Where is

BTS? BTS’s “Dynamite” made an explosive debut on Billboard’s Hot 100, taking the top spot!

The English-language track “Dynamite” has entered the chart at No. 1! This is the highest ranking on the chart achieved by an all-Korean group. According to Nielsen Music/MRC Data, “Dynamite” achieved 33.9 million U.S. streams and 300,000 sales in its first week, which ended on August 27. It gained 11.6 million radio airplay audience impressions in the week that ended on August 30. “Dynamite” reached 265,000 downloads sold in its first week, with its overall firstweek total sales of 300,000 including vinyl and cassette physical versions.

On September 2 at midnight KST, BTS revealed a schedule that first announces a performance as part of the Citi Music Series of NBC’s talk show “The Today Show,” which is scheduled for September 10 at 8 a.m. EST (9 p.m. KST). Next up, the guys will be returning to NBC’s “America’s Got Talent”! Their appearance airs on September 16 at 8 p.m. EST (September 17 at 9 a.m. KST). BTS’s previouslyannounced performance as part of this year’s virtual iHeartRadio Music Festival is scheduled for September 18 at 9 p.m. EST (September 19 at 10 a.m. KST). BTS has also shared that they’ll be releasing a “choreography version” of their “Dynamite” music video, with the note “@ Secret Venue.” It’s due out on September 25 at 8 p.m. EST (September 26 at 9 a.m. KST).

On September 3, BTS’s upcoming film “Break the Silence: The Movie” released a new trailer. “Break the Silence: The Movie” is BTS’s fourth film and will feature footage from the group’s sold-out “Love Yourself: Speak Yourself ” stadium tour. A key theme of the film is “Persona,” which was also the theme of their EP “Map of the Soul: Persona,” which was part of their tour setlist. The new trailer begins with footage from BTS’s explosive concerts, which is then contrasted with the members in casual clothes and introducing themselves by their real names. The film will highlight the differences between the BTS members’ onstage and offstage personas. In the trailer, the members talk about their identities at their debut and onstage, as well as the difficulties of letting those personas go. Big Hit Entertainment recently announced that the opening date of “Break the Silence: The Movie” in South Korea, which was set for September 10, has now been postponed due to the recent resurgence of COVID-19.

KOREA’S

Best-Kept Secrets:

Trending Roads Source: http://english.visitkorea.or.kr/

Songnidan-gil Amidst the offices and private homes that fill the area, Songnidan-gil Road stands out with its line of cafés and small restaurants. While the area always had cafés and restaurants, there was a huge increase in the wake of Lotte World Tower & Mall opening. Popular restaurants along Songnidangil Road include Mija Restaurant, serving a special myeongnan dongaseu (fried pork cutlet with pollack roe) and chamsora bibimbap (mixed rice with horned turbans), Gabaedo, Peach Grey, Danji Café and more. The street is perfect for a stop before or after visiting Songpa Naru Park.

Haengnidan-gil Suwon, just under an hour out of the capital, is a city of history but it is by no means a stranger to change. While the UNESCO-recognized Hwaseong Fortress and Haenggung Palace might be the highlights of a visit to Suwon, the newest attraction is Haengnidangil Road. This small street next to the fortress might appear rather boring at first glance, but the area has become quite popular through word-of-mouth and on Korean social media. There are about 90 different shops, each with their own unique style, from modern cafés and exotic pubs to pottery studios and black & white photography galleries. It’s also near Suwon Fried Chicken Street, great for when you want a bit more than the food offerings of cafés.

Hwangnidan-gil

Hwangnidan-gil Road in Gyeongju is yet another rising star within a city brimming with historical attractions. Just like a trip to Bulguksa Temple wouldn’t be complete without a stop at Seokguram Grotto, a trip to Daereungwon Ancient Tomb Complex

should also include a visit to Hwangnidan-gil Road! This road perfectly merges Korea’s traditional charm with a modern flair through rooftop cafÊs overlooking a hanok village, restaurants serving folk cuisine, and shops selling modern-style hanbok.

Haeridan-gil If you’re looking for the hottest of hot attractions in Busan, look no further than Haeridan-gil Road near Haeundae Beach! Up until 2013, this area was a village next to an active railroad track, keeping people away. However, the space became quite desirable after the line was discontinued, and many private cafÊs opened up. Each shop is unique and stand-alone, due to having originally been a residence. The buildings are painted in a rainbow of colors, making for outstanding photo backgrounds!

Gaengnidan-gil

Gaengnidan-gil Road in Jeonju has become a hot place thanks to the many young people visiting it. Originally called Gaeksa-gil Road, the name was changed to follow the –ridan-gil naming trend. The street offers unique restaurants, cafÊs with fun photo zones, and even bakeries selling the Jeonju classic treat, choco pies! The local pubs are also quite popular for their newtro vibes!
