Digging in Cemetery Records* Sat. Nov 9 • 9:30am-12:30pm Cemetery records are a wonderful resource when researching your ancestors. Participants will learn what records may be available. Those symbols and icons may lead you to unexpected records. Genealogy Roundtable: Focus on Disasters and Catastrophes that Affected Your Ancestor’s History Tue. Nov 12 • 2:15-3:15pm Have you ever wondered why your ancestor moved when and where they did? Disasters, tragic accidents, storms, and all kinds of catastrophes happened and impacted the lives of our ancestors. Participants will share stories of how such tragic events affected the lives of their ancestors. This is an informal genealogy discussion group. As I Recall Storytelling Guild Tue. Participants are encouraged to bring family information with them, as there will be time after the demonstration to research ancestors. Bring a flash drive to capture any information you may find. Join us to learn about abstracts, city directories, Sanborn maps, courthouse research, and more.
