CORE The core of the College with courses for students from Years 9-13 is based around NCEA in the senior school, and with a Hagley credit system in Years 9 and 10. Students are catered for as individuals and are able to manage courses around their needs and pathways, often working in multi-level NCEA study at different ages and stages. There are three colleges within the Core: • Junior Graduating College (Years 9-10) – see their separate prospectus • Year 11 Graduating College • Senior College (Years 12 and 13).
FULL AND PART-TIME COURSES Courses designed to cater for students passionate about training in certain areas, often with strong links to industry, to provide clear pathways to further learning and careers.
BOOST Courses and learning targeted to support and boost students’ learning and achievement. Programmes are specific in their approach, ensuring students are able to achieve skills and qualifications to move forward.
RIGHT TIME Courses designed and available at times specific to student needs, making learning accessible for many outside of normal school hours.
OUT AND ABOUT Programmes and courses in Canterbury providing learning across a range of areas from Music to Literacy. Some are based within schools, while others work within the wider community and workplace environment.
