiring day.
BUILDING MATERIALS
Materials are chosen to create an intriguing impression and distinctive factor for the apartment building. Anthracite cladding blends the tower with the streetscape on the ground level, while the b-foam panels provide a unique facade without structural hassle.

MODULAR DESIGN To maximize the number of units available and increase space efficiency, a modular approach design was employed. The approach was to design room bay in a modular measurement of 4x8 meters. The three resulted modules then are stacked and arranged all together. The upper stacks hold modules for bigger units, meanwhile, the lower ones are reserved for the studio units.

AGRICULTURE SCHOOL Architecture Design Studio IV | 2019 | Academic Works Supervisor : Dr. Firmansyah, S.T., M.T.
The case given was to build an Agriculture-based Vocational School inside the Daarut Tauhid Complex of Parongpong, Bandung. Besides to respond food sustainability issue, It aimed to respond to common issues regarding the development of the PeriUrban Area. One main issue in question is how we as a designer would be able to develop the site given without altering much of its determinants. The proposed idea was to build with sustainability in mind. Here, I brought up the idea of Permaculture and Biocyclofarming concept and translate the ideas into the tangible forms of mass and supporting facilities.

The proposed building is located inside a boarding school complex. Hence, the surroundings are mostly low-rise buildings sparsely located throughout the complex. It has a relatively small buildable area due to its rural site characteristics.

The site is differentiated into three main areas based on its characteristics and proximity. The farthest area host the bio-waste and water treatment plant, while the most accessible area is designated for the school building.
To create an intriguing form of space poetics and maintain its permeability factor, buildings are lined up facing an imaginary axis that frames its occupants to the best vista.
The three proposed masses correspond to each other by its function and are connected through landscape features and bridge. The masses are also placed according to the proposed axis concept to frame the vista.

The plot was to design a community center in the hustling urban neighborhood of Asia Afrika, Bandung. It was designed in mind to provide space for those aspiring artists and creative entrepreneurs to collaborate, and also to create a melting pot between local and German culture to develop together. Aside from that, the building sits on a stretch of road which is well known for being the center of Electronics and Engineering. Therefore, the idea of Bauhaus inspired building is brought up.

The Alun-alun neighborhood is famous for being the melting point and gathering place for people across the Bandung area due to its central location. Plenty of community calls the Alun-alun neighborhood as their home, increasing the need for an urban community center in the neighborhood.

The site is laid out in three different zones. The one adjacent to the street is intended for retails and functions that need high visibility, where the farthest serve functions with the highest level of privacy.
The circulation paths are laid out in a linear form for easier wayfinding and effective space lay-outs.
The massing idea is three repeating blocks with each block serves different functions based on its level of privacy. The three adjacent masses are connected through one block of mass.

An entry for PARADESC 2019: Kidtopia competition. Teamed up with Heidi Aisha, Rafi Akbar S., and Ester Dorothy to design a kid-friendly park in Bandung.

INTERIOR RENOVATION
Entry for Archevent 2019 competition. Teamed up with M. Ilham Akbar and Shabrina A. Ihsanti to invent temporary/ transit housing for displaced communities in the Cibangkong area using KRL carriages.
Commissioned project. Converted a 2 bedroom apartment unit into a large studio unit to accommodate the occupant needs. Scope of work: interior design, furniture design, and rendering.
