ll I Wanna Do, Wanna ONE! Less than three months into their official debut, WANNA ONE is one of the fastest idol groups to ever hold a fanmeeting in Singapore. Managed by YMC Entertainment, the members of the highly popular boy group include group center Kang Daniel, Park Ji Hoon, Lee Dae Hwi, Kim Jae Hwan, Ong Seung Woo, Park Woo Jin, Lai Kuan Lin, Park Ji Sung, Hwang Min Hyun, Bae Jin Young and Ha Sung Woon. WANNA ONE 1ST FAN MEETING IN SINGAPORE : WANNA BE LOVED is part
of their First Fanmeeting Tour that was held in ZEPP @ BIGBOX on 22th September 2017. It was their very first time in Singapore and WANNABLES (Fanclub Name) were very excited to meet them. HALLYU had the privilege to attend the press conference for WANNA ONE and the interesting questions asked by the MC made the atmosphere very bubbly and exciting. About 50 VIP Fans were also chosen via the lucky draw to attend the exclusive press conference. Clad in white and black suits, the members of WANNA ONE were extremely charming and witty in their interview questions.
When asked about their favourite food that they have tried in Singapore, all of them said ‘Chilli Crab’! Chilli Crab is one of the most renowned food delicacies in Singapore and most idols who arrived at our little dot would have tried it at least once before! The MC also asked about what do the members of WANNA ONE do during their breaks; Woo Jin said he usually sleeps or plays games during his free time while Dae Hwi mentioned that he usually does song compositions, to which he teased the fans that a selfcomposed song produced by himself,
Jae Hwan and Daniel would be releasing very soon! Since the members of the group are chosen by the national producers from the survival show Produce 101, when asked about how it was like for them to be staying in the dorms of Produce 101, Ji Sung mentioned that they would usually have supper together at night and Min Hyun spoke of his hobbies like watching dramas and playing games when he had his personal free time. Dae Hwi talked how he ate well and practice really hard at the same time. His words actually wowed all of us as it was really inspiring.

ay the name, SEVENTEEN! Consisting of 13 very talented members: S. Coups, Jeonghan, Joshua, Jun, Hoshi, Wonwoo, Woozi, DK, Mingyu, The8, Seungkwan, Vernon and Dino, this is Seventeen’s first embark on their 1st World Tour ‘Diamond Edge’ and Singapore was one of their lucky stops! Singapore Carats were extremely excited to see them since their first concert back in last August. ‘2017 SEVENTEEN 1ST “DIAMOND EDGE” WORLD TOUR IN SINGAPORE’ was held on 29th September 2017 at Suntec Convention Hall. Seventeen performed over 20 songs during the concert and showed many of their talents in singing, rapping and dancing through their units.
The concert started off with Pretty U; clad in bright colourful suits, the boys went around the stage to greet their fans and interacted with them. It was then followed by many hit songs of the group like ‘Adore U’ and ‘Very Nice’. During the concert, Seventeen also showed their knife-cut choreography and displayed great group chemistry. They also performed remixes of their songs such as ‘Rock’ and ‘Mansae’ and also presented themselves in their respective unit groups. The Vocal Unit, consisting of Jeonghan, Joshua, Woozi, DK and Seungkwan, performed two really sweet ballads ‘We Gonna Make It Shine’ and ‘Don’t Listen Secretly’. Their voices were amazing and melted the hearts of the fans. Their voices were amazing and melted the hearts of the fans.
The concert then burned up when the Hip Hop Unit with S. Coups, Wonwoo, Mingyu and Vernon rapped to their songs like Check In, bringing the hype up in the arena. The Performance Unit: Jun, The8, Hoshi and Dino also showed us exemplary dance performances to their remixed songs, ‘OMG’ and ‘HIGHLIGHT’. During a special segment, Vernon and Mingyu even challenged themselves to a ‘Do Not Blink Challenge’ where Mingyu lost the game and had to do aegyo in front of their fans. Everyone in the audience squealed at his cuteness! Closing to the encore stage, Seventeen presented to us their latest hit ‘Don’t
Wanna Cry’ where the entire arena sang along to the beautiful song. And towards the end of the concert, the fans also raised their fan event banners read ‘Carats will always stay’ to the group during ‘Shining Diamond’ to which some Seventeen members even teared up because of the love they received from the Singapore Carats; this was definitely the highlight of the concert. e Ready. TAEYANG is coming back to Jakarta. YG Entertainment confirmed that TAEYANG will hold his second world tour “TAEYANG 2017 WORLD TOUR “WHITE NIGHT” in JAKARTA on October 13th at JIEXPO B3 HALL. TAEYANG recently finished the US and CANADA tour successfully and is now planning to perform in Asia. The meaning of “WHITE NIGHT” is a natural phenomenon where the hot summer sun never sets. It also refers to TAEYANG, who has consistently walked a path of passionate music for a long time. He started his “HOT” solo tour in 2008 continued with “SOLAR” in 2010 then “RISE” in 2014. Combining all the tour names it will create “HOT SOLAR RISES AND SHINES ETERNALLY IN WHITE NIGHT”. TAEYANG is a songwriter and dancer, who made his debut in 2006 as a member
of South Korean boy band BIGBANG, and he was the first member of BIGBANG to step out from the group as a solo artist. He debuted with “HOT” in 2008 with two singles “Only Look at Me” and “Pray”, received praise from the world. His first album winning the award for Best R&B/ Soul Album and “Only Look at Me” win Best R&B/Soul Song. In 2009, TAEYANG began to show his talent for composing songs and writing lyrics on his digital single, “Wedding Dress”. He release his first full album “Solar” on July 2010 in two versions a Regular and a Deluxe Edition. The deluxe edition had 13 songs including songs from “HOT” album. Limited to only 30,000 copies, the deluxe edition album sold out on the first day of release. Both of the albums peaked at number one position on Gaon Album Chart and he won the “Best Male Artist” award on 2010 Mnet Asian Music Awards.
Preceding his second album “Rise”, in 2013 he released digital single “Ringa Linga” which was drawing attention for his signature soulful voice and dance, as well as hip-hop swag. In “Rise” album TAEYANG involved himself and produced six tracks. This album reaching 112 on the Billboard Hot 200 while topping the Billboard World Albums Chart and Heatseekers Albums Chart, selling 3,000 copies. With this success, he released another two singles to promote the album “Eyes, Nose, Lips” and “1AM”. Later on he collaborated with G-DRAGON to release the song “Good Boy” for YG Entertainment’s new hip hop project. The song debuted at number one position on Billboard’s World Digital Songs chart, receiving positive reviews, with Fuse naming it one of best songs of the year.
After three years long awaited, recently he cameback with new album “WHITE NIGHT” with “Darling” as the title and “Wake Me Up” as a sub-title song. The album achieved number one rank in Billboard world music chart. ince its inception in 2009, the annual Seoul Lantern Festival, one of the representative festivals in Seoul, is held throughout the period from the first Friday of November to the third Sunday of November. Every year nearly 3 million visitors can expect to see lanterns along the 1.2km Cheonggyecheon Stream with various things to see stretching all the way from Cheonggye Plaza and Supyogyo Bridge.

Bulgogi Recipe korean BBQ beef
Ingredients
Follow the steps and prepare by yourself a delicious korean dish!
- 1 pound of beef tenderloin, sliced
thinly into pieces - ½ cup of crushed pear - ¼ cup onion purée - 4 cloves of minced garlic - 1 teaspoon minced ginger - 1 chopped green onion - 2 tbs soy sauce - 2 tbs brown sugar (or 1 tbs of brown sugar and 1½ tbs rice syrup) - a pinch of ground black pepper - 1 tbs toasted sesame oil - several thin slices of carrot

Mix all the marinade ingredients in a bowl. Add the sliced beef as well and mix well. Let it marinate for at least 30 minutes (overnight it will be better).

Bulgogi can be cooked over the stove (in a wok or a pan) or it can be cooked on a char-grill on its own. As you can imagine, they will give slightly different flavours.

Serve the bulgogi with some steamed rice and with other korean side dishes. Bulgogi is typically enjoyed with some lettuce leaves and perilla leaves.
Boricha The tea can be prepared by boiling roasted unhulled barley kernels in water or brewing roasted and ground barley in hot water.
Nokcha Green tea, the most common form of Korean leaf tea, is an unoxidized tea made of the dried leaves of the tea plant. Nokcha can be blended with other ingredients, such as roasted brown rice to make brown rice green tea, or lemon to make lemon green tea.
Types of Teas and Recipes There are four types of traditional teas in Korea: green tea, medicinal herb tea, fruit-based tea, and grain-based tea. Teas from dried flowers or leaves can be made by boiling the flowers or leaves for 3 to 5 minutes. Teas from fruits, roots, or bark are brewed for 10 to 30 minutes, depending on whether the ingredients are whole or in powdered form. Tea is best prepared using soft water with a low mineral content and containers made of glass or ceramic, not metal.
Maesilcha Plum tea is a traditional korean tea made from “maesil� (fresh plums). Most commonly, maesilcha is made by mixing plum syrup with hot or cold water.
TRADITIONAL TEA Insamcha Boil Korean ginseng root in hot water for about a minute or two, or until you get the flavor you want. For maximum benefits, drink your tea daily for about two to three weeks, stop drinking it for several weeks, and then start back up.
