Fishers and Noblesville Construction

The library is preparing for the future by focusing on improving access and expanding possibilities in the use of indoor and outdoor spaces. When completed, Fishers and Noblesville residents will enjoy more pedestrian-friendly access and gathering spaces, additional parking, improved traffic flow, plus more experiential learning opportunities.

Planning a visit?

If you have visited or driven by our Fishers and Noblesville libraries lately, you have noticed the initial renovation work required to maintain our buildings into the future and improve access for all. Our libraries will remain open during regular hours throughout the construction unless posted differently on our web page here or our lobby doors.

The Noblesville Library

The Noblesville library renovation will focus on improved traffic flow and expanded parking, increasing access to green spaces, creating outdoor amenities for all ages plus an updated front façade. We are expanding our Indiana Room with more experiential learning opportunities, and improving second-floor access. Currently the North parking lot is under construction. It is anticipated that the reconfigured north parking lot will reopen in fall 2021, and work will begin on our front entrance and south parking lot.

The Fishers Library

The Fishers library renovation will focus on more pedestrian-friendly access and gathering spaces, improved traffic flow and expanded parking, integration of the south entrance with the Nickel Plate trail, redesigning the north entrance to become the new main entrance, and expanding the north side parking. Currently the North and East parking lots are under construction. Library and Ignite Studio visitors can park in the library’s South lot or can find additional parking throughout the Nickel Plate District.
