As a market leader, we have taken the initiative by working with industry experts to create the HAGS Coat™ powder coating system.

HAGS Coat™ and HAGS Coat™ Plus paints contain an antimicrobial additive which has empirically proven to work against bacteria, mould and fungi for the expected lifetime of treated products.

Our specialist HAGS Coat™ is not only tough, durable and available in different colours, but is anti-microbial – giving our customers extra peace of mind.

Not only does HAGS Coat™ reduce the presence of microbes on painted metal products by up to 99,99% - giving users peace of mind - the coatings are tough, durable and stylish.

Safety and innovation are key components in whatever we do. As standard, we will ensure that all HAGS fitness equipment will come powder coated with the HAGS Coat™ – a powder coat system you can trust.

The HAGS Coat™ Plus formula (our highest performance paint) has the additional benefit of enhancing corrosion and abrasion resistance, especially beneficial for coastal locations.

HAGS Coat™ Testing The testing of HAGS Coat™ was successfully completed in accordance with ISO 21702.

The results confirmed that the active ingredient in our powder coating surface provides the following protection; • Feline Corona Virus, Munich Strain, with a reduction of 91.49%, after 2 hours • Influenza H1N1, with a reduction of 97.55%, after 2 hours.

In addition and in accordance with ISO 22196, HAGS Coat™ also concluded protection against; • MRSA, was proven effective, with a reduction of 99.99%, after 24 hours.

• E.coli, was proven effective, with a reduction of 99.99%, after 24 hours.
