Terschelling, A november impression Visited Terschelling, one of the Dutch islands, at the end of November 2014. One week is far too short to get a complete view of this wonderful island, but here is a short impression. Hope you like it. Henk-Jan Kooiman
The sea The most practical way to visit the island is by ferry, a nice way to make some sea photos. It is however possible (by low tide) to walk to the island (mudflat hiking), a heavy 18km walk.
Birds and beach No island without birds. Only a few to see here. And you can make another book will all the things you can find on the beach
Animals A few of the animals you can spot on the island.
West-Terschelling Largest village on the island with the famous “Brandaris, the oldest lighthouse in the country.
Dunes For endless walks and wonderful views.
Thanks for looking at my SoFoBoMo 2014 book. All photos were made by me between Nov 24 and Dec 1, 2014 on and around Terschelling. I used the wonderful program Scribus (http://www.scribus.net) to make the layout of this book.
