OHA WEEK

OHA Week, held in August 2022 was initiated as an opportunity to connect current students with the Old Haileyburians Association brand.

The inaugural OHA week comprised two key days;

Tuesday: Senior School carnival and Year 9 activities

Friday: Middle School BBQ and giveaways

Senior school carnival activities included food trucks, virtual reality games, bubble soccer, a DJ and OHA led activations.

Year 9 activities were conducted for 90 minutes and were led primarily by Old Haileyburians. Some of these activities included;

• Painting workshop

• AFL/AFLW

• Paramedic

• Comedy

• Jewellery design

• Caricatures

• Martial Arts

• Lawn Bowls

• Women in Engineering

• Money Matters (Financial)

All middle school students at all campuses were treated to a free BBQ courtesy of the OHA. The activities and concept provide a way for our organisation to become known to Haileybury students providing greater relevance of opportunities available once students leave following Year 12.
